@pretty_B, I made a mock booking for your flight times. Yung papunta mo is using an A319 while pabalik is A320. Slightly smaller (in terms of seats and power) yung A319 kaya medyo mahaba yung flight time mo.

@Kristalle, if you are on the booking page merong airplane icon on the left side ng flight number. Tapos yung legend nasa ibaba ng flight details indicating if the flight is operated by Cebu Pacific or Tigerair. Yung yellow-colored aircraft icon is Cebu Pacific while the blue-colored icon is Tigerair naman. So sa initial booking malalaman mo na if you're booking CebuPac or Tigerair.

Sis, until I get to the inputting of my cc details (this is like step 4-5 na, sa haba ng way to book) wala pa ding info if tiger or cebupac. In fact, sa flight numbers when chosing what flight to take e 5J ang nakalagay na flight details (I decided to book 5J lang uli this month, the last time I booked a 5J was in 2011 pa so nanibago ako sa magulo nilang online booking site, daming "bait" to avail of so and so).

Wala naman akong idea sa colors na yellow and blue is for this or that din. Wala din akong idea na nabili na pala ng CebuPac and Tiger which I don't regard highly of as an airline. Anyway, andito na to, nakapag book na ko. Warning to ko na alng sa iba na meron silang Tiger Air flights pala. Kala ko kasi, merong hiwalay na Tiger air website if I want to ride a Tiger. I was hoping CebuPac kasi when I went to book in the Cebupac website.

^Yup, this year lang na-acquire ng CebPac ang Tigerair Phils. Although both airlines still maintain separate websites you can already access both CebuPac and Tigerair flights on each website.

It's a bit technical but just to explain the booking process (this is true for all airlines with interline agreements). Kung saan website ka nag-book it will always give you the code of the airline of that website. In your case it will give the 5J designation since you booked with CebuPac website. But there will always be a note/info/legend stating kung anong airline ang mag-ooperate ng eroplano. In your case again, it will be Tigerair.

As I've said earlier when you're on the initial booking process bale step 2 pa lang when all the flights are displayed for you to choose from, there are colored icons on the left side of the flight numbers tapos yung legend nya is immediately below all the flights details "Flight Operated by: etc."

***Just to amend this aside from the colored aircraft icons the two-letter code of the airlines are also indicated right before the flight number. DG for Tigerair and 5J for CebuPac***

I think your confusion stems from how the details were presented in the website. Meron din kasing airline website where immediately below or at the side ng flight number meron nakasulat mismo kung anong airline ang mag-ooperate. In CebuPac's case they opted to use colorful aircraft icons with legend instead of plain words.


On a side note: for those traveling to Boracay, both CebPac and Tigerair are offering seamless transfer from either Kalibo or Caticlan all the way to your hotel. The transfer service is provided by Southwest Tours. Here's the link to the news.

SIS mama squeak pasali ha pag sinabi "operated by" yun ba yung plane na sasakyan mo? kasi cathay pacific kami nag pabook pero may nakalagay operated by qatar airways so qatar airways sasakyan namin? sorry walang alam ako.. hehee. thanks!

^Yup, exactly. Naka-interline agreement silang dalawa so even though CX (Cathay Pacific) yung flight number nyo yung eroplanong sasakyan nyo will be QR (Qatar Airways).

Question on transfer service in Boracay, if you do it on your own instead of getting from them, is there a big difference in the price?

^ sis how much ba yung sa cebupac service? kasi Southwest din naman yung contact nila dun, Php 990 yung roundtrip airport-hotel-airport kapag nagbook ka sa kanila direct online. kasama na fees dun.

kapag DIY naman, mas mura ng onti. mga more or less 200. usually kasi van sinasakyan sa DIY kaya hindi convenient if may kids.

I made a mock booking for the transfer fee and KLO is Php900/RT while Caticlan is Php700/RT including na environmental and terminal fees.

Guys, pa-help pls? Nakapag book ako ng 1-way tic (1 fare) going to Vietnam for march 2015. We're four pax. Last night ko lang naalala, married na pala isa namin kasama and unfortunately maiden name nya ang napa-book ko at wala pa din sya passport, kukuha pa lang sya next month. Pano kaya yon guys? pede kayang iconsider ng cebupac na iba ang last name sa ticket at sa passport? or worst kelangan magpa change name. hay!  I'll appreciate your input guys. TIA

^Call CebPac and tell them na you booked the ticket under your friend's maiden name but she will be using her married name by the time she'll travel next year using a new passport (I assume she has an old one?).

One and the same person naman yung mayari ng ticket, nagdagdag lang sya ng apelyido ng husband nya. I don't think it's going to be a big issue. Bring na rin supporting docs like IDs under her maiden name, marriage certificate (kung saan naka-indicate yung maiden name nya), etc. na will prove na one and the same person lang sya.

Talaga? Thanks Aranses & mama squeak! Iniisip ko kasi promo fares lang ito baka may charged if magpa changed name (kung meron man ako magbabayad dahil ako ang nagbooked). Hi sis!

Magpamember ka sa cebu pacific. Punta ka lang sa website nila and night (like 11:30 pm) before holiday, try to check their site. For sure may promo yan.

Supposedly flight ko tom to SG kaso la budget. 1 week kasi ako dun with my friends. Next time na lang pag may budget na. I was there naman last year. First time sana ng dalawa kong kasama. Ayoko naman tumuloy tas utang ipangagastos ko dun. Haha! Btw, i got the ticket November last year for 3.5k RT alone during the piso fare, no baggage and any other add-ons.
