^^sis, 2 conservatories mean (1) cloud forest (2) flower dome.  So if you buy 2 conservatories, you get to enter both.  Pag 1 conservatory, either of the cloud forest or flower dome.

Cloud forest is the mimic of the tropical forest.  Which plants grow on each levels of a tropical mountail.

Flower dome showcases the flowers all over the world.  It also has a big garden with colorful flowers depending on the theme.

nag email ako direct sa Marina Bay Sands, wala naman 30% off. saan ba meron ?? tsaka naka lagay sa email, may additional charge ang 3rd person. masisita kaya kami kung mag sneak in ng 3rd person? kasi diba iiwan ang susi pag aakyat sa SkyPark. so malalaman nila 2 lang registered sa room.

when I checked their website now and checked the packages, reasonable naman and naka discount naman. and yes, they are strict on how many persons are checking in. there are cameras everywhere. And only checked-in guests can come up to the sky park. There's a receptionist at the entrance of the sky park who registers the guests going in. each guest should bring their key card and surrender it to the receptionist. if you plan on booking, I suggest you get the city view - overlooking the shoppes, the river, raffles, esplanade, Robertson quay.

hime, same reaction as you! Natuwa ako nung nagging ako around 6 ang buhos ang ulan tapos around 11 buhos rin until afternoon. Never been this happy with heavy rain showers in this country except today... Sobrang laking ginhawa!

^ hindi pa kami masyadong nakaka-ikot sa Gardens by the Bay.  matutuwa naman sya siguros a conservatories. pero madali sya siguro mabo-bore. baka mas mag-enjoy pa sya sa Children's Garden doon. may slides, water play at kung ano-ano pang activities for kids

@examiner30 Yes, sa labas yun and free naman. @kayesl is right about the children's garden. Though I haven't seen it for myself since matagal na din akong hindi nakapunta sa GBTB.

for those who wants to have food trip in SG, go to ramen keisuke tonkotsu king four seasons in Bugis. the best ramen i've tasted! then for cheapest steak and ribs for me it is Astons. sorry forgot which mall it is.

wow may waterplay! mag eenjoy ang anak ko nyan.  hehe thanks mga sis! its our 4th time sa SG but its my son's first time so we are really prioritizing kid-friendly stuffs. In our last visit, we did not visit GBTB because it was newly "set-up" that time. Our iti for this trip include USS, Sentosa, GBTB (maybe sa labas na lang since yung rhapsody lang talaga habol namin), then marina light show, bird park and river cruise all squeezed in 3 full days. we'll fly in from KL at 6pm ng wednesday then fly to MLA saturday 7:25pm pa. pag may time gusto sana namin 1 night sa MBS at relax relax lang para maexperience lang yung hotel and infinity pool. But since I have this obsession over that pool with transparent wall sa korean series "Full House", gusto ko sana din sa peninsula excelsior dahil parang ganun yung pool nila sa picture sa internet.  So I'm torn between the 2 hotels, dapat isa lang dahil masyadong mahal over lampas sa budget and baka maka stress pa sa anak ko yung palipat-lipat. hehe Any feedback po sa pool ng peninsula?

^Super enjoy ang 5yr old son ko diyan sa GBTB Children's garden! Meron naman waiting area for parents doon. Enjoy na enjoy siya talaga. Naubos oras namin sa waterpark. We were initially planning to walk around the Rainforest Tree Houses. Nex time

Just came back from my trip, thanks to all gters for all the information. Singapore is a very nice and clean place. Got my attraction tickets from traveldelight. If you will be buying lots if attraction tickets recommended sila kasi even if there is a 5 percent paypal charge nakatipid pa rin kami ng friend ko ng around 700 each or almost 1500 combined. Malaki rin yun. We enjoyed our USS visit, we came on a Friday. Okay lang mga line. Sa transformer ride around 30minutes nakasakay na kami. Sa city tour no need to get a package tour, you can just walk from one place to the other. When we had our city tour bandang hapon medyo may haze na. Sabi nila malakas na daw yun, siguro sanay na lang kami sa usok sa atin kaya hindi kami affected. We did not even recognize na may haze na pala kundi lang sa mga photos na foggy ang skyline. Pero rainy dun for 2 days na baka naman nabawasan na haze. Naenjoy din namin ang Gardens by the bay especially the flower dome ang ganda. Get an ezlink card lahat ng places interconnected by train. Useful application sa amin singapore city guide ng tripadvisor. Idownload ninyo sa playstore. Searchable and working even if theres no wifi or internet connection. Download na din kayo ng map ng smrt lines nila para maaral ninyo, sa official website ng smrt meron. Nanotice ko lang most people are always on a rush. So whenever you are taking the escalator, stay at the left side always. The right side para sa mga nagmamadali. Madami pinoy sa singapore. Sa mrt dami nagkekwentuhan mga pinoy. Nosebleed pa sa pagtatanong ng directions kala namin foreigner kabayan din pala. Pero karamihan ng napagtatanungan namin turned out mga turista din pala. Sabi ng friend namin na taga singapore, mas maintindihan pa dun pag ang tanong mo di direcho na english. Example instead how do we go to esplanade just ask esplanade, where, mas magegets nila agad.

