uso na ba ngayon for banks to send 2 credit cards? i got 2 cards from citibank when i applied, pero shared credit limit. then nung isang araw may dumating na metrobank ON card, tapos ngayon naman metrobank gold.

for citi, i applied talaga kasi no annual fee for life. for metrobank, wala akong matandaan na nag-apply ako. and wala man lang tumawag sakin to confirm my personal details. nakareceive lang ako ng text saying na-approve na application ko. i thought it was an error. pero after a few days halos magkasunod dineliver yung 2 cards.

Sis, the other card is for your online shopping.

^^ naku sis, inde ako big time. pero good payer :) i always pay in full and on time. nagulat lang ako ng magkasunod na dinilever ng 2 cards, eh di naman ako nag-apply. pero pinaalala sakin ni hubby, dati nung nag-apply ako sa bpi, yung agent also carries metrobank credit card. so baka inapply nya din ako sa metrobank? pwede ba yun without my signature? tsaka that's almost a year ago na.

i don't like having many credit cards kasi ayokong magbayad ng annual fee, kaya 2 lang yung itinira ko na may annual fee. then yung citi na wala namang annual fee.

^ thanks sis. ok sana yung concept, pero bihira din ako mag-online shopping and i usually use paypal. baka ipa-cut ko na lang both since may parehong may annual fee.

^ huwag mo muna pa-cut. My suggestion is that you wait until they charge you for the annual fee then request mo na pa-reverse then pag hindi pumayag pa-cut mo.

^ if the question of owned or rented does not need mandatory answer, i suggest you skip or leave it blank. Putting untrue answer can be constituted as a fraud (fine print - terms and condition that you signed). Just be careful with it. I don't think putting in "rented" is that big of an impact. Through the years of the cards I had applied personally I put under my residence as rented, and all are approved without any problem. Better to be on the safe side.

^ fraud in this case is by providing false information. Information enter during the time of submission. So if you are renting and you indicate it as owned then that is falsification of data, which in turns constitute to fraud.  It is clearly stated on the application form wherein you affix your signature that all information you enter should be accurate and true.

This is for application process, non-payment, that's a different issue.

^ my original reply was to pretty_B about her asking about billing address and disclosing about if its residence is rented or owned. Never was there discussion about non-payment in the first place, hence i didn't even discuss about that in the first place and why said that was a different issue in my last reply.

I'm just telling pretty_B about the probable legal impact of it. Sure, you can put false data, and agent encourage that of course, but at the end of the day if you know putting false data and the very fact you know that it is wrong and yet do it, then that says a lot about you.

Its almost the same, they are both mode of payment. The only difference lang is the issuing bank. Each bank kasi have different interest rate, balance rate etc.  :)

^ di naman kailangan sis, pero mas madali ma-approve pag may existing cc ka na. okay lang din mag-apply sa tabi-tabi. once or twice lang naman sila tatawag, to verify your information or ask for documents (like proof of income kung kinakailangan). yung 2 cc ko sa tabi-tabi lang din ako nag-apply :)

same thing happened to me, metrobank naman. may existing bank account ka ba sa bdo? that could a reason why you've been preapproved for a cc.

i think sis it would help agad na maapprove kung meron ka na. may BPI na kasi ako when i got my citibank eh. chaka ask nila agad sa kin nun kung may 1 year na ba yung CC ko bago nila ako pinapirma sa form.
