I only clean my daughter's ears with cotton buds twice a week. I wash the external part kase during bath time.

@m_lim, I use cotton buds to clean my kids' ears only every other week.  The pedia-ENT actually discouraged us from using buds to clean ears as it would do more harm than good.  The ears are self-cleaning and the earwax actually protects ears from dust and microbes.  Thus, it is not good to take out the wax completely often.

once a day ko lang din pinapaliguan si baby lalo na malamig na winter na kasi tapos before bedtime is punas na lang. I brush her teeth twice a day, during her bath time and before going to bed. Pahirapan nga lang now lalo na noong nag to tooth gel na sya kasi sinisipsip nya. My baby is 1 yr 6 mos. pala. Ang problem ko kay baby is super kapal ng buhok and super unruly ng hair nya. Hindi naman sya kulot pero may pagka wavy sa dulo ang buhok nya mana sa ama tapos mana sa akin naman sa kapal. Kapag hapon na ang kalat na ng buhok nya. Naghahanap ako ng mag ma manage sa hair nya. We tried Mustela, JnJ, Lactacyd, Atopita at nakalimutan ko iyong brand na gamit nya now may conditioning chuva raw. May ma rerecommend ba kayo? With regards to cotton buds noong mga around 3 mos. to 1 year si baby halos everyday kong nililinis ang ears nya pero sa labas lang hindi ko pinapasok now what I do is sinisilip ko na lang ang ears nya kung madumi. I wash it rin naman kapag pinapaliguan ko sya. I clean it parang once a week na lang. Weird nga kami ni hubby kasi noong bagong panganak si baby may hindi kanais nais na amoy ang neck nya tapos now hinahanap hanap namin iyong amoy na iyon. Hehe...

^natawa ako sis dun sa amoy ng neck, baby ko kasi medyo maasim ang neck minsan pero gustong gusto inaamoy ng hubby ko pati mga lolo at lola ni baby hehe..

Hi to all mommies here. Is it really hygienic to use powder sa kids na mabilis pawisan? Or dapat bang iwasan yun?

Yung daughter ko din before ang asim ng kili kili pagdating ng hapon 

I didn't use powder a lot when she was a baby cos of the "dust", my allergic rhinitis/asthma kasi kami ng Papa nya and its very possible that she might inherit that so para hindi magtrigger, halos hindi ko sya ginamitan nun.

But I used Bench baby cologne on her clothes + ulo nya,  talagang all day presko ang scent, wag lang itaas ang kili kili. Dampi lang Mommy, hindi yun parang pinaliguan ng pabango. Lagay ko lang sya sa kamay ko then let it dry a little tapos punas ko sa damit nya. I used the Cotton Candy variety. Kada palit ng damit, make sure napunasan lahat from head to toe pati mga singit singit.

Her soap is Johnson's Shower gel na blue, sometimes yung head to toe wash mismo.

^I used Sansfluo on my daughter until 1.5 years. After that, I switched na to Colgate for kids. The fluoride is important kase.

I use Red Seal toothpaste, Sulfate and Paraben free for my daughter who is less than 2 years old.

^ I still use sansfluo but recently bought some colgate for kids. Will use that na after this tube. I brush my baby's teeth twice a day, once in the morning, once in the evening.  she's 2.

sansfluo. shifted to aquafresh milk when he turned 19 months. sanay na kasi sya magspit by that time.