^Naaliw ako sis sa "Esplanade, where?".  Kasi tutoo sha.  Even in the office, "How to do?"  Yun pala, How do I do it ang ibig sabihin.  Even Ikea, call them "IKYA" instead of Ay-kiya, i learned it the hard way. 

Yes.  I do agree na bearable ang haze dito simply because Manila is much polluted than here.  Kung sanay kayo sa siga sa bakuran nyo, then you can really bear the haze.  Yun nga lang, you won't take good visual of the sights, pangit sa pictures just like fog.

Its nice that you enjoyed Singapore sis.

Thanks sis xtine sa mga tips and info. Tapos pag kakain pala dine in hindi ka maiintindihan. Eating here or minsan having here. Pag mag aask ka for example to enter anywhere or basta permission, sinasabi lang namin can?Tapos mwestra mwestra lang then sasagot sila can, can....in tagalog...pwede. simple lang mas magkakaintindihan pa kayo agad. Huwag maconscious sa grammar at sentence construction, yung tinatawag nating barok english, mas magkakaintindihan pa kayo.

examiner30, share ko lang din na yung 5yr old son ko hindi ganun nag enjoy sa loob ng dome. We went to the cloud forest and flower dome. Naaliw lang siya sa cloud forest kasi misty, malamig, may fog effect na para kang nasa clouds. But other than that, lakad lakad lang siya just because he needs to hahahaha Mabuti nga he didn't pick the flowers

Hi girls! I need help la. 

We will be in Singapore on March 21-24. Medyo nahihirapan ako sa pag-ayos ng itinerary that will suit everyone. May kasama kasi kaming 3 senior citizens so baka mapagod agad. Tapos sa Geylang pa yung hotel na kinuha ng iba. Paki check naman yung ginawa ko please.

Friday:
9AM - arrival
11AM - 2PM Chinatown (lunch, souvenirs, Thian Hock Keng temple via Ann Siang)
3PM - 5PM Wisma Atria (I want to check out Sasa. I'm looking for Clio brand)
6PM - Raffles Place MTR Station - Fullerton Hotel - Merlion Park - Lau Pa Sat for dinner
(I hope okay naman sa photo yung night view ng Merlion Park)

Saturday: alight Harbourfront MTR station then take Sentosa Express
whole day in Sentosa (I wont go in USS anymore. I'll either try the other 4D attractions or the Adventure Cove Waterpark if I have time. ng mag-isa?! haha)


Sunday:
12nn - Orchard malls
**Is it worth it to go to Anchorpoint Mall?
7pm - Esplanade MTR station - Theatres on the Bay, Helix bridge, Makansutra for dinner, MBS, Wonder Full Show at 9pm
**pinaghiwalay ko Merlion and Marina Bay kasi gusto nila mag dinner both sa Lau Pa Sat & Makansutra and di ko alam if okay sa kanila matagal naglalakad. Tama ba ginawa ko? haha

Monday:
rest lang sa hotel kasi our departure is 10am

^Hi sis,  I am at work so I'll try to complete my comments later.  Regarding anchorpoint.  It all depends if your goal is to shop cotton on or Charles and Keith.  Meaning, if one of the purpose of your trip is to score cotton on and charles and keith, by all means, Anchorpoint is worth it.  But if you're just going to look around (window shopping) or not sure if you want to buy something, maybe its better to skip anchorpoint. 

Anchorpoint is not along the tourist spots, you really have to take time to go there.  But if you're heading Ikea, you can pay a visit as it is just right across.   So going to anchorpoint really depends on the goal of trip, if shopping in C&K or Cotton on is a must.
