same lang halos ang lilinisin sis. the breast kits. i have a manual pump pero sobrang nakakatamad gamitin, hehe. lalo na if you aim on using it to build milk stash, go for electric. pero if for ocassional use lang naman, ok na manual. magsspend ka lang talaga time ng pagpupump unlike sa double electric. may mura naman na brand with great reviews, Spectra.

Unimom is a good brand as well. almost same lang naman halos lahat ng manual pumps.

Hi _Aiah_! Right now kasi ang worry ko baka mag splurge ako on an electric tapos hindi naman pala ako 'milky' hehe or ma-milk, sayang naman although yes tama ka I wanted to build a stash lalo na when I get back to work. Although were thinking din naman kasi parang gusto ni hubby na I'll stop working muna kahit one year kaysa iwan sa relatives si baby pag lumabas na sya. Ang hirap mag decide hehe, kami lang kasi ni hubby in the house then relatives 20 mins away from us. Hindi pa ako nanganganak I am overwhelmed na with everything, mababa yata ang pain tolerance ko so kaya gusto ko rin may pump para ilalagay ko sa bottle yung milk. Ahhh natatakot at nalilito na ako talaga

Sabi ng officemate ko mas advisable daw ang electric sa experience nya kasi mas nakakafrustrate ang manual lalo na pag wala masyado lumalabas sayong milk. Sa electric daw kasi namamassage yung breast kaya narerelax at di pressured sa paglabas ng milk.

@husbywifey, sis electric bpump is a good investment. if you choose to buy one, go for a reputable brand. so far spectra and medela are the ones leading the reviews. kasi mahirap kapag 'pinaka-mura' kasi we're talking about those found sa mga malls like precious moments that can potentially injure your breast tissues or decrease your supply lalo. there is a reason they put hefty price tags on these recommended electric breast pumps.

i have the s9+ from spectra. i bought it yesterday lang and was able to try different versions ng pumps nila and this one is the most compact and convenient dalhin. very quiet din. hindi masakit sa nipple ang pull nya, very comfortable. costs about 9k kay babymama.

maganda rin suction ng m1 and s1. nakaka decrease ng sakit ng pull yung vibration ng m1.

all from spectra. medela, i haven't tried.

^^i also went there. Re Spectra 9+, ito yong sabi, pls help to clarify

-  every 4 hours lang pwede gamitin and max 4 usage in a day? Is this related to the life of the batt? Kasi the batt will last up to 4 pumping cycles? Kung sa batt lang you can recharge naman. Plus it only costs Php800 to get a new one. But the lady also mentioned that it can cause motor deterioration. And she confirmed na mga may nagpapaayos ng mga M1 nila and ang cause is over usage. And M1 and 9+ have about the same usage limit. 
- you cant pump while it is plugged
- dont drain the batt, it should be at least 1 bar or blinking. Did it happen na ang 1 bar didnt last the whole pumping cycle of 20 mins?
- humihina na ba suction strength habang pakonti batt?

If i will be away for 3-4 days for short trips and would need to pump round the clock every 3 hrs, would that mean na hindi pwede ito? Ang sabi kasi dun sa babymama, d daw pwede.

I like the fact na it is very silent and compact unlike sa medela na gamit ko 5 years ago.

I am torn between this and S1 pero ang laki ng S1 😁 I was not able to try mag express kasi I havent given birth yet.

I will also visit Medela House maybe in the next 2 weeks.

Sis Sachism, update us once you've visited Medela House and kung ano kinuha mo? okay ba talaga electric breast pump? Nung una kang gumamit EBF si baby mo non until ilang months? I'm torn between Spectra 9+ or Medela Maxi Swing. Mas okay sana yung hindi masyadong maingay yung motor pero syempre yung heavy duty din. If ever kasi, I'll be away for 10 or more hours after ML. Kung atleast every 2 hours ang pag-pump, mga 3-4x ako mag-pump non sa office.

