Ang hirap mag IF this Christmas season!

Nag IF ako for 3 weeks and I noticed that my period got delayed for a few days, which never happens to me. Laging on the dot ang period ko. I wonder if it's caused by IF? Anybody have an idea?

Hi guys!

Anyone still doing IF? In the U.S., every other day daw and IF nila. But this article says another thing:

https://www.nytimes.com/2017/05/03/well/eat/fasting-offers-no-special-weight-loss-benefits.html

What's your take on it? In my opinion, I'd still do IF, maybe not consistently but I'm still doing it.

^ what time did you stop eating sis?  I stop after dinner or 8-ish then I count 16 hours after that. Usually around 12 noon, I can eat my first meal

Naging 50.3kg ang scale reading ko for 2days probably due to retained water..so i avoided salty and sweets then same 14hrs IF...then this morning balik 49.3kg na ulit ako..yey! :)

Hi sisses, I am here again for my weight loss battle :

1st day I started my last meal for dinner was at 9PM, then next food intake the following day is 12NN, so there is a difference of 17hrs fasting

2nd day my last meal was at 8PM, then 12NN again for the first meal the following day

3rd day my last meal was at 7PM, then 12NN again for the first meal the following day

In between I can still eat anything like chips and chocolate with moderation meron pa kasi akong separation anxiety with these two so hindi ko pa natatanggal sa system ko but eventually tatanggalin ko din yan promise.

Then what I take from 8AM-12NN is water and green tea, un lang muna

Then still no rice and soft drinks (already for 7 years) then work out in the morning.

Wala pa rin pag babago eventually when I see changes mas ma momotivate ako then tuluyan ko na matatanggal ang chips and chocolate.

I currently weight : 56Kls (123.2lbs) 5'1"

^sis i suggest alisin mo yung chips and chocolate during fastin period. Maybe that's one of the reasons why wala ka pa makitang pagbabago..  You're not suppose to eat anything during fasting..But you may drink water, tea or plain water basta below 50 cal. Pede mo idilute ang 1/2 sachet ng 3in1 coffee. O kaya isang piraso ng bread pan biscuit. Then inom ka dami tubig. Masasanay din tyan mo. :)

if you are eating anything during the supposed fasting period that is not called fasting sisses.

kahit hindi big meal hindi pa din pwede. When i do my IF black coffee, 0 calories BCAA, water and tea lang pwede mong itake.

^Some diet gurus claims that we can consume not more than 50cal of solid or liquid food and still remain in fasting state.. :)

Though i dont apply it regularly to my own regimen, nagawa ko yan minsan and still got results nun nag-2MAD-IF experiment ako. I diluted half sachet of 3in1 coffee (100cal if 1sachet) to tame my hunger pangs at night..Yun nga lang grabe ang stimulation, hyper ako at di mapakali. Kaya hininto ko agad on 4th day.. I weighed 48.6kg as end result. :)

Anyways, it doesnt matter whether we're strict to the rules of IF or not.

Madalas, sa gabi na, pag-uwi from work, that time lang ako nakakakain.  Cotrolled ko na ngayon.  Ayoko mag-overeating.  I've lost 9 lbs in 2 weeks and I would like to keep that trend.

gusto ko i-try to kaso weekends ko lang kaya gawin. my plan is today, friday, kain ako till 9pm, next meal ko tomorrow, saturday will be after 12nn na. so that's 15 hrs of fasting. then saturday, kain till 9 pm tapos next kain is after 12nn ng sunday.
tapos exercise din sa gabi mga 1 hour.
do you think my plan would work for weight loss?

^yes sis! :)

But if you are following the 5:2 protocol (5days normal eating, 2 days fasting), you have to limit your food consumption to 500cal during fasting days. So kung ngayon ka magstart, mayang 9pm last meal mo, then 12noon bukas ka ulit kakain, on your feeding window of 9hrs, 500cals lang ang kakainin mo (ang onti no?)..then on your 2nd fasting day, ganun ulit...hanggang matapos ang fasting days mo, back to normal eating ka na for 5 days. :)

But IMO, as a beginner, wag mo pwersahin na mag-500cal during  your fasting days' feeding period kung di mo kaya. Siguro 1200-1500cal on your feeding period pede na yun. Then saka mo gawing 500cal pag nakaadjust ka na . :)

Will surely try this on Monday. But paki-enlighten naman po ako hehe.
For example: Last meal ko is 10PM ng Monday then the next day 2PM ng Tuesday ako kakain up until 10PM ulit, ganun ba? Then fasting again From 10PM hanggang Wenesday 2PM?

How about sa time ng meal ko after fasting kahit ano ba pwede ko kainin? TIA! ;)

Sis I suggest you need to make your dinner earlier kasi once you sleep hirap din ang metabolism mag digest ng food as much as you are awake.

For the food mas encouraged ang eating in moderation without sweets and chips para mas makita ang result.

Hindi din ito advisable sa mahina ang sikmura..

Okay, I will make my last meal as early :) Dun sa time na pwede na ko kumaen, pwede naman mag rice, basta in moderation? Pero tama ba yung bilang ko sa time ko?
