ako din parang iniisip ko ang OA ah for some who speculates this might be related to UFO. for real??  :o

there is definitely scientific explanation on how this airplane vanished into thin air, it is not just confirmed until now. malamang may speculations narin ang mga investigators pero hanggat hindi tapos and confirmed ang investigations nila they can't make an official announcement about it.

siguro with regards to believing it might be a work of God. well, some people have different beliefs about their faith so its hard to argue about it.

sis cecilydee even the officials and experts are already saying that this is something unusual... they just can't say it's supernatural because they don't want anybody criticizing them - which will sound just like what you've said - if ever they say it on the news... that's why reporters can do a lot of cover ups.. just to avoid worldwide panic. Or for their own selfish motives too, we don't really know(for example, the news that abs-cbn did to the flesh-eating disease in Pangasinan). Yeah there are lots of theories, avenues they can look at.. but don't you think they wouldn't have given it a thought days ago even before you say it now? :) They have been looking at all the aspects ever since the plane vanished and for their every single theory they can't even get an evidence... CNN and all the other known news networks may be known and have proven themselves over and over in the past but this is something we all haven't encountered since the beginning of time. Actually there's also a military plane that has suddenly vanished before(just forgot the model name and from what country) which is very similar to this case that has just vanished which if you'll look at Wikipedia, the outcome of the case is unknown because they never really found out what happened to the plane and where it went. I'll just look for it and will repost it here..

In our computer age now where technology is highly developed - with nuclear bombs being invented by any powerful countries like Iran, North Korea, Russia - computers that can be hacked right away by those who are in FBI and International Police,etc.. One official said it's hard to explain that a plane that big can be undetectable. No matter what kind of wreckage or havoc it went through.

A pilot will only send a distress signal - or any type of communication that needs to be sent - if there is any problem on the plane that is beyond his control.. of course that's their SOP. In Flight 370's case, no signal sent at all to which officials 'assumed' that there's no problem whatsoever that will make the pilot send the distress signal. Even most of them are confused already.

Look at this one latest news just about 28 minutes ago...

I don't know what minutes you're referring to, but if you did read the articles about AF447 you would know that the pilot made no distress calls. What they had were electronic messages that were automatically transmitted by the aircraft.

i stand corrected, yes that's what i meant about they were able to get signals before it vanished. and not the pilot himself. as far as i remember they were saying it's a pilot error..
and this is also correct because every plane was designed to send electronic messages of some sort in cases of any technical and mechanical error if ever the plane will disintegrate and something massive has been able to move and damage the machine that's making this huge thing fly. the pilot - if in case he wasn't able to send a signal  and the plane is about to crash - the plane itself was designed to be able to send a message or communication of some sort that it's currently experiencing fatal damage to its system. Every plane - including the Flight 370 - has been designed for that.

Quote
Also, the plane disappearing from the radar does not automatically mean na naglaho lang yung plane. This being a secondary radar, it's possible that the transponder was simply turned off, either due to equipment malfunction, fire in the cockpit, or hijacking (pilot can be ordered to manually switch it off). If the transponder is off, it can no longer be detected by secondary radar, but can still be seen by primary radar (ex. the one used by the Malaysian military na supposedly detected it headed towards Malacca but they denied this).

This is from your point of view sis... From the official's initial point of view.. the plane simply vanished as initially - and until now - it's nowhere to be found. With regard to the radar, that's what I'm talking about earlier, with all our latest technologies.. If the plane is hijacked and have landed somewhere else and have not sunk in the ocean, 1.) it should've been tracked already, 2.) somebody might be able to see it already, 3.) how many phones did they say specifically were ringing by the way? 4.) Another theory/lead - the Malacca Strait - which everyone almost thought where the plane crashed though no sign of evidence at all - has been admittedly proven a false alarm too.

I'm not thinking of any theory or conclusion regarding this other than if it's not found, it's something supernatural. Reason being?
I'm not an expert in planes and even officials can't clearly explain why a plane - big as this - can suddenly disappear. All the theories - before the satellite images - have been disputed.
Even the suspected 'terrorists' thing.

Other than that, all I can do is to pray and share what I know about the word of God..and what this kind of situation brings us.. it's like a simple tap on the back that maybe it's time for us to reflect on ourselves too.. :)

God bless us all... :)

^^ This is not my "point of view". It's a fact: when a plane's transponder is off - and it can be turned off - it is undetectable by secondary radar, i.e. it "disappears" from the screen. That doesn't mean it's gone, it just means the transponder is off. Hindi ko yan inimbento, I just cared enough to understand how the equipment worked before jumping to conclusions.

And the phones ringing, ang dami nang nagpaliwanag nito. A ringing phone does not mean na connection with the end user is established, especially for phones that were abruptly turned off or left the coverage area. When a system is trying to look for the phone, it sometimes plays a ringback so there won't be dead silence on the other line.

everything is possible na with what's happening on this world..and wala naman sigurong masama kung if they'll dig into it.Let's admit it, there are a lot of things that Science can't explain, right?

In the case of the French airliner, the flight went through a thunderstorm which affected the controls. The weather was absolutely clear in the flight path of the Malaysian airliner.

