just got home last night from sg. i love sg na. sobrang linis and wala naman kami na-encounter na rude locals. ito naging iti namin:

march 16 - arrival, check in, orchard
march 17 - USS, SEA aquarium
march 18 - chinatown, city tour (merlion, gardens by the bay, mbs, esplanade, etc.)
march 19 - bugis, little india, flight back home

got our attraction tickets via travel delight. fast transaction. malapit lang din office nila from bugis mrt, mga 5-10mins walk lang sa golden landmark complex 3rd flr. mabait din yun staff na nag-assist sa amin.

we stayed in Mayo Inn in Bugis (jelan besar). kabilang side lang siya ng Sim Lim Square.Malinis yun inn and around  5-10mins to Bugis mrt. nakuha namin yun family room nila for SGD140. may lift din so ok for senior citizens.  no breakfast included though pero lapit lang naman ng sim lim eh, sa basement niya yun foodcourt. may meal na for 3SGD pataas. bought our souvenirs sa chinatown. shirts are 4pcs for 10SGD, mugs are 3 for 10SGD etc.

hi mga sis, super busy kaya today lang ako nakapag net uli.. last week pa kami dumating from SG and Malaysia trip namin.. Recommended ko ang hotel81 Rochor, simple lang pero malinis at very convenient kung pupunta sa Bugis, and malapit ang Summerview hotel for the free shuttle to Universal Studio..
Sa Universal studio na din kami nakabili ng discounted ticket para sa parents ko na senior citizen, just present the passport as proof of age. Pero the rest ng tickets namin sa Asiatravel namin binili online.. Enjoy ang mga kids lalo na sa Legoland.. hehe

Btw, to those going to Singapore on april.  I think no need to cancel your trips coz PSI is back to normal thanks to the rain.  It means that haze is not that visible and SG is in good condition for tour.

Sis xtine, tama ba pagkakahiwalay ko sa destinations sa may Raffles and Esplanade MTR stations? And tama ba intindi ko na going to RWS, baba ng Harbourfront MTR station then may bus na dun going in? Balak pa sana namin mag changi city point kaya lang 10am departure namin. Pagkarating naman namin, parang mahirap mag shopping na may dala pang luggages.

Hi girls! I need help la. 

We will be in Singapore on March 21-24. Medyo nahihirapan ako sa pag-ayos ng itinerary that will suit everyone. May kasama kasi kaming 3 senior citizens so baka mapagod agad. Tapos sa Geylang pa yung hotel na kinuha ng iba. Paki check naman yung ginawa ko please.

Friday:
9AM - arrival
11AM - 2PM Chinatown (lunch, souvenirs, Thian Hock Keng temple via Ann Siang)
3PM - 5PM Wisma Atria (I want to check out Sasa. I'm looking for Clio brand)
6PM - Raffles Place MTR Station - Fullerton Hotel - Merlion Park - Lau Pa Sat for dinner
(I hope okay naman sa photo yung night view ng Merlion Park)

Saturday: alight Harbourfront MTR station then take Sentosa Express
whole day in Sentosa (I wont go in USS anymore. I'll either try the other 4D attractions or the Adventure Cove Waterpark if I have time. ng mag-isa?! haha)


Sunday:
12nn - Orchard malls
**Is it worth it to go to Anchorpoint Mall?
7pm - Esplanade MTR station - Theatres on the Bay, Helix bridge, Makansutra for dinner, MBS, Wonder Full Show at 9pm
**pinaghiwalay ko Merlion and Marina Bay kasi gusto nila mag dinner both sa Lau Pa Sat & Makansutra and di ko alam if okay sa kanila matagal naglalakad. Tama ba ginawa ko? haha

Monday:
rest lang sa hotel kasi our departure is 10

Sis Ella, I think tian hock temple's nearest MRT is raffles place.  Why not go to (1) Chinatown first then ride the taxi to Esplanade for merlion and Marina bay view, then Raffles place. 

Chinatown, Esplanade and Raffles place is just nearby each other.  From chinatown, ride the downtown line Chinatown to bayfront MRT (marina bay sands).  THen from MBS, Esplanade area ka na which means makansutra, theatres by the bay, merlion and fullerton park. 

After fullerton park, meron doon sign papunta lau pa sat.

On your second day, from harbourfront, punta ka ng vivo city then sentosa. then if you have time, hit orchard.

^^okay naman train system sa SG sis pero kung 3 adults din kayong magttrain (you, hubby and yaya) baka konti lang difference and mas convenient pa kapag taxi lalo na kapag hindi rush hour..

Example, bugis to changi airport, SGD15 lang taxi namin kanina, morning yun.. Syempre may mga baggages kame kaya hassle magtrain.. May extra charge na.. Pero kung gabi nga tapos malayo, ayun may night diff mga taxis..

examiner30, share ko lang din na yung 5yr old son ko hindi ganun nag enjoy sa loob ng dome. We went to the cloud forest and flower dome. Naaliw lang siya sa cloud forest kasi misty, malamig, may fog effect na para kang nasa clouds. But other than that, lakad lakad lang siya just because he needs to hahahaha Mabuti nga he didn't pick the flowers

Thank you sis! Ta-try na lang namin siguro pumasok sa isang dome para makita naman namin kahit pano. Peto naiimagine ko na yung anak ko mahirap siyang iuwi pag nasa waterpark na. hehe

hubby and I were in USS last thursday, daming tao, bec of the school break siguro, daming group of bagets. medyo late na din kami dumating mga 1130am.
had to queue for almost an hour sa transformer, dito lang mahaba ang pila, the rest ok naman like sa the mummy mga 20mins.
umulit kami ni hubby sa transformer but this time as single rider na lang hehe
umulan for an hour muntik pa tuloy macancel ang waterworld at 5pm.
we left the park at 7pm,
nagenjoy naman kami ni hubby, it was our 2nd time pa lang sa USS, 2011 pa yung first punta namin ng dun, wala pa transformer nun bat meron pa battlestar.

I hope that is accurate. Up to yesterday lang yung sinabi ni Girlcrush na maiklimg bakasyon ng mga bata so sana hindi ganun kadami sa uss. Although feel ko medyo marami na rin tao na tourists kasi bakasyon na ng mga bata here sa phils.

examiner30, I always have the same problem when I bring my son to waterparks. Ang hirap iuwi hahaha

RE Taxi: If group kayo or family of 4 (infants not included sa count), sulit ang taxi lalo na kapag off peak. I understand din kasi na mahirap maglakad with your toddler tagged along plus stroller plus baby bag. Pero since may yaya naman kayo, that would work. During peak hours, other than the fact na ang mahal ng taxi (surcharge plus ERP plus CBD area charge), ang hirap pa mag intay ng taxi sa CBD area or mga tourist area.

day 1-sea aquarium and sentosa , day 2 uss, day 3 sg zoo till 2 pm and city tour (merlion,esplanade, mbs light show, gardens by the bay), day 4 -legoland and day5  -kl till 1 pm only (petronas, merdaka,jamek mosque, sultan samad bldg)

na skip na namin chinatown in sg tapos batu caves in kl sa pagod at init din ng weather.


I've downloaded tripadvisor  app both kl and sg     for offline reading purposes ko lang, me iteneraries din dun for diy tour

Mustafa area is safe naman kahit late at night? Saw kasi may riots minsan sa little india area. E baka late na kami maka drop by the area since 24 hours naman siya.
