^sis hindi na kami aabot sa seminar. pareho kami overseas saktong ika 10th day namin sa pinas kasal na namin. kaya nag hahanap talaga ko ng option kung pwede maka lusot na hindi na kami attend ng seminar.

same problem sis... 13 days before the wedding ang kasal namin ni h2b... so naghahanap talaga ako ng option na maexpedite ang ML na yan

^hay naku sis naloloka ako. haha! bakit kasi hindi pwede gawin kahit san yung seminar, like yung sa mga overseas bakit hindi pwede gawin sa embassy tapos bigyan nila ng clearance at yun ang ibigay sa city hall para makapag issue ng ML. yung manila civil wedding alam ko nag aayos sila ng mga ganitong case pero hindi na namin ma contact. wala pa nag rereply sa email.

ah ok,.. sana makahanap kayo ng fixer,.. wala naman kasi yatang legal way para makakuha kayo ng ML without attending their required seminars.

ayy sis ako din n ag try na jan sa manila civil wedding pero hanggang ngayon walang reply sa email mga 2 months ago pa ko nag email.

^mukhang wala na nga sila sis... kasi yung FB page nila last July pa ang huling update... natuwa pa naman ako dun sa kinasal sa yacht sa manila bay nung nakita ko mga pics...

^same here sis sana magawan ng paraan ng dad ko sa municipality namin. pag hindi mag try kami sa manila city hall.

^ sis if you dont mind living in together ba kayo ni h2b??? kasi kung ganun magpa-affidavit nalang kayo of living together.. kuha lang ng CENOMAR tapos affidavit, tapos. di na kailangan ng seminar.
basta magka-live in kayo for 5 years and up pwede na. address lang dito sa pinas ang kelangan.. yan another option mo if talagang kelangan mo na...

Mga beautiful sis! Tanong, our venue is in Quezon City. My fiance is QC registered voter ako naman, Makati. If we get our marriage licence in Manila. Is that OK? Valid ba yun? Thank you

^either makati or QC lang pwede sis. kelangan kasi kung saan residente ang isa sa inyo e.

question mga sis, pareho kaming hindi registered voter ni h2b. kailangan ba namin ng residence certificate para maka apply na marriage license? or pwede na kaya any ID like drivers license? TIA!

^ hi sis, barangay clearance naman ang requirement samin. baka yun pwede na senyo. sa parañaque naman kami.

^ lam ko sis madali lang e, need mo lang 1x1 photo, apply sa barangay tapos papirmahan ata sa presidente ng homeowners association / village niyo. well, not sure kung san ka nakatira pero yan ang sistema samin.

I would like to share our horror story with applying for a marriage license in manila city hall. Sana it'll help anyone planning to get married.

We want civil wedding lang. Hubby and i went to manila city hall to inquire nun april. So from the info desk, kasabwat na nila yun mga city hall employees, pinasama kami sa isang room sa 2nd floor. Sinisingil na kami agad 7k daw, lahat daw they'll process. Sympre super sales talk yun babae...reverend daw sya. Medyo nagduda na kami but since we don't live in manila anymore and we have work, sobrang hassle to process our marriage license and go thru the process, so nakipagtawaran na kami. got it down to 4K coz hubby's nationality is foreign, may additional docs pa daw needed. Sabi nya kung both filipino, we can haggle down to 2.5k. She asked what date and time ng marriage we like. She assured us again na there'll be no problem na, pick up na lang after 10 days.

I texted her after 2 weeks, sabi next week pa... We got so busy, so i asked my assistant to pick up the docs na lang and june na yun. Pagdating dun nun tao ko, tumawag ... the reverend is asking for additional 2k daw para i-release yun docs namin. Pauso na yun reverend ng reason, kasi pumila pa daw sa embassy yun tao nya and may fee daw the cert of singleness ni hubby. First of all, wrong embassy and more importantly wala naman ako pinakita na passport to apply nun cert na yun. I asked hubby to talk to her, she agreed that she'll release the docs na to my asst and we just remit the money to her thru cebuana or lbc ata. When i saw the foreign cenomar, it was so fake. Mali din kaya yun address nun embassy plus bigla nagkaroon ng hocus pocus na passport number si hubby. Then to my horror yun ni request namin marriage date hindi sinunod, death anniv ng mother-in-law ko ang date. Hindi nya kami ni consult with and alam nya we were very specific with the date. Of course, we didn't pay her na and she texted my asst 2 times ata after wala na.

The marriage license looks legit but the marriage cert. looks fake, so i went to manila civil registry to verify. Hay naku! It was submitted na, we are legally married na and can't bawi anymore coz May pa yun and they forwarded to nso already. Sungit pa nun mga tao dun sa lcr. I was super hoping na hindi pa ni-file nun fixer coz of the date. Ganun din yun mga nakita ko na marriage cert. that the other fixers were submitting, lahat naka-liquid yun mga dates.

At the end, hubby and i decided to get a proper civil wedding at another municipality although most likely void na yun. We got married by a judge with a proper ceremony on our chosen date. Sobrang like ko yun simple wedding namin. Planned everything in less than 2 weeks... Sched with the judge, booked the dinner with family and close friends, bought my white formal cocktail dress and a suit for hubby (buti dami sale sa mall) and cheap wedding rings and i didn't forget my mini bouquet. We got to exchange vows and ring pa talaga. I thought sign-sign lang pag sa judge.  ps. I only paid 300 for the solemnizing fee... Free daw to get married in court.  Sorry super long post sana it's helpful.

Hi question,

One of the requirements for the Marriage License is the Parents Advice if the Applicants between 21-25 years old, I'll be turning 26 on October, Our wedding is on November, I'll be 26 by then. Do I still need to submit the Parents Advice?

omg sis care+bear! pwede ba silang ireklamo sa ginawa nila? do you know their names? parang natakot naman ako mag apply sa manila city hall. dun pa naman namin balak kasi taga manila si h2b.. dun nalang kaya kami sa amin sa las pinas city hall.. hmmm

^^yes sis pinkiss. kailangan mo pa din magsubmit ng parental advice. age as of the application date kasi ang basis. anyway, the advice form will be given to you upon application ng ML, all you have to do is papirmahan sa parents mo.
