^check mo sis website ng schipol sis madalas may sale na perfume 2 for 50 euros. mura mga shades don (bought my rayban clubmaster around 6k lang don) alam ko dati nag sale prada baroque don nasa 12k ata.

Hi mga sis! Sa wakas natapos na rin ako mag backread. I'm planning on going on a Eurotrip this July. I just need to ask lang if okay ba ang arrangement ko of the countries that I'm gonna visit:

France
Belgium
Netherlands
Switzerland

Okay ba siya travel-route wise? May suggestions po ba kayo sa arrangement? TIA!

^Yup!! It is very easy to navigate Central Europe. Train is my fave mode of transportation. IF the train ride is too long for you there are a lot of budget carriers now where you can fly from one place to another. Just research the cities you will visit because some are really better and more interesting than others. For instance Brussels is nice, but I would choose Bruges any day over it.

I am soooo annnoooyed right now that I cannot take advantage of the ongoing sales of CX and TK.
For CX, they have a codeshare flight going to Budapest - kaya mahal.
For TK, ang naka-sale ay roundtrip flights. Pretty awesome deals for $880 roundtrip ha! They fly to most airports in Europe. Yung open jaw flight na gusto ko under TK costs $1,254.
Looks like I'm going with Emirates na lang: $1,220. (Ang mahal pa ng dollar!)
Kainesh! Sayang! Walang low-cost airlines flying from AMS or FRA to BUD.


Anyway, sharing my 80% finalized itinerary.
Day 0 - Depart Manila
Day 1 - Arrive in Budapest, Hungary. Rest. Some walking then dinner.
Day 2 - Budapest: Royal Palace, Buda Castle, Matthias Church, Fisherman's Bastion, Chain Bridge
Day 3 - Budapest: Parliament, thermal baths, etc. etc.
Day 4 - Budapest: everything else, some shopping, late afternoon travel to Vienna, Austria (2h45 by train). Overnight in Vienna.
Day 5 - Vienna: Old Town,  U-Bahn to Stephansplatz
Day 6 - Vienna: Schönbrunn Palace
Day 7 - Vienna: Ringstrasse Tram & Walking Tour, everything else. Train travel to Salzburg-3 hours
Day 8 - Salzburg: Mozart's Salzburg
Day 9 - Salzburg: The Sound of Music Salzburg. Train travel to Munich, Germany-2 hours
Day 10- Munich (copy mama squeak's Munich IT in the Germany thread)
Day 11- Munich (copy mama squeak's Munich IT in the Germany thread)
Day 12- Munich (copy mama squeak's Munich IT in the Germany thread)
Day 13- Munich to Lauterbrunnen, Switzerland (or Lauterbrunnen?) - 7 hours. Explore Lautebrunnen.
Day 14 - Paragliding in Grindewald!!!! CHF 280. If matapang ako skydiving sana for CHF 450.
Day 15 - Explore Jungfraujoch, hike to other areas
Day 16 - Lauterbrunnen to Lucerne. Overnight Lucerne
Day 17 - Lucerne to Heidelberg, Germany. Overnight Heidelberg.
Day 18 - Heidelberg Castle. Explore city. Heidelberg to Frankfurt.
Day 19 - Possible daytrip to Bacharach from Frankfurt
Day 20 - Frankfurt
Day 21 - Frankfurt. Depart FRA late in the evening.
Day 22 Home sweet home

^sis have you looked at Wizzair (HHN to BUD)? One way lumalabas nasa EUR40. Frankfurt Hahn airport is an hour away from Frankfurt Main where the legacy carriers fly. There's a regular bus service to/from both airports. Check mo bohr.de

@mama squeak - I saw pero napangitan ako sa schedule. Morning yung dating ng flights sa FRA. There's enough time to transfer to HHN but late afternoon na yung dating sa BUD. May onting additional lang na EUR 20 for a check-in baggage. [I flew out of Frankfurt Hahn airport before going to Venice (panget yung airport, hehe)]. Appreciate your tip. 

