^ You can try enrolling your baby in Gymboree for socialization. =) or Kindermusik. I believe they have trial classes..

Tama sis, may Gymboree sa trinoma. Yan din ang worry ko nung 2 1/2 si baby bukod sa hindi  siya talaga marunong makipag interact sa ibang kids kase siya lang ang bata sa amin.

Habang bata daw mas ok na nakikipag socialize sila.

^ You're welcome!  I hope you get to visit the school.  Don't let the facade discourage you, it's a really good school and the school directress is also very accommodating.  Four of my children went there (with one still currently enrolled), and I'm happy to say that when they went to the big school, di na sila nahirapan and were in fact honor students.    Most of their students go to St. Stephen, Jubilee, St. Jude, Grace and PACE.

Gymboree has Summer Kinder Camp. My 2.8yo daughter attends this now 3x a week 2.5 hrs per session. Her kuya attended the same program last year before moving to Gymboree Preschool.

sis Nanay Maria, you can refer to the previous posts. We have The Growing Place and Mind at Work for preschoolers in Fairview area..All good feedback for them. My daughter is enrolled at Mind at work so i can vouch for it. Happy yung daughter ko when going to school. What i like is that unique yung mga homeworks nila, not the usual boring worksheets, but more hands on and fun activities with the family. I think they are opening a class for Toddlers, for Junior Preschool & Senior Preschool this term. For more info u can search at Facebook (mindatworkph).

For elementary naman, good feedback for The Learning Tree and NEST. Both progressive as well. Siyempre biased talaga for progressive Hope u can find the best school that suits your child

From Cubao area kami eh. Malayo na sa amin yung location nun TGP and Mind at Work.  I already inquired in Learning Tree kaya lang medyo di ko nagustuhan yung the way they handled us when we went there. Di ako naging comfy, medyo parang walang warmth yung nagentertain sa amin.

I already enrolled my son in  Pail and Shovel Integrated School. I was really impressed with this school.  They have a good curriculum and I can say that they really follow yung student-teacher ratio ng NAEYC.  Namention kasi sa akin when I inquired na dapat pala talaga na may certain number ng bata lang ang hinahawakan ng 1 teacher.  Kaya sa P&S, 2 teachers ang nasa isang classroom with 15 kids lang.  Kaya nagresearch din ako.  Kindly look at this link:

They really follow that standard, unlike with Learning Tree, 1 teacher lang. Plus, their teachers are from top universities pa and mostly from UP.  I also like their thrust sa community building. The Directress, who was a graduate herself as well from UP, mentioned to me that their school has partnered with Gawad Kalinga and nag-adopt pa sila ng isang class sa public school near their area.  For me, important kasi din yun na madevelop sa anak ko yun malasakit sa ibang tao.  They are also implementing Singapore Math and Singapore Science kaya naisip ko na updated sila. 

My son is attending their Summer Class now and sobrang na-appreciate ko yung mga activities nila.  Hands-on talaga saka the teachers are all competent. hehe, sumisilip kasi ako habang nasa gilid ng room nila din so naririnig ko rin.) 

I hope this will help other mommies who are still looking for a quality progressive school

My kids will go to Our Lady of Lourdes Child Development Center (OLLCDC) this school year. Progressive school sila. I'm very happy and excited for my kids. Kahit nasayang yung 10k reservation from their previous school. Hindi kasi naging maganda experience namin sa dati. My toddler got physically hurt by her classmate several times. They can't handle their 4 students in toddler class. My other kid naman was judged by her teacher na may autism that prompted me to have him checked by a dev ped. Thank God negative. Hindi na talalaga gustong pumasok ng kids ko there kaya kahit malapit sa house eh wag na lang.

Hello Sis,

If you are looking for a progressive school in project 8 quezon city, you may want to check the
Family Partner Child Learning House. The owner/directress was a former principal in UPCDC and TF
is very cheap (30K+ if for installment). They don't have website so please check their facebook account.

^^mikaela325 Wow! What a bad experience naman!  May we know what's the school?  So we can be cautious in our choices.  Anyway, OLLCDC is consistent naman in good feedbacks although medyo strict daw yata sila dun.