One flight, somehow the same with the Malaysian airlines is Star Dust aircraft, which vanished in a snowstorm over the Andes Mountains on August 2 1947. they based it thru the last broadcasted message by the Pilot..guest what? the word STENDEC..which they assumed that it's an alien language...hmm :-\

Sis don't get me wrong, what I meant from 'your point of view' was that the plane disappeared out of radar because of technical malfunction just like what you've all explained. But the way the officials and experts view it, who were investigating on the situation by the way, the plane itself since the time it disappeared - along with radar - simply vanished. Basahin yung mga unang reports, they saw it as the plane vanished suddenly before they started to consider some theories.
Please don't get me wrong, I know what you're saying are all facts. I've read everything you said.

And sis simplykristine08, i think sinagot na ni sis littlemissbiatch yung question mo sa post nyang ito(see below)...

As for me naman, this is yet another mark down to our ultra-modern, state of the art facilities that this world has ever invented. :-\

:) however tama si sis lovemeagain30, it's something that they have never resolved.

everything is possible na with what's happening on this world..and wala naman sigurong masama kung if they'll dig into it.Let's admit it, there are a lot of things that Science can't explain, right?

Correct. And wala ring mawawala if they acknowledge it... because they can't even explain the whole situation regardless of how high their rank is as an officer, regardless of how intelligent they all are, regardless of what they all know about scientific explanations and how to conduct proper investigations, there's still no concrete answer.
Mabuti sana kung merong clue, or some marks of evidence, ito, wala talaga.

Let's look at this one quote from CNN:

Quote
Malaysian authorities believe they have several "pings" from the airliner's service data system, known as ACARS, transmitted to satellites in the four to five hours after the last transponder signal, suggesting the plane flew to the Indian Ocean, a senior U.S. official told CNN. That information combined with known radar data and knowledge of fuel range leads officials to believe the plane may have made it to that ocean, which is in the opposite direction of the plane's original route.

I'm excited to see their results in searching within the depths of the Indian Ocean, which is, as well know, the world's third largest ocean..

Yes, there are really a lot, and countless number of things the science can't explain....
but the Bible and of course, the Lord our God only can. We should just have faith in Him. :)

(pa-OT lang ng konti ha) ;D Read the book, BOOK OF ANSWERS by Ken Ham. :)

Ok going back, for the latest update from CNN just about 3 hrs ago...

http://www.cnn.com/2014/03/13/world/asia/malaysia-airlines-plane/

uh-oh... seems more conflicting information are arising... tsk tsk tsk...
kanya-kanya na silang theory, but the main concern hasn't been solved yet. Where is the plane? Wala silang lead.

and here's another one just about an hour ago...

http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/world-news/missing-malaysia-airlines-flight-live-3235735

and regarding this news, now this is what you really call, concluding.

Right upfront they've claimed that it's 'probably' the missing plane, but then again, it's not.

We can all think that there are lots of avenues, opportunities to look at, pero sa limited na knowledge nating ito, partida hindi pa tayo experts sa ganyang kaalaman, we're only relying everything based on what we've read, what we've studied, unless you're a pilot who've flew a plane that far, then maybe you can contribute some accurate points, pero kung tayo lang na ordinaryong mamayan na limitado ang kaalaman, ano pa kayang maiisip natin na hindi pa naiisip ng mga eksperto at mga opisyal sa sitwasyon na ito???

^ oo nga sis.. yet pakistan nor india(countries that are part for the search mission already) was able to confirm that they have not found in their radars the said plane.... :(

here's the latest update from CNN:

http://www.cnn.com/2014/03/16/world/asia/malaysia-airlines-plane/

I pray in the end that we'll have a closure for this... Only God knows what is really happening and why He is allowing these things to happen...

And again, for some good-to-know facts we need to know regarding the missing plane...

There were talks that how come malaysia did not report before hand that the plane changed route when all helping countries were scouring south china seas?  Also the fact that when the plane changed route going south, malaysia did not even notified authorities about a foreign aircraft hovering their airspace.

http://www.theguardian.com/world/2014/mar/17/questions-unanswered-missing-plane-mh370

Another speculation was the cargo inside the aircraft:

If ever this is true, I'm wondering what will they(hijackers) gain in doing so.

maybe they just don't really know what to do?

Yao Shujie, the head of the School of Contemporary Chinese Studies at the University of Nottingham, wrote in an op-ed in China's state-run Global Times newspaper that Malaysia “has lost authority and credibility'' due to its chaotic response.
“The lack of national strength and experience in dealing with incidents has left the Malaysian government helpless and exhausted by denying all kinds of rumors,'' Yao wrote.

now for the latest update just about an hour ago...

http://www.dallasnews.com/news/local-news/20140317-new-uncertainty-about-missing-malaysian-plane.ece

Quote
French investigators arriving in Kuala Lumpur to lend expertise from the two-year search for an Air France jet that crashed in the Atlantic Ocean in 2009 said they were able to rely on distress signals. But that vital tool is missing in the Malaysia Airlines mystery because the flight's communications were deliberately silenced ahead of its disappearance, investigators say.

"It's very different from the Air France case. The Malaysian situation is much more difficult," said Jean Paul Troadec, a special adviser to France's aviation accident investigation bureau.

The search involves 26 countries and initially focused on seas on either side of Peninsular Malaysia, in the South China Sea and the Strait of Malacca.

wondering what's the next theory they'll come up with....

Sa akin naman, I don't think it's really a supernatural/sudden disappearance. It's just that the authorities are withholding information from the general public. Mala news blackout na din. Whatever is the real case, I believe some high-level Malaysian officials really know more than what they're leading the public to believe.
