Had an awesome time in Bohol!!!!! Too bad we waited 6 years to be able to go back.

Highlights:
1. Golden Cowrie. This resto has super yummy and reasonably priced food. Super sulit! I suggest the baked scallops and fruits shakes. ;) The table beside us order crispy pata and it looked masarap din.
2. Dumaluan Beach Resort. Very very very nice beach front. Low tide nun punta namin last week. So ang haabaa ng dalampisagan. The sand in their area is very fine and powdery. Sarap maglakad. There are seaweeds but most beaches in that area naman may regular na tigalinis nun mga seaweeds. Room accomodations, nothing to rave about, but wala naman din kami reklamo. They also have a pool, so my toddler also enjoyed swimming there.
3. Dumaluan Resto. Food is kinda pricey pero masarap and superb! We tried walking to BBC resto on one of our nights for dinner pero mas nagustuhan pa dn naman sa Dumaluan. May live band pa playing mellow and jazz music. May masseuse pa nakatambay nun sa lobby so we availed of reflexology foot massage while we listen to the band.

Tips and Reminders:
On our Countryside tour, our driver Mang Nikol, from Kuya Rod's team of travel and tours, suggested unahin namin yun Chocolate hills para di mainit pag-akyat namin. 1.5hrs and drive from Dumaluan resort to Choco Hills. Wala pa trapik un ha. We left 8am resort, before 9:30am, andun na kami sa Choco Hills. Then we worked our way back sa mga nadaaanan namin tourist spots.

The Shiphouse, is not usually part of the usual Countryside package, pero open sya and nadaanan namin so photop kami dun. Php30 ang entrance fee. Very nice naman un mga hosts dun at sila pa un magpicture sa inyo.

I asked to skip Loboc river cruise and switched to Rio verde Floating Resto in Loay, Bohol. Back in 2008, nun first time namin sa Bohol, dito kami. I vaguely remember how was the food and recent stories here in GT too says nothing special sa food. Dapat talaga papadaan na lang kami sa any carinderia madaaanan namin on the way for lunch. Pero on the way to Choco Hills, nakita ko to. 80% of the tourists aboard are foreigners. 2 tables lang kami pinoy.

I skipped the Baclayon Church tour and asked to go to Dauis Church instead. Dito ko lang din nabasa sa GT. The church is under renovation too but you can go to the backside and may maganda setup around dun sa big tree. May cafe din dun and sakto for our merienda. This was our last stop  before going back to the resort. ON the way to pabalik ng Panglao.

Lowlights:
Hindi kami nakapag Bohol Bee Farm. I was expecting tricycles waiting sa labas ng resort like in ALona, pero wala sa Dumaluan. I asked for the hotel service, 800/balikan ang car rental from resort to BBF (woah!!!). Hubby suggested we just stay at the resort and enjoyed the water whole day na lang.

INCLUSIONS:
Daily breakfast

Island Hopping (Dolphin watching)

Any feedback sa Lost Horizon Beach Resort? We availed kasi yung Eco-Budget Family Room nila which I find pretty cheap na, considering beach-front sila.  ;)

Para sa mga di nakakain sa bohol bee farm, meron pala silang small 2-storey resto sa alona beach called The Buzz by bohol bee farm. Sarap tumambay at nung  umorder ako ng lunch, may complimentary bread and 2 dips pa!

^i've never been to bohol in june so i don't know the answer. pero maraming sea grass sa alona at sa dumaluan so iwasan mo na lang para sure na walang nakatagong sea urchin. or wear aqua shoes.

Bohol is still beautiful after the earthquake. My family enjoyed the countryside tour so much.

As for the accommodation naman, DBR2 is okay.

Hi sisses! I'm  on the process of DIY-ing our itinerary for our 4D/3N  vacay in Bohol this coming June.
Questions lang po.

1. What are the places na worth puntahan if you are coming from the airport then you're going to Bellevue? Any places na madadaanan para di sayang ang time? Tips that I got here was from airport, Tagbilaran church muna then Golden cowrie, then grocery, then  taxi or pasundo kame options are: a)If may may places nga na pwede na mdaanan, derecho countryside tour c/o tatsky's group b)If wala naman worth it na place, avail na lang namin service ng hotel so derecho check in na kame then the next day na lang kame mag tour. What do you think?

2.As for the tour, we want sana mga worth it places lang  since I'll bring my 1.5 yo baby boy. 3 lang kame, no yaya. Just me, hubby and our baby boy nga, so mga tipong di kame mapapagod and kid friendly places lang. My thoughts are chocolate hills (its a must, non-negotiable), blood compact, man made forest, then Bohol Bee Farm (either lunch or dinner). Is it recommendable to just sched the tour on our first day-- meaning, from the airport, derecho na, or the next day na lang?
Our goal kasi is to have a konting tour lang, then dinner or lunch lang  outside to celebrate our anniv and birthday of hubby ( 2nd and 3rd day of vacay respectively), then we just want to enjoy the rest of our stay in the resort -- chill and beach bumming lang. Any other suggested place besides sa  mga nasa list ko?Also, malalayo ba tong places na to sa isat isa and achievable ba to for a half day tour? How about Dauis church and Cafe?

3.Also, I was thinking if ok ang Bohol Bee Farm for our Anniv or bday lunch or dinner, or any suggested resto na ok for special occasions?

Need your help and tips talaga sisses!
Super thank you in advance!!

Booked family** room w/ breakfast of Dumaluan 2 for P2,150, 50% off at Philippine Travel Mart Expo at SMX. Check in period Jan. 15, 2014 - Dec. 15, 2014. Rooms on sale are as follow: de luxe* at P1,300, executive* at P1,750, suite*** at P3,500, kamalig* aircon at P1,500.

(* good for 2 only max of 4; ** good for 4 only max of 6; and *** good for 5 only max of 8 ). Extra person rate applies.

I'm a bit sad na di na kami tutuloy sa Bohol this June :(. Excited pa naman ako mag-Panglao for the first time. Second time ko na supposedly in Bohol, pero countryside lang nagawa namin last 2010. :'(
