Natutunang mahalin or "love at first sight?". What do you prefer?

In the long run, tingin ko mas okay iyung natutunan mahalin kesa sa love at first sight. Bakit ko nasabi? Kasi iyung sa natutunan mahalin,being your friend nakita na niya iyung worse mo, iyung mga kapintasan sa iyo,and yet natutunan ka pa din mahalin.What if kung lumabas na mga kapintasan mo at hindi magagandang bagay sa iyo manatili kaya ang love in the long run?Siyempre iba ka makitungo sa friend mo compare  sa nililigawan/nanliligaw sayo. Let say mahilig ka pala magmura, malakas kumain,naghihilik, mahina ang pasensiya, may tinatago na peklat etc, sa mga kaibigan mo hindi ka mahihiya,pero pagdating sa nililigawan mo/nanliligaw sayo, siyempre itatago mo iyung mga kapintasan mo. As I told what if kung naging kayo at lumabas na iyung mga hindi magagandang bagay. Manatili kaya ang love in the long run?

Sis @katrinac come to think of it, your husband fell in love with you at firstt sight, pero ikaw, natutunan mo sya mahalin eventually because of his persistence.

My point is i dont think there's a better way to love someone -- whether love at first sight or natutunan mahalin, it's still love. And let's not rip the love at first sight naman of the possibility to last. If it's love, it's love regardless of how it developed.

With my current partner, it definitely wasnt love at first sight, but when we talked the night we met, there definitely was something. I wouldnt call it love but I was interested in him more than anyone in the room that night. And he felt the same to me. Ang joke nga sa amin nung mga friends ko was that "nung gabing yun, kayong dalawa lang ang naguusap, isang tao na nakalipas nag uusap pa din kayo".

We were both attracted to each other the first time we talked. And I guess the choice of making it work was ours as well. Kung hindi naman ako attracted sa kanya i wouldnt say yes sa 2nd date. And 3rd. And 4th.

based on TS' definition of 'love at first sight' I believe your love story falls under it since both of you were attracted to each other from the start. Para sa akin mas maganda nga yung ganun, kasi alam nyo talagang pareho nyo gusto ang isa't isa at alam nyong hindi kayo nagsettle at less mind games

Well yes, parang ganun na nga. Meron talaga na hindi mo madedeny yung chemistry eh. I think that was what happened to us

And true, no mind games talaga. Mas organic. Hindi pinilit. It just happened. Although of course the choice of working it out was always conscious. Hindi naman kase natatapos sa chemistry lang

I think most guys here would say B kasi yun ang natural sa lalaki. I think its important for them to be marrying someone they are greatly attracted to. (not necessarily magaganda, pero yung yung attraction dapat mataas talaga).

And most girls would go for A kasi, somehow all girls dream to be marrying their bestfriends. Girls look for acceptance kasi, so pag mas matagal kakilala, feel nila mas "tanggap" na sila.

you forgot about security na hindi sila iiwan and of course since in our culture usually it's the guys that pursue kaya siyempre walang no choice si girl sa mga magkakagusto sa kanya, she has to make do with the best guy she can get.

samin ni hubby A and B. Ako, na-love at first sight sa kanya, siya naman eh on the way na-inlove sakin.. kasi noon parang The Prince and the Pauper kami noon hehe. Siya yung Prince ako yung Pauper... thank God kasi alam kong bigay siya sakin ni Lord..