Concern ko before with the medela freestyle is humihina nga yung suction pag konti nalang battery so sometimes nakakapagpump ako while nakaplug yung pump.

May fear pa ngayon is I got it in the states so baka next time na masira siya I cannot have it repaired and hindi siya mura.  Sana kung ganun yung policy ng medela na hindi nalang sila nagbebenta sa international buyers, obvious naman na hindi local yung sister ko sa virginia hindi nalang sana siya binentahan.

@sachism charging while using kasi may affect suction quality. parang celfone, diba it heats up and yung battery life mas madali nadedeteriorate kapag ginagamit ng naka-charge ang phones. hindi naman umiinit yung s9+, i think more on ideal usage lang yung sinabi ni sales attendant. designed for use naman while plugged in si s9+ or m1.

yung usage, every 4hrs daw? hindi naman sis. hindi ko kinailangan i-charge yung s9+ ko for several days. i think more than 2hrs worth of pumping ang nagawa ko dito. i haven't used the dual pump feature pa, naka-latch pa kasi si baby sa kabila.

pwede yan sis if you use it for travel. mahaba nilakad ko sa metro manila the other day and i charged s9+ days ago. umalis ako 2 bars lang batteries, hindi pa nga nabawasan until bumalik ako. pinapa-lowbat ko pa naman sya.

^^^ EBF for about 8-10 mos sis. Happy naman ako sa medela ko last time. Gumagana while pulgged, or on batt lang.

^^ oo nga e. Yung sakin naman gift at sa SG din nabili. Buhay pa ngayon para mahina lang suction. Ganun din ako. Gagamitin ko for about 4x a day. 5x pa pag gusto ko magbuild ng stash. Which hindi inadvise nung Sales Attendant.  Ok din na honest sya unless hindi accurate ang sinasabi nya? She doesnt seem to be selling me the S1. In fact M1 and 9+ ang pinagpilian ko.

^ up to 4 pump sessions na 15-20 min each ang kaya ng isang fully charged batt (assuming double pumping) so total na max 2 hrs? She was very firm na wag gamitin pag naka plug. Kasi ilang beses ko tinanong and pinaikot ikot pa sya to sqeeze an answer na ok lang. No talaga sagot nya. Hehe. So I guess, in between pump sessions and 1 bar na lang yung last, pwede na magcharge. I forgot to ask kung may car charger sila 😂 or kung pwede bumili ng spare batt para ma fully charge muna bago umalis. Kung madali lang ba pagpalit ng batt.  Anong effect sa suction sis while nakaplug tapos ginagamit?  May backflow ba sis sa tubing?

Ok kasi sa 9+ portable talaga plus pwede din ang avent bottles. May nakapagtry na ba na derecho na sa storage bags while pumping using spectra?

^Inaadvice talaga nila sa medela house na na breastfeed if kasama naman daw natin si baby.  Mahirap talaga for working moms, kaya nga freestyle binili natin diba?  Oh well, no choice, nabili ko na e.

hi mga sis, ask ko lang nag sesell din ang medela ng pumping kit lang without the machine diba ? kasi un sis in law ko ibibigay nalang daw sa akin ang machine pero yung other gadgets bilhin ko nalang daw baka mas makamura?

I'm using Spectra 9+ and I'm loving it. Nakakapag uwi ako ng 6 bags (4oz each) minsan 7 pa kapag may extra time. I pump every 2 hours. Malakas kasi dumede ang baby ko. Hindi ako nagsisi for buying it kahit pricey compare to other brands, good investment talaga.

^hindi naman mabigat at hindi din maingay, yung normal vibrator sound lang ng phone parang ganun. nagpupump ako sa stock room namin, malayo kasi ang clinic dito sa work station e every 2hrs akong nagpupump. sayang yung oras na ilalakad ko hehe

Im eyeing spectra 3. Sakto lang yung presyo, importante mapump yung gatas at electric para hindi time consuming. May gumagamit ba nito? Kung hindi ako nagwowork okay na ko sa manual eh.
