xtine, I heard MBS is now strict with bringing of guests at the pool area, last time I went here was when it was barely a year old and you can still go to the infinity pool via sky park. There's a shuttle service na $2 from the MRT mismo going to arrival area and vice versa, that's why I mentioned they can take the shuttle to the nearest MRT from Gardens by the Bay

mimisim, if your parents are fond of flora and fauna, they'll appreciate it for sure. you can check the website for you to have an idea what to expect. From Esplanade theatre you'll see the Merlion from afar but since Merlion park ang unang pupuntahan ninyo then might as well magpicture picture sa Merlion, di ba? Yung Chinatown baka pwede ninyo isingit sa last day ninyo, first thing in the morning? You can ditch Fort Canning. If you're not into history, baka mabore kayo dito.. Worse case scenario if wala na kayong time to go to Chinatown to buy pasalubongs, there's Lucky Plaza at Orchard as a last resort...

^nacheck ko nga website sis, maganda nga kaso ang mahal pala noh? pero gusto ko pa rin puntahan eh maenjoy naman din nila yun thou parang nakakapagod nga kasi malaki pala. what if eto na lang iti namin:

day 1: gardens by the bay, merlion (magpicture-picture nga), esplanade (overlooking) & mbs
day 2: uss, sentosa & songs of the sea
day 3: little india & botanical (coz 5pm pa naman flight)

hi mga sis, ask ko lang kung tinitignan ba ang passport or identification  ng kids pag pasok ng universal studio? di ko kasi matandaan kung hinanapan kami passport nung nagpunta kami universal studio wala pa kasi 3yrs old mga kids that time. eh pagpunta namin next year turning 5 yrs old na yung niece ko pero maliit na bata.

^^Sis, I suggest on your third day, botanical goes in the morning while chinatown in the afternoon.  Pero mas ok ang chinatown sana pag around 5pm pag hindi na mainit.

Sis Girlcrush, didn't know na merong SGD2 to go to and from MRT.  Sayang.  Regarding MBS, this july ako huling nag MBS, and 4 guests lang ang allowed per room sa infinity pool.  You have to register sa lobby then they will give you wrist bands to present to the one manning the entrance in the infinity pool (side ng kudeta).  With regards to skypark, wala namang maximum guests, anybody who is a guest sa MBS can come anytime.

Sis Mimisim, you can go to botanical garden instead.  Its free and I think your mom will enjoy the orchid garden (SGD5).  Aircon lang ang gardens by the bay.  But on your day 1, I do suggest going to gardens by the bay Supertrees around 7PM, meron silang free show doon sa symphony of life show, mag eenjoy kayo dahil maganda talaga.

^Sorry I mean before if you go to sky park, you can still go to the infinity pool area to take pictures, now kasi diba bawal na kasi exclusively for guests nalang ang area Yes meron shuttle from MRT and vice versa. May stop cya to flower dome yata gun then another one before the final stop to the arrival area..

mimisim, I second the suggestion of xtine, don't expect na may mabibili ka sa Little India rin na pasalubong... Sorry but won't recommend Mustafa due to a number of experiences na rin kasi there..

^sis xtine, at least hinde naman pala mahal sa orchid garden hehe punta kami dun sa morning ng day 3. and buti pala nasabi mo yung sa supertrees, will take note of that also. tnx sis!

sis gircrush, gusto ko kasi sana makita yung mga temple sa little india nagagandahan kasi ko sa structure eh. yung lang sana ipupunta ko dun hinde yung mustafa kasi hinde naman nga daw maganda. kaso san ko kaya pwede isingit yun? kasi yung day 3 botanical & chinatown na eh. baka magahol na kami if idadagdag ko pa? tia!

^Sis sa chinatown, merong hindu temple.  Doon sa dulo ng temple st (chinatown MRT exit).  Mas maganda at mas hindi matao.  Hindi mo lang alam ang amoy pag mashadong marami sila.  Better head doon sa chinatown nlang kesa sa little india IMHO.

naughty_pink, one bus ride lang ang Queensway from Vivo. You can take 97, 197, 166, 963 (ito lang naalala ko pero baka marami pa). Sa Queensway more on sports apparel although yung mga mura ay mga outdated model. Yung songs of the sea ay sa gabi lang.

^^Just to correct you, the distance between Gardens by the Bay and Merlion is approx 3.2-3.5KM and can only be considered as a "walking distance" IF you are used to walking and can endure walking for at least 20mins or more. The walk is not for the faint hearted that's why even in my previous post, I mentioned that this is not advisable because of the distance + humidity of this country.

mimisim, ok na yang IT mo.. Mas madali magdagdag ng gagawin just incase rather than to squeeze in a lot of stuff for your parents which they might not enjoy dahil sa pagod, just my 2 cents

Cable car is in sentosa.  Flyer is in MBS, esplanade side.  Cable car is definitely better that flyer for me IMHO.

We're here at YMCA Orchard. Kakatapos ko lanh magmasahe ng legs ng mama ko. Sobrang pagod.hehe
Unfortunately di n kmi nakapunta sa gardens by the bay kasi 5pm n kmi halos nakarating ng hotel tapos kumain p kami sa plaza singapura n lang dahil sa sobra gutom na kami. Sa sentosa tapos queensway naman  balak ko bukas.
Nalilito pa ako sa MRT dito. Hehe. Buti nalang sa doby ghaut dami lanes na pwede.
Umulan pa pala kanina.. Sana bukas di naman na maulan.

Nag esplanade, nood show marina bay sands at 8pm then merlion nalang kami. Super pagod pa din. Heheh
 
Ang liit lang pala ng rooms dito sa ymca pero malinis naman.
