I had a boyfriend when I was 16, he was 25. We never had any actual sexual encounter til I was 18, though he sort of indirectly prepared me for it. Seriously, after we broke up (we lasted for 6 yrs, 23 na ko nung naghiwalay kame), i kind of realized how weird it was to date him when i was 16. Pero considering all the life lessons i learned from his mature mind, the relationship was definitely real. He sort of molded me during my formative college years.

Okay--- when I was in early 20's.. I preferred older men (30's). I was young and fun to be with and I think I was not too serious --- I guess this is the reason why these men preferred younger women. Kasi kung mga older than them or within their age range --- siguro mga serious na yun sa life. Now that I am turning 30 in November, looking back - ang laki ng changes ko especially with my personality. I am way more serious now. I am no longer "fun" and I think too much and make life complicated.

Wow, I'm gutted. Ang creepy na guys would actually consider "doing" a 12 year old. WTF? That's pedophilia, and statutory rape. That's an innocent little girl who doesn't know what she's doing, and is NOT old enough to consent for kissing.. let alone sex.

There's nothing wrong kung 18 and the guy is 28.. But kung minor, mali yun. Just imagine your little sister dating a grown man. How would you feel?

And where is your source? How reliable is your so called "reality check?"

Also, back in the olden times, ancient greek to be exact, there is this thing called "pedastry." Older men having sexual relations with much younger men. This was the norm back then. Kung titignan naten ngayon, at susuruin, totoo naman talaga na hinde tama. And we cannot justify something that is illegal now porket ba accepted dati.

Societal norm? Huh? It's looked down upon for all the right reasons, and it's not just simply taboo, it's illegal. Mas advance na technology and education ngayon and at mas nakikita naten effects ng sexual relations with an older man. Again, a minor is not old enough to consent for sex, no matter how mature she is. Especially not with a grown man. And sex without consent = rape.
