@candygrenade I saw red Tsubaki Shampoo and Conditioner at SM BF supermarket. I hope they're original. I think naman SM won't allow fakes in their supermarket :)

@rhumbafrapp Na-try mo na yung white tsubaki? Nakakita kase ako naka sale sa IG, less 1k for the set. I'm really interested kasi best seller daw yun sa Japan.

Aww, sa SM BF pa. Sayang! But thanks for the heads up :)

By the way, I agree with sis rhumbafrapp, mas maganda for damaged hair yung white variant. The regular red set is just for shine and moisture ;)

@bluealmond

What differences are we supposed to look out for again? Smoother skin? Wala bang glow or ano-ano pa maganda effect?

As for differences, smoother skin? Or overall healthy glow ang nababasa ko (not just here but in other forums as well)

my cousin tried Meiji Premium
as i recommended it to her.
maputi na kasi siya and she just wanted glowing smooth skin, yung tipong korean porcelain skin.

so on her first week of using it
people around kept telling her na blooming siya. Nasa market siya once and the seller asked kung galing siya korea at may pinagawa. hahaha. Foreigner yun nakapansin sa kanya (chinese). Nasa ibang bansa yung pinsan ko nagwowork ngaun.
Tapos may ibang comment na bata nga daw niya tignan.

so ayun iba nakapansin sa changes sa skin niya.

Yes sis natry ko yun white. Ok sya for chemically treated hair. My hair is colored and I either rebond or digiperm my hair once a year. Sa HK I bought yun set sa Bonjour for 130-150hkd yun shampoo and conditioner.

I use yun yellow na variant

Satisfied ako talaga sa Japanese prods. Kahit mahal konti, maganda talaga. Unlike american brands hit and miss

hmm intriga sis. I've been hearing about this since 2011 pa but I was only 20 pa back then and di daw recommended sa akin coz I was too young. I think 24 is an ok age na diba? what do you think ilovejdy?

For those who drink meiji..what do you drink it with? Preferable hot or cold? Di naman ako hilig magdrink ng liquids EXCEPT for water..or sabaw ng pork/beef/chicken.. :(

^i think sis okay na ang 24 to start with collagen. I wish I had enough money din before... I would have started early din sana.hehe

I tried both meiji premium at original. I usually notice effects upon waking up kasi wala pang makeup or anything. kaya alam mo na yun ang cause.

I mix it with either green tea or lemon juice.

24-25 is actually the ideal age to begin anti-aging measures, creams, supplements, and fillers :)

Anyone else here discouraged by drinking collagen supplements like Meiji because it has a tendency to make your cheeks plumper?

Thanks ilovejdy. :) I'm not a fan of hot drinks but I'll see what I can do haha. Otherwise hintay palagi if may soup haha

@candygrenade

^ nyeks! haha chaka naman if blooming na may pimples..pano naging blooming yun? lol
So liitin muna yung dose?I read somewhere here na may pattern sa collagen daw..like full on dosage, then bawas..then something.
then full on agad.. I forgot the pattern though :(

thanks for the warning sis.. ako kase if nagbuy I just buy 3 packs kase tamad ako magorder ulit and i want to save haha

i have been taking collagen for more than 6 months na (i think), i was taking orihiro since based sa reviews, it has the same ingredient daw sa meiji premium, but when i went to japan, bumili nako ng meiji premium, roughly 1300 pesos lang when converted.

when i stopped for a week, i noticed i looked dull, i didnt notice anything naman na naging plump yung face ko, i gained a little weight din kasi, pero i like the effect on me na i dont look dull, i cant say for sure if blooming is the right term, all i know is i dont look dull when i take this :)

For those who take collagen powder with water, ilang ml nilalagay niyo? Okay na ba ang 200 ml of water with one scoop of powder?

Almost done with my Asahi Collagen Powder...waley siya effect.

Tiny bumps galore talaga. Mas prefer namin si shiseido collagen powder, mas mura pa nga siya kysa meiji.. pero yung mother ko hiyang niya meiji regular lalo na yung premium, never napagkamalan na senior citizen mom ko dami pa nagsasabi parang bumabata daw yung mom ko.. oily skin din pala ako kaya siguro too much pa for me yung meiji.
