Kapag travel abroad ng mag Partner, ma-suggest niyo ba ang Thailand? Hahahaha! Kase pag sinabing Thailand, more on shopping. Eh? Si Boyfriend ang kasama ko. I was thinking kung Thailand or Singapore? Help!

^ kung feel nyo ang food trip, "culture" and bargain-shopping trip, ok ang BKK. Pwede rin kayo mag-few days in Phuket if feel nyo beach (or a day or two in Pattaya).

Pero if mas gusto nyo ang "adventure" na trip, I'd say SG siguro mas ok kasi me Sentosa, me USS. Then pwede day trip to Johor. Or HK para me Disneyland, Ngong Ping, etc.

Depends talaga sa mas feel nyong type of trip.

If you want a different Bangkok experience, try staying at the The Bangkok Tree House. It's easily accessible from the airport, around 30 minutes taxi ride and a 10 minute boat ride across the Chao Phraya river. Try to stay over the weekend para you can visit the nearby floating market (less touristy). Hubby and I stayed there and we enjoyed every minute of our stay. Hi! meron bang free wifi sa Suvarnabhumi airport? will be landed there at 11:50pm, pwede kaya na magpaumaga nalang dun?

We are planning to book at My Hotel kaso pag nag check in kami kaagad charge na un as 1 night kasi wala pang cut off time na 12noon..

Any suggestion please.

^If I remember correctly one hour lang yung free wifi sa airport plus hindi rin comfortable to stay at the arrival area. You can try staying at the Novotel just across the airport (5 minutes walk via the underground connection from the arrival area). They offer 24 hours flexi-check in bale you check in any time and check-out 24 hours after.

Sis bagaholic_chewy, may idea ka paano bumalik ng pratunam area from khao san road pag evening time na? aside sa magtaxi... (Sa pratunam area yung pagstay-an namin) Nagresearch kasi ako sa internet, yung chao phraya boat operating hours until 7PM lang (orange flagged boat). Correct me if i'm wrong  pero sa nabasa ko walang BTS station na malapit sa khao san road.

^ sorry sis, I have no idea aside from taxi.. I seldom go to Khao San kasi, primarily dahil di sya ganun ka-accessible.. baka you can take bts or mrt to a station na malapit-lapit, then tsaka magtaxi. Para me konting iwas sa traffic.. As for the boats, I haven't tried taking a public boat ng gabi so I have no idea din until what time sila.. usually kasi during the day, during the temples tour lang kami nagbo-boat. Or yung sa dinner cruise na me sariling sched naman.. but i think there are boat lines that still operate beyond 7pm, but i have no particulars.. sorry can't help much..

No prob sis nagbaka-sakali lang  mag taxi na lang kami up to BTS National Stadium (yun daw ang nearest BTS station though few miles away pa din) thanks

cheapest flights from manila owuld be ceb pac diba? or are there cheaper options?

^ pag early booking during promo, yes CebuPac may be cheapest. But if no promo, sometimes I end up booking with PAL kasi mas mura (considering me baggage and food na) o di kaya e konting price difference lang. Yan pa lang 2, then Thai Airways ang nata-try ko pa-BKK from/to Manila..

Sis pag PAL ba o cebu pac sa Subarnabhumi airport din nag la landing?  May nabasa kasi ako dati na Bangkok airways tapos thai airways lang daw ang nag lalanding sa Subarnabhumi.

Kumusta na rin pala ang peace and order situation sa thailand ngayon kasi di pa parang magulo last year.

^ yes, sa Suvarnabhumi ang PAL, and I think pati CebuPac dun din. Sa Don Mueang kasi mostly domestic flights and other international flights na budget airlines. Na-try ko lang dun dati to/from Phuket..

As for peace&order, feeling ko naman ok na kasi me business trip ulit si husband dun this month. E yung company nila e di naman nagbibigay ng travel clearance pag magulo yung destination. Few months ago na kasi last punta ko dun so wala ako personal experience dun sa recent na gulo-gulo. But my friends who are based in BKK are ok naman, normal pa din naman lifestyle nila, they still go on night outs and such so I guess there is no threat of uprising na now..

1. Grand Palace 2.Siam Niramit 3.Ayutthaya 4. Chao Phraya River Cruise 5.Asiatique 6.Chatuchak

Sa mga place ba na nabanggit ko meron bang hindi allowed ang minor. May kasama kasi kaming 15 years old.

mga sis, question. what airlines ba nag cater for Bkk from Phils. aside sa Cebu Pac. How much yung budget pa punta doon,any tips?
