disadvantage pag may gathering and if ikaw lang ang single. pinag pipistahan kang pinag usapan.

masaya naman pero di mawawala yung feeling na nakakamiss din ng may naglalambing sayo. yung masayang feeling is yung madami kang time para sa sarili and also sa family. and di ka masyadong nagiisip sa mga obligations mo as a GF. ang iniisip mo lang sarili mo, school or work, family, friends.

;D I think it's time to share it with someone else. ;D

guilty ako dito. hahaha. nung single pa ako, i always post status in fb how happy i am of being single and free blah blah blah even though deep inside I know i am not. tama, defense mechanism. i don't want to look kawawa lalo na't fb friends ko yung mga relatives ni ex. until one day, i stopped posting those kind of stuff. i realized that i can fool others but i can never fool myself. tinanggap ko sa sarili ko kung ano ang totoo kong nararamdaman: MASARAP MAGING SINGLE PERO HINDI MASAYA

MASARAP MAGING SINGLE PERO HINDI MASAYA

Couldn't agree more. Yes, you can enjoy the company of your family and friends pero at the end of the day you'll need someone na makakusap at magtatanong if how's your day, kung kamusta ka na, kung kumain kana,  and the likes.

Yeah, being single is super nice.
Pero kasi if we are in a relationship, we always take risks, napakadami nun na minsan iniisip natin na sana bumalik na lang tayo sa pagiging single...

I guess, I've learned a lot from my past relationship.

Let's enjoy being single and once we find our one true love, we must cherish it.

Kasi ako may times na I love having a boyfriend so much.
Haha.

Being single sucks if you came out from a bad relationship , at first, I wanna be in a relationship asap to show to make ex
That I can replace him. The problem is you will just end ip making the wrong decision if you are in a rush mode. Perhaps ,
Im too scared to take risk dati, kaya ayun, nawala si good catch. Anyway, life goes on. Iniisip ko nalang , I wont be able to travel around if im in a relationship.

Cliche man pero naniniwala ako na if you're unhappy alone, you can never be happy with someone.

Nung may bf ako buong college, i was contented with my status. Di ako nagentertain ng ibang manliligaw, lahat ng labas ko with friends filtered ni bf, even decisions ko sa school and when i started working, nakadepende sa kanya.

Maraming pang iba. Kaya nung naghiwalay kame, sobrang nagenjoy talaga ako. Ang dami kong nagagawa for myself. Ang posts ko nun sa fb mostly is yung mga concerts na pinapanuod ko (na madalas ako lang mag-isa), mga travel, food trip alone or with friends. Para akong nakawala sa kulungan. Freedom talaga. At i swear naenjoy ko yun. Nakipagdate ako with people, whether potential partner or not. I YOLO-ed, kumbaga. Those were definitely the best years of my life.

Until narealize ko that i'm ready to share my life again with someone.

Tapos nameet ko yung current partner ko. Sabi nya sa akin, he was attracted to me kase i seem so interesting (kase nagtatravel ako magisa, at medyo 'kakaiba' daw trip ko, etc). And i believe na mas healthy ang relationship namin kase established yung personality ko. Yunf lifestyle ko is same pa din when i was single, except that now may partner ako. Kumbaga i don't desperately need him to be with me, pero when he's with me, i appreciate. Ganun.

So what im saying is if you're single, you have to be genuinely happy. Doon mo mas makikilala ang sarili mo eh. Sure meron ding defense mechanism lang yung kunwari masaya, pero more than anything dapat talaga "mahahanap" mo ang sarili mo on your own, without validation from anyone.

Advantages ng single, daming pera. Haha. I can spoil myself. Pag may jowa, yung gastos you have to plan it for two na kaagad. Siguro yung cuddles and sexy time, pwede din advantage. Pero ako kase id rather go out and see the world kesa magstay sa room to cuddle haha.

@simang - i can relate to your story. Dati din ganyan ako, umikot ang buhay kay ex kaya when we broke up, hindi ako makakain ng hindi iiyak hahaha. But now, its a different story. Most of the time i prefer pa na mg isa mag malling, travelling alone hindi ko pa nagagawa but im starting to go to my dream places na and im loving it. When i was in vatican, i told god, thank you, kung hindi kami ng break, i wont be able to be here.

Of course, i wanna be in a relationship pa din but most likely i wont give up my freedom na especially travelling. Cheers to all the singles

This I needed to hear. Right on :)

As for the question, well most of the time YES. Minsan lang yung hindi--those times na pino-point out ng ibang tao na you're single. Ako naman kasi Im comfortable on my own for the moment. Parang Im at peace with myself na single ako. Minsan nakakairita lang when other people rub it in your face. Parang ok single ako pero it doesnt make me less of a person naman ano?

A month ago I went out of town with my sister and cousin and their BFs. So ako yung 5th wheel na walang partner. Ok lang naman sakin kasi my cousin made sure na I dont feel left out ganyan and Im close naman to their bfs. yun nga lang when other people saw our pictures yun nga comments about how I dont have my partner minsan kainis lang. Parang eh ano ngayon? Im happy ewan ko sa inyo.

I dont want to enter into a relationship because Im lonely. I promise myself I'll have another boyfriend for the right reasons na, not just to satisfy other people's expectations of what should be.

As for those people na laging nagpo-post sa social networking sites about how happy they are being single--only them know the real reason behind it--siguro sometimes they're sincere, or parang parining lang to those people whose making them feel na they should be in a relationship na, or siguro parang talk back to those na laging nagpo-post ng couple pictures. As for me I dont posts yung mga ganyang relationship issues. Ayokong makipagtalo kung sino mas masaya, yung Single or In a relationship.

What I do pag naiinis ako sa friends ko sa FB about their posts and I cant unfriend them or block them, inaalis ko na sa newsfeed ko. hehe. At least parang hindi sila nag-eexist in my virtual world.
