Hi! I'm new here. I just want to ask kung gaano katagal ang processing ng credit card application for BDO?

First week of October someone called me to verify my information then I checked BDO's website nakalagay dun na date of application was Oct.9 then last Monday may tumawag na naman girl to verify again kasi hindi daw sila associated dun sa unang tumawag sa akin. Then until now status ng application ko sa website ng BDO ay PENDING.   How long will I wait to know the result of my application?

Before when i was still a kid, nobody was offering me to open a credit card account.  But when I started to open a savings account at a certain bank.  Different Credit card companies started offering me credit cards.  I dont know how they got my contact details but they always get my contact details somewhere.

Good day guys, share ko lang po, last October 3, may tumawag sakin from BPI daw, and she was telling me that I am entitled to have BPI Blue Master Credit Card, and askng me if I want to accept the offer, then I said Yes! (If ever this is my very first cc in my whole life ever!Matagal ko na pong winiwish magkacredit card kaso wala akong kahit isang docs na ipapasa since alotee lang naman ako,I am receiving remittance from abroad yun lang period and laging simot ang account ko sa BPI kasi sa BDO po talaga ang savings namin.pang remitance lang ang BPI acct ko.) then the caller asked some questions regarding to my personal infos. Tapos I asked magkano credit limit nun, and she said P40000. And kunwari wala lang sakin,pero sa loob loob ko grabe prang jackpot ako,sobrang lucky! Then free nga daw ang annual fee ko for first year. And expect daw ako na idedeliver ang CC ko after 15 to 20 business days and she gave me reference number pag magpa follow up daw ako.. Sana nga true ito...

Question, sa lahat po ba ng pre approved cc, right after ng call, mga ilang days po ba dumating ang CC nyo? Sobrang excited ako baka 1 week lang dumating na, hahaha! Ang saya lang!

Hi sis , Ask ko lang kung dumating na ba un credit card mo ? Kase may tumawag din sa akin and pre-approved daw ako then i got a text message from BPI na approved na ako & wait for my cc delivery . I logged in sa express online and andun na yung cc details ko .

Last Saturday pinadalhan ako ng BDO, bagong credit card. Blue AMEX CC. Hindi ko alam if eto yung replacement ng mag-expire kong CC sa May, 2014. May nakagamit na ba ng AMEX cards dito? Clueless kasi ako sa mga pwedeng advantages nya to me. Ang tanging nababasa ko is to spent a minimum amount of Php10K per month para ma-qualify for waive annual fees. Try ko nga i-review yung mga billing statements ko if umaabot ba ako ng Php10K per month. Usually groceries ko lang sya ginagamit or kapag may reregaluhan na ikakasal, binyag, birthday ng inaanak, atbp na needs ko.

kung sa secured CC.. anong CC ang maganda kunin?

^ ang alam ko sis kahit anong secured cc pwede naman mag-installment basta allowed nung merchant.

alala ko noon, si mother ko nagkaroon ng bpi worth 60k credit.. although di sya nag apply pero pinadalhan sya.. siguro dahil sa TD niya sa BPI.. hindi na sya working nung time na nabigyan sya ng CC.. kaso nga lang nacut dahil nadelay yung bayad namen.

So naisip ko... maglagay kasi ako ng TD baka sakali tawagan ako at ma pre-approved yung CC hehe.

Pina-cancel ko na yung AMEX card ko na recently ko nareceive and I told the customer service kung pwede mag-apply for a VISA card dahil ma-expire na mastercard ko next May 2014. She told me I need to pay Php500. Ayaw ko nga! Php500 din yun, mapapagastos pa ako. I told her if I'm entitled to receive the VISA card and she just told me again to pay the Php500 fee. Bwisit lang. Di ko na pinush.

Anybody here who experienced the same thing? Or you're able to change your card into VISA without paying any fees?

^hi po, I received Blue AMEX last week din po.

Actually, I received 2 cards last month. Una is yung new ShopMore card with long expiration period and new look. 

Then 2nd one is this Blue AMEX card which according to their letter it will share the credit limit of my existing BDO Credit Card.  hmm... so far di ko pa nagagamit yung card. iniisip ko pa kung anong gagawin.

matagal ang mga TD sis hindi mo sya mawiwithdraw as it kapag nangailangan ka, may certain charges sya so be sure about it.

to relate, my ninang placed TD in BDO im not sure how much it is but she was issued a BDO Platinum Card with 500k limit

and once magka-credit card ka at maganda ang record mo everyone will try to issue you one, nagsimula lang ako sa BPI nun at 18y/o after 3-4yrs i've got 4 more at tinanggihan ko na yung iba pa.

Hi sissies! Question lang, can I pay someone's credit card billing without the statement, like go sa bank lang and mag deposit ng money? My dad lent me his metrobank cc and gave me a limit lang with what I can buy online. I kind of overspent, so I want to pay yung nasobrahan kong binili para mabawas sa total billing, well, without him knowing... Pwede kaya yun?

^pwede sis just get the card number pero pag nireview nya yung statement lalabas padin lahat.

if you pay BEFORE cut off date mababawas na yung ibabayad mo pero if AFTER sa susunod na statement na magrereflect. (so from total bill LESS yung naunang bayad mo)

let me add also KNOW the EXACT limit of the card pag kasi lumampas nagchacharge ang metrobank ng 500. hindi sya magdedecline, mautak ang metrobank

(example: my card is 50,000 if MAX na yung amout and say i still used it for 1,000 so total bill is 51,500 - magpaplus na yung 500 and mahirap i-waive to)

^ Oh okay thanks sis! Glad to know naman.. And mukang hindi pa na-reach yung limit.. Punta nalang siguro ako sa bank and pwede na rin ba dun mismo tignan yung statement? Pano yun so less na sa total pag dumating yung billing pero nandon parin naka-state yung purchases, ganun ba?

^oopsie you can't view the statement in the bank… (you should have taken note the excess amount.. pwede naman estimate mo nalang anyway may iba ka pa namang isesettle na amount db?)

yes mababawas na sa total yung ibabayad mo basta makapasok sya BEFORE cut of date. (so yeah alam mo dapat yung cut-of date ng dad mo) and yes lalabas pa din dun lahat ng transactions.

if hindi mo alam ang cut of nya just get any past statement nakasulat naman dun yung date under "statement date"

Ohh! Haha got it sis, sorry di kasi ako madalas magtransact sa bank palagi lang pinapaayos. haha. Anyway, noted na lahat ng purchases ko, nasa akin naman lahat ng receipts.

And mukang yung cut off date is sa january pa. Yun nga lang kasi di nya na din daw papahintay yung cut off kasi he wants to pay everything daw before the year ends kaya kinailangan ko talaga alamin lahat lahat. hehe.

Pupunta nalang ako sa bank this week.. Prepare ko money then number nung card. Ganun lang ba? Sorry dami tanong.

Yes sis just get the card number ng dad mo.

Pagpunta mo Metrobank the guard inside gives queue number, ask him nadin for which slip ang ginagamit for CC payment tapos un na fill in na and pay.

mga sis help naman... Kase pina-cancel ko through online banking yong BPI credit card ko.. Then sabi sa prompt message, it will take 4 days daw to take effect yong request. Does that mean na-ma-cancel na siya even if wala ako nareceive na message or eemail sa kanila?

BTW wala ako outstanding balance whatsoever. I just wanted to cancel it since parang hindi ko namn siya need eh.. Thank you sa sasagot ;-)
