Nakakaiyak. Grabe ang acne ko ngayon. Ito na yung pinaka-worse so far. Nagpa-derma na ko pero. I used the meds for two month pero wala pa rin.

Aw, sorry to hear that. Anong meds ang pinrescribe sa'yo? Nagkaroon din ako ng bout sa acne years ago. That was the worst I had. Never had cystic acne during adolescence pero biglang nagsulputan after college. I had weekly acne surgery with my derma together with prescription cleansers, antibiotics, topicals, etc. Relatively okay naman ang nakita kong resulta after several months to a year. Sa ngayon, years na ang pagitan ng bawat dalaw ko sa kanya. Pumupunta lang ako pag may pimple ako na ayaw maalis for weeks. Tulad ngayon, feeling ko due na ko for a derma visit. Last punta ko ay around Nov-Dec last year. Minsan, patience at consistency ang kailangan.

mega problem ko talaga yung sa forehead ko mga bump na hindi talaga mawawala. Btw ladies, have you tried yourself dermarolling. Check niyo acnescartreatment sa ig, medyo nakakatemp bumili. I'm back again to retin-a after i got my face peel. i thought mawawala na marks and insecurities. pero still suffering pa rin.

Hi accalia, i bought retin-a sa mercury drug store.. I bought rin teranex soap, yun ang  pang facial wash ko, may glycolic kasi sya.. Sana nga maging effective..

Kapag sobrang dami na ng pimples dapat magpa derma na, ganun kasi ginawa ko and then binigyan ako ng topical sol'ns pero wa epek, so my doctor prescribed me an Acnetrex and boom effective sya ng bongga though magastos lang.
sa ngayon Hindi na ako gumagamit ng acnetrex and back to topical na ako ngayon kasi wala na akong pimples. Promise

Is it possible na may hormonal imbalance if regular naman period mo, pero nagkakaron ka ng acne before/during your visit? This frustrates me so much. Every month nalang ganon

I used eskinol pimple fighting then mix with dalacin C. So far di na ako mega pimple unlike dati na may karamihan kahit mini pimple lang. Pero yung sa forehead ko talaga may mga bumps pa rin. And bihira na ako nagkakaroon ng new pimps.
Anyone here, tried dermaroller? Nakakaintriga mga feedback ng acnescartreatment sa ig. And planning to get one na this weekend. Kaso sa dermaperfection ako oorder.

Like most of you girls here, nag-breakout din ako nung last year of college. Sobrang lalang breakout nun to the point na para akong may sakit sa balat. Super lala nun sa lower part of my face. Under my nose and sa chin area.  Halos buong chin ko nagbabalat na sa mga gamot na nilalagay ko para lang magstop.  Dami rin nagtanong bigla "Ano nangyari sa face mo?"  Ang hirap iexplain kasi super kinis ko talaga dati.

I tried to think of all the cuplrits. And I said baka sa coffee kasi super 3x a day ako nagcoffee nun dahil sa stress from board exams. So after my boards, I cleared myself off coffee and medyo naglie low din yung pimples ko. Mga ilan months nagclear up siya. I used Cy Gabriel Pink to clear up the dark spots.

Pero sadly, parang nagiba na yung balat ko. Never na as clear before and may days talaga na literal breakout. But unlike the norm, AFTER MY PERIOD ako pinipimple. Pero this time, all over the face na siya. Minsan cystic pa. That I tend to murder on my own.

Then just last month, sabi ko magpaderma na nga ako once and for all. I looked for a LEGIT derma. Not facial centers kasi I've heard tons of nega experiences. So ayun. First trip to the derma last November after 3 years of suffering from random extreme breakouts.  She then prescribed me a regimen of: Acne Facial Cleaser, Clindamycin solution and Retinoic Acid. Tas may vitamin serum to heal the skin daw.

A month later, and even after my period. I didn't break out. This is the clearest I've seen my face for 3 years. May occasial mini zits, pero in 2 days naddry siya ng Retinoic. And no cystic acnes since. Ayon, sobrang thankful pero todo pray parin na sana eto na yun. Sana wag nalang bumalik talaga.

Nakakatawa naman halos same pa name natin! I experience this too! And I've read possible sya so I take Evening Primrose Oil from GNC which is supposed to cure hormonal imbalance. Sign kasi daw ng H.I. ay maraming zits sa chin or around the mouth. And ganun sakin! Nakakaasar lahat nalang pwede magamit ginamit ko na and the products that worked for me dati wala na effect. So I took EPO and lo and behold nawala sila. I get occasional acne though siguro dahil sa stress at puyat na talaga..