Trains from AMS and FRA going to BUD take a long time and they are not cheap too -10 hours. If I take a flight to VIE naman, I will backtrack and go around. I think hindi lang talaga maganda na entry or exit point ang BUD. But then, wala na akong maisip kasi gusto ko talaga mag Budapest na for this trip. I think maganda sya isama with Prague pala dapat noon.

^haha oo nga out of the way si Budapest. But your IT naman looks good. Well, unless pang Euro 4 mo na si Budapest samahan mo na ng other Eastern Euro countries.

@melodymedley, medyo pareho yun itinerary natin haha, we're flying into Budapest, then going to Vienna/Salzburg, then Prague.

^third week of June to first week of July sis. Solo traveler here so far. 
Done booking the airline, went with Emirates - $1,219.50 for the open jaw flight.
Done booking the hostels too!

Now researching about the Swiss pass and other city passes.

Hi, I just want to ask if any of our sisters here experience touring with a 1y/o boy, actually he would be 20months na sa planned tour namin. DIY lang sya and the planned is 17 days tour in Ams, Bru. Paris, Stras and Bern. Ok ba magdala ng stoller or mas OK if magrent nalang? We also planned to rent out an apartment nalang para pweding magluto ng food for baby.

Eto yung planned iti flying in to Ams and going out in Zurich. Hindi masyadong mahaba yung flight namin kasi we are based in the mid east.

We tried in 2014 for a week long tour in Italy pero buntis pa ako noon and dito ko rin nakuha yung mga tips pati yung tips sa pick pocket which unfortunately my husband was complacent kasi di pa daw sya napick pocket sa Manila, ayon first time nya sa Rome pa at ang laki ng nawala  .
If matuloy kami this year credit card nalang kami kasi napakalaking lesson learned yun.

^I would bring your own stroller. Mahirap maghanap pa kung saan mag-rent ng stroller. If I may I would do the ff:

Day 1  Amsterdam
Day 2  Amsterdam
Day 3  Morning train to Brussels all the way to Bruges
Day 4  Bruges
Day 5  Morning train back to Brussels (overnight)

Or base yourself in Brussels near the train station and day trip to Bruges and Ghent.

Days 6-10 Morning train to Paris / Paris and suburbs
Day 11 Morning train to Strasbourg
Day 12 Strasbourg (try to visit Colmar and Mulhouse)
Day 13 Strasbourg
Day 14 Train to Bern
Day 15 Bern
Day 16 Bern

Hi everyone

So I've finally booked the tickets and accommodations for our honeymoon and here's the itinerary... Please let me know what you think - it's our first trip to Europe so any input is appreciated

Rome: Sept. 18-24 (6 nights)
Florence: Sept. 24-27 (3 nights)
Venice: Sept 27-29 (2 nights)
Lyon: Sept. 29-Oct 2 (3 nights)
Paris: Oct. 2-8 (6 nights)

Still needed:
Plane fare - Venice to Lyon
Train fare - Rome to Florence, Florence to Venice, and Lyon to Paris
Car rental - to go around Tuscany region, maybe perhaps in Lyon as well
Tours/day trips - Pompeii, Tivoli, Tuscany region, Versailles, etc.
Hop on, hop off tickets - some include entry to museums other attractions already

Still so much more planning to do but I'm glad I was able to pin down the dates and book the flight and accommodations already!

Your 6 nights in Rome is tama lang since you plan to do day trips ex Rome.

You don't need a car in Lyon. Everything is accessible via walking or their metro system. Back read ka sa France thread for more tips.

In Tuscany naman in my opinion you only need a car if you plan to go around the area but since you only have 3 nights to spend in Florence probably just do a day tour in the surrounding towns like Siena, San Gimignano, etc. Medyo bitin pa nga if you only allot 3 nights here but if it's the only time you have doable naman. Question lang mga sis, will be travelling to france and probably italy in july, its summer there.... Ok na ba nga usual clothes natin dito na medyo manipis and some normal jackets natin dito sa pinas for summer weather sa europe?
