Mga sis, ano ba ibig sabihin pag "oversold"?

Also, ano significance kapag mataas ang Net Foreign Buy and Net Foreign Sell?

^ Definition of 'Oversold' c/o Investopedia:

1. A condition in which the price of an underlying asset has fallen sharply, and to a level below which its true value resides. This condition is usually a result of market overreaction or panic selling.

Or like the word implies, the stock has been sold too much already, so pwedeng ubos na ang sellers. Or no one is willing to sell at a lower price anymore.

Net Foreign Buy and Net Foreign Sell: since this bull run has largely been pushed by an inflow of dollars, what foreigners are buying or selling is used as an indicator for some stocks. It shows which Filipino companies they're betting on and have confidence in (buying them up), and which ones they do not (selling them). You can follow them if you want, since it's basically a sign of where the money will go -- which stocks will have dollars that'll drive their prices up. But there are stocks that just don't care what foreigners think -- JFC, for example. Locals just won't let JFC sink even if it is a NFS already.

Red na red ang porfolio ko   Iniisip ko na lang, for long term naman talaga ang investment ko sa stocks and reputable companies naman yung nasa portfolio ko.  Sana gumanda na pagpasok ng 2014.

May buying power naman ako at gusto ko sana bumili kaso hindi ko alam kung hanggang kelan ang dip.  Sa mga matatagal nang active sa trading, what would you advise?

down pa din ba or bumawi na? ako, buy lang pag down, pambawi sa mataas kong nabili, babawi pa rin naman in the long run...

Tumaas na nang konti pero hindi pa rin nakabawi.  2 months ago kasi, binenta ko yung matatagal ko nang hawak na stocks para ma-secure ko yung profits.  Tapos bumili ako ng bago, as in ni-revise ko halos yung buong portfolio ko.  Tapos eto nag-dip kaya di pa ko kumikita dun sa mga bago kong binili, kaya red yung portfolio ko ngayon.

^^ ako rin, hindi ko na secure profit ko nung 7.2k pa yung index. sayang talaga pero hindi mo kasi ma-guess yung market, and if ever you have analysis, hindi ibig sabihin 100% correct yun. hindi kasi ako magaling mag analyze mashado so buy nalang ako ng buy if i feel nasa support yung price. hehe. pang long term din naman goal ko dito.

don't worry mga sis. pag bumalik ng 7.2k ang index, sigurado GREEN na GREEN na portfolio natin coz we were accumulating during the RED tide.

Umabot before ng 7.2k ang index? wow you think by december aabot uli?

^It hit 7403, just this May! If Yolanda didn't happen, maybe we could've reached 7K level in December, but forecasts now have been readjusted to 6500-6800. Next year, perhaps? 9K, sure within 5 years. Haha.

RED na RED portfolio ko din dive na dive mga price.. pero okay lang din iniisip ko na lang positive at bibili na lang ako ng mga stocks today. i'm sure babawi yan 2014..

Ripe and red for me, too. I've learned to not sweat it and just wait it out. It helped that I let go of all my basura stocks and just stuck to blue chips when I revised my portfolio. At this rate, I can probably go until 7000 without looking at my portfolio since I'm sure they're all going to go up sooner or later anyway. Went all in at the last dip, so wala na rin ako magagawa. Haha.

yipeeeeeeeee!!! nakuha ko na yung id at password ko from COL only this morning and agad akong nag-invest. Excited lang!  Ilang weeks na din akong watching lang from afar eh... tee hee!... I bought JFC, MEG and MPI. Sana maging maganda naman pasok ko sa stocks.