For people still struggling with moderate to severe acne please visit a derm that can prescribe a good topical with oral antibiotics (lymecycline) or isotretinoin (acnetrex, acnotin, or ro-accutane)
For ppl who live in the south (alabang/laspinas/Paranaque) I suggest visiting Dra Aivee Aguilar. Just google her. She easily prescribes Isotretinoin.



For people struggling with mild to moderate acne. You can try the acne.org regimen. Just google it too.
It is  a 3 step program but their products are expensive when shipped because manggagaling pa sa States so I use their alternative products na mabibili dito sa Philippines.

Cleanser: Cetaphil gente skin cleanser or Cetaphil dermacontrol foam wash / Neutrogena / Celeteque

Treatment: Benzac 2.5% Benzoyl Peroxide can be purchased locally online at olx.ph (former sulit.com)

Moisturizer: Cetaphil dermacontrol spf 30 for acne-prone skin. For me the best ito pero mahal. Bihira nalang ito sa mercury but in Alabang town center mercury drugstore meron ito at P1470. Sa cash and carry nasa 1k flat but I went there last month walang stock and sa ebay.ph meron din 1k flat din ata if I am not mistaken.

AGAIN. The system is very effective if you follow the instructions properly on their website. I get a lot of messages on this forum complaining na namula at na-irritate lang ang skin nila sa Benzac. That's why it is very important to start with a very small amount of benzac for the first 2 weeks and then gradually increase it pag sanay na ang skin niyo. Not a single medication works overnight. Even Oral antibiotics and Isotretinoin take at least 4-8 weeks to work.

Tips:

Change pillow cases every week or just sleep with your face up.
Clean up your diet. (proven na po ang Milk , Chocolates and Sugary foods to cause acne.. google it)
Drink only water and lots of it
Get enough sleep. atleast 7 hours
Stop drinking dehydrating drinks like soda, coffee and tea
take cold showers
Get a high quality multivitamin
Take a separate zinc tablet 50mg
When Shampooing/conditioning in the shower, tilt your head back so the shampoo wont get into your face and clog any pores
Exercise (this varies from person to person because for me sweat can clog pores. So experiment on this)

true get enough sleep kahit ano pa kasi topical o oral ang gamitin o inumin kung lagi kulang sa tulog wala rin effect ....sometimes kasi I use clindamycin toner then s.o.s roll on oinment basta kumpleto tulog mabilis mag heal at mawala,pero if wala tulog o ilang oras lang tulog grabe lalo dumadami pa pimples....minsan nga kahit naghilamos ka lang basta kumpleto tulog ,nawawala agad e,,,just right now night duty me so pag uwi I take chamomile tea na para medyo mahaba tulog kasi duty nanaman the next days.....due monthly lang dumarating pimples ko ,our doctor advise me to take pills o diane pills kasi hormonal imbalance nga daw....but ayoko mag pills so I research and found an alternative which is evening primrose capsule ,I take 2-3x a day,,kasi nabili ko 1,300mg....ok naman daw un sabi ng doctor namin,good for the skin and hair pa,and will help in regulating my hormones naturally w/out harmful effects,,5days pa lang me nag take and my sumulpot na agad 3 large pimples,sabi ng dr ,ok lang daw un kasi nagsisimula pa lang me sa evening primrose,malalaman ko raw good effects after one month or less,,,,

same situation here, I will try the EPO sa GNC. how much yun? any other side effect na nafeel mo besides nawala yung pimples? TIA

Pimples and acne.. dr.fajardo in manila is the answer.  Tyaga ka nga lang sa 48 years na pila pero sulit.

I've been struggling against acne since high school and until now problema ko pa rin sya. I have hormonal imbalance and kahit I'm on pills, nagkaka-cystic acne pa rin ako every once in a while. So ngayon, I've moved to SG at wala ang aking derma here and I think yun regimen ko ay not working anymore. Gumamit din ako ng Eskinol with Dalacin-C at mukhang immune na face ko dito. Sobrang sabay sabay tumubo talaga cystic pimples at ayoko naman mag-visit ng derma dito dahil wala ako kilala and i'm afraid. Ayan, mini-murder ko tuloy yun mga pimples na may head and pus. Huhuhu.  I'm using Effeclar AI for spot treatment and Bio Oil for my scars. Pero yun nga laging may bago na tumutubo. Ang sakit pa. Huhu.

Hindi na effective yung acne aid bar ko. Ano kaya togg nasa forehead ko na maliliit na bumps. Hindi sya pimple eh pero may laman sya na white. Sobrang maliliit sya
