For those who are asking what to wear, i do not suggest thermals kasi yung binili namin na undershirt thermals di namin nagamit, tolerable ang lamig. Basta may jacket lamigin ako mga sisses pero i was able to handle naman 10C at night and early morning again mas ok ang weather ngayon kesa last year. But if the temp drops to 2C baon na ng thermal wear, kasi pag umulan or humangin tigas kayo for sure haha joke. Some ajuma and ajussi are wearing bubble jacket visit busan and jeju highly recommended.

Sis i saw a guesthouse in hongdae area in seoul parang nasa around P1k  pag 1 ka lang pero the owner offered din 58,000krw/night yung private room daw

Flying to ICN this Saturday and hoping for better weather then. I've reconfirmed the hotel, wifi egg rental,  international taxi from ICN to myeongdong, got my discount coupons and printed itineraries. Hope I've got everything covered. Will be doing some early Christmas cosmetics gifts shopping, too. Safe flights to all.

^^This would be the first time I'll be using discount coupons so I printed them out. Not sure if pwede ipakita via mobile lang. I got one for trickeye. Good for 4 na one coupon at KRW12000 instead of KRW15000 each. I also printed out for the Korean Folk Village, KEB forex, and the cosmetic shops I'll visit. Sakto cos the cosme shops are a stone's throw away from my Myeongdong hotel.

Been here in Seoul since yesterday. All of the people I encountered upon arrival, from the immigration officer in ICN to the hotel front desk staff, asked me about the state of the Philippines due to the superstorm. It's 5deg right now, colder earlier due to the wind factor always present at Gyeongbokgung. Took my parents to see the bukcheon hanok village. Now going around Lotte mall n myeongdong. People are now starting to wear thicker jackets n boots than a week or two back. No rain today. It was raining hard last night.

Galing lang ako Korean Embassy kanina. Sinubmit ko requirements ko and ng friends ko

Guys may question ako. Napansin ko yung Korean guy sa Window 1 kinikilatis din yung papeles/requirements bago talaga tanggapin. May question ako, kapag tinanggap ba nila yung requirements, ibig sabihin malaki na ang chance para makapasa and makakuha ng visa? Mahirap bang ma-approve for Korean visa ngayon or hindi naman?

^masungit talaga yung guy na yun. I almost missed my flight nung Tuesday coz of him.

Pag tinanggap, it’s not 100% sure na approved sya, as per signage sa windows sa embassy. Pero pag tourist, di naman sila mahigpit, I assume. My visa was supposed to be released on November 11 as stamped in my claim form. Pero nakuha ko sya nung November 8

It’s 3 degrees C in Anyang when I left this morning, 5 in Seoul. Pero nung dumating ako nung Tuesday, it went to as low as -1 in Gyeonggido where I stayed. Suuuper cold. I didn’t bring any thermal wear pero napilitan ako bumili. I got a pair for 5,000 KRW. Mas mura kesa sa greenhills

^^ Girl parang hindi naman mahigpit nung time that we applied for visa.  We did not even go na nga in person, same lang sa japan embassy.  Siguro mahigpit if for work yung pakay mo.

^^ Sis Alinkshel, Oo nga sis. Ang sungit nya. Sya pa lang ang nakilala kong Korean na masungit. Hehe.. Usually Korean na kakilala ko mabait. Baka nabuburyong na sya sa trabaho nya. LOL. Tourist lang naman. Kaso ang worry ko nasa working age na kasi ako. Kaka-resign ko lang kasi sa work and now I'm a graduate student. So ang inapply ko ay student visa kasi di naman ako makakakuha ng employment certificate. Kunyari sponsored ng father so nagsubmit ako ng docs ng dad ko. Kapag ganun ba mahirap ba matanggap sis? Pero I've travelled to numerous Asian countries naman (nga lang) every year for the past years.

Sis, nagsno-snow na ba dyan sa Seoul? Punta kasi namin end of November until first week of December. Kailangan na bang pang-winter ang clothes namin? Thanks sis!

hi amihan07.. if complete naman docs mo and talagang may proof ka na you'll be coming back to ph, malaking chance naman na you'll get approved. like sa previous post ko.. I just resigned lang din so i didn't submit COE and nilagay ko pa na ako magfifinance ng trip ko. nag submit lang ako other docs.
Approved naman. kakagaling ko lang last week.. nagstart na maging super lamig. nagsusuot na din kami ng gloves kapag gabi kasi minsan hindi kaya ng wala. We even bought additional trench coats, bubble jackets and boots sa myeongdong kasi hindi enough yung dala nameng panlamig.

^^don’t worry sis amihan. Sabi ko nga,I think di naman sila mahigpit sa tourist. Sadyang masungit lang talaga yung lalaki. Hehe... Dii pa nman nagssnow. Baka nga matagalan pa kasi di namn nsu-sustain yung negative temp. Tumataas pa namn til 8 degrees.

As to clothes, kinaya ko pa naman na walang bubble jacket pero most of the people especially in Anyang are already wearing that. Sa Seoul, I observed trench coats pa din. For me kasi, super lamig na ang 2 degrees kaya nagsuot ako ng thermal wear plus long sleeves then trench coat. Sa baba, thermal din tapos leggings/denims. At night and in the morning, di ko kaya na walang gloves at scarf. Feeling ko kinakagat ako ng lamig. Hehe...
