What TV shows are you currently watching? (Thread 2)

Sobrang dry naman para sa akin ang True Detective.  I watched episode two last night and wala talaga siyang effect sa akin I was sooooooo bored so I am dropping it from my list.

I thought hindi na ni-renew ang The Following at webisodes na lang ang mangyayari dito.  Nagulat ako at meron pa.  Will try to watch the season 2 premiere.  Medyo nakaka-umay na rin kasi hindi malaman kung sino talaga ang mga followers ni Joe eh.  I think that is one of the selling points of the story.

Watched Revenge last night and OK yung story nila sa latest episode.  I am hating Daniel and Sara!  Nabagbag naman ang loob ko sa life story ni Victoria.  The original Mrs. Grayson is back!

^Watching true detective right now... bored pa rin ako.  Parang ang bagal ng pace ng story noh? Parang gusto kong i-marathon na lang like what Sis Tin is planning to do... kaso baka lalong di ko ito matapos.  I want to pa naman kase nacucurious ako kung sino pumatay dun sa girl.

Waaah parang ako lang yata ang nagustuhan ang True Detective. Intriguing kasi what happened between now and 20 years ago, bakit nagdrift apart yung dating magpartners, bakit na reopen ang case, on top of yung mga personal issues nila. Secondary na lang yung murder case. Yung characyer ni Matthew pati masyadong complex. Kwento lang ng buhay nya, maraming pwede i-unearth.

I like the story Sis Mindy...kaso nabobore lang ako talaga haha! Pero andun yung curious ako sa kalalabasan ng story.  Kung sino ba talaga pumatay, at pano nagkaroon ng new crime na similar dun sa case nila 20yrs ago eh di ba nahuli na yung killer.  Susubaybayan ko pa rin ito yung nga lang kelangan ko ng kape! hahahah! at dapat malakas volume ng tv kase inaantok talaga ako.

Sa ngayon, focus lang ako sa The Originals and Arrow while waiting for walking dead and orphan black (sa april balik nya, hangtagal!) to resume.

^^ Nagulat rin ako seeing that kid from Percy Jackson. Ang laki laki ng boobs!  Parang na-disillusion ako bigla kasi in my mind she's just a teenager coz of her Percy Jackson gigs. But she's almost 30 in real life hahah.

^ Marami ngang daldalan ang True Detective hehe kaya nga siguro nakakaantok. Dami ngang ganun ang sinabi, parang "noir" na hindi kasi yung dating ng show. Basta may mood siya, no?

But it is heavy with tension and a lot of subtexts and symbolisms na hindi lang basta sinaksak sa kwento….meron talagang pinaghuhugutan. One thing I don't get is the show's selling point as a "different crime-drama." Although it's good, I didn't really see any difference from recent crime dramas we've been watching. Akala ko kasi total shift in format and style, tipong what "24" did for TV.

Nasa HBO Asia na pala ang True Detective. Just saw the pilot episode kagabi. Bilis rin lumabas sa cable dito ah. I was expecting a few months pa. Siguro yung Looking ganun rin in two weeks nasa cable na dito.

i really liked true detective too. matatakutin lang talaga ako. nakakatakot pa din ba second epi? pag napaaga ako nang gising bukas, baka panoorin ko.

walang may gusto ng looking? so kakausapin ko sarili ko? ang lungkot. pilitin niyong gustuhin!!! harhar joke.

yung rich kids of beverly hills, i haven't watched it kasi satisfied na naman ako sa recaps ng kevin and bean. nakakatawa yung recaps kasi lol. but those rich people are insane. natawa ako dun sa "oh my God, opening a bottle of wine is the hardest thing to do...EVER." nakakabaliw yung kuwento nila na they spend around $400k/month or year on shopping and that they don't go to clubs because "ordinary people go there." crayseeeee.

anyway, anyone looking forward to rake (greg kinnear, miranda otto)? i am.

minsan ba naiisip niyo, parang wala na kayong maisip na topic kundi tv shows? bwaha. i felt that way when i spoke to my sister and panay na lang tv shows kuwento ko

^ No scary images in the 2nd episode, as far as I can remember. Wala ring nakakagulat. Maliban sa malaking "hinaharap" ni Alexandra Daddario... totoo ba yun? And yes to your last question lol. Although online lang, for me. Mahirap na magkwento ng buhay buhay sa social media, kaya kwentong TV na lang. And yes to Rake, too! Dr. House in the making...although lawyer yata siya sa show?

Saw the pilot of Rake. Not at all like House pala. He's not grumpy nor anti-social. But he doesn't have it all together.  I want more from the show. Parang it's so generic. Will watch next episode. But it made me wanna re-watch the pilot of House tuloy, just to see why the press release says it's like House (again, not at all).

Has anyone watched Klondike starring the guy who played Robb Stark (Game of Thrones)? It started a few days ago. Just a mini-series, not a full-season series.

I have The Musketeers.  Napanood ko pa lang yung first five minutes nito tapos hininto ko muna -- my gosh!  Parang yung mga musketeers dito hindi sila honorable -- very different from the ones I knew.  I would have to finish the whole episode para malaman ko.

Watched the latest episode of Supernatural.  Nabago na naman ang story ni Cain at Abel dito LOL!

I am liking how Dracula is going.  Ang galing ng portrayal ni Jonathan Rhys Meyer as Dracula.

I have watched Black Sails na rin pala.  Intriguing ang storyline.
