^sa umpisa ok na yong 5k, pero mas maganda kung dadagdagan mo yon monthly para mas malaki din ang return sayo. Goodluck!

I just withdraw part of my funds sa Citisec after a year. I earn more than I expected and I will be buying more next month kapag mas bumaba pa ang price.

Sa inyo mga sis may mga lucky stocks ba kayo?

Ako naman swerte sa ALI 16.83 average price and BDO 57.39, may stocks dividend and rights pa na inoffer.  :)

Hi ladies!

i want to invest my money na sa stocks d ko na ma tutukan ang UITF ko sa BDO and lugi pa din hanggang ngayon last may namin na invest :(. i have an excess funds pa kesa i bili ko daw ng car i business ko na lang daw or ipunin, ang naisip ko i invest na lang sa stocks sa COLfinancial ba ok mg open ng account? yung 5k ba ok na?....and may advantage din ba if sa bank ka ng work ano pwede ko tutukan doon or need pagaralan pa? sorry daming questions gusto ko lang lumago na money ko haha....

sis you can also have the option to average down sa BDO mo. Yung fund manager ng BDO is one of the best in the country, kaya nga lang di pa sila gaanong user friendly, you still need to go to their branch to top-up, or you can apply for their EIP para automatic top-up every month.
You can open an account sa COL for 5K but it is advisable to buy atleast 8K worth per stock para di ka lugi sa mga fees (although maliit na lugi lang din).  :D

You just need to print the Withdrawal Form then send through email. You have an option to pick up the check or let them deposit to your account.

I personally went to their office and get my check. Mabilis naman silang magprocess.

^thanks for informing sis... Re-issuance lang to sis and not an IPO and preferred share is not openly traded sa PSE. Parang bonds lang that you will received a certain fix interest per annum, in this case 5.25%. Magandang pangdiversify to kasi alam mo na magkano matatanggap mo per year.

OT: ang experience ko kasi sa SMIC with BDO, sa BDO ako bumili, then may pinapadalang updates quarterly then semi annual nagdedeposit ng dividends sa savings account ko (less 20% tax).

^18.3 ang support. If broken, 17.4, if still broken, 16.5. IMHO, mukhang may ibaba pa ang SMPH, but that's just me.

Also, ano ibig sabihin pag sinabing breakout? ibig sabihin time to buy na?

^If you have an account with COL, check out the investment guide they publish every trading day -- there are support and resistance columns for each stock in that guide.

As for breakout, it means a stock has broken its resistance, reached a ceiling, or just basically jumped to higher price level. And dahil higher price, generally, it's not the time to buy, not unless you think the price will go even higher!

alam ko na ang principle here is to buy low and sell high,

naka hold nasaken ang stocks ko for quite sometime and I already lost 20% of my capital. I want to buy some sana pero after the Yolanda typhoon I don’t know until how low it will go. Please enlighten me as I need some encouragement to to buy low now. Kahit konti lang diba. Gusto kong bumili but im so hesitant. I have ayala, dmci, san miguel, philex, and rcbc.

JINJIN:*, another old investing principle is to buy on dips. This is a dip, so it's a great time to accumulate!

Lalo na sa hawak mo na stocks, all are or nearly at oversold levels. Yung San Miguel and Philex, kahit na medyo tagilid ang fundamentals niyan ngayon, they'll have their time.

I personally just went long on almost all of my positions (dati almost 100% cash ako). May tsupit na konti (couldn't help it), and ipit na ipit sa LTG. Haha.

Sabi may ibo-bottom pa daw ito, but for long term na ako; I won't lose any sleep over my stock picks, unlike the basura I got burned in before.

Fortune favors the brave.
