Yes, it's the same as:
Would you consider dating... then eventually marrying a guy with a love child?  ;)

I am accepting you as a person that you are now. You became what you are when I met you, and fell in love with you, and your past made you - the person who I fell in love with - today.

wow! every single mom wants to hear and feel that.. :) for me as a single mom as well, 1 thing that im looking for that can love me for what i have and become.. accept me wholeheartedly.. what we have is a package deal as they say.. i dont need his money because im working i know i can provide for my kids but if he will offer that would be fine.. i can only request for love for my kids as much as he loves me.. thats it! :)

for me... depende :D

ive been in a relationship with a single mom... and it lasts only for 6 years... until i found out the reason of her why she's a  single mom :D

base on my own experience:
may mga single mom (not all) na ang scenario eh... talagang hindi makuntento sa isang partner... halos gusto ng marami putahe... although may ipo front sya as h2b nya for life... para lang hindi sya masabihang disgrasyada... pero ginagawa ka lang pala taga alaga ng anak nya habang nag hahappy happy sya :D

good thing hindi sumuko yung parents ko sa akin until finally nagising ako sa katotohanan na ang taong pinaglalaban ko eh, ang taong pinaglalaruan ang damdamin ko :D

im living my life now with my true family :D ( kasal na rin ako sa simbahan) :D

if I am a single mom and mababasa ko ang ibang comment here that they dont want a second hands goods at kung ano ano pa...wow..hiyang hiya naman ako sa mga lalakeng yan.

First of all, I am sure hindi pinangarap ng Single mom na maging single siya. Hindi niya yun hiniling sa Diyos. It just so happen that there are unfortunate events that lead her to that situation. So those guys na nagsasabi ng NO! point blank, ng hindi nag iisip...eh baka nga walang isip. Ohhh well you dont deserve to be with a brave, matured and a loving Single Mom anyway.

mahirap at kadalasan sablay ang komento ng isang hindi tunay na single mom...

Dapat single mom o dad o karelasyon ng "single" ang magkomento para naman may matutunan ang magbabasa dito...

It's very true.  We should respect din guys who prefer to be with single unattached women kesa single moms. Opinion nila yun.  Ikanga less baggage for them to carry.  Especially kung single naman yung guy.  Mas madali magmanage ng relationship talaga kapag kayong dalawa lang ang involved at walang ibang baggage - the exes or the kids well being, etc.

Pero saludo naman kasi ako sa mga single guys na mature enough to have a relationship with a single mom.  Kasi nga hindi yun biro. Magset ka palang ng date, you also have to consider yung schedule ng single mom with her kids schedule, etc.

Sis, I still believe the guy has the right to know HOW the single mom ended up as a single mom.  You see sometimes life's decisions is a reflection of our attitude in life.  Kaakibat yun sa establishing a realtionship - the guy knowing you inside out.  Kung ang guy eh very conservative, natural na hindi nya ma-take having a partner with three kids from different fathers.

Sadly, maraming Pinay these days ay nasa ganitong situation, either by choice o hindi.  Pero para sakin, importante malaman how that came about, and dun mo makikita if the single mom is really worth pursuing.

This is so true. I'm with a separated man and his kids are with him. If there's no one to watch over the kids, we can't go out. Buti na lang nagagawan nya ng paraan. At first, medyo nagtatampo ako but then alam ko the situation so I guess it helped lessen the tampo factor. Single people who are dating those with "baggages" need to be extra patient and understanding because it's not easy.

if hindi p naman kayo kasal try to asses if tigil kana sa kanya, or mahirap ba talaga iwanan sya o palitan sya? in the event may makita kang katapat nya at single, what will u do?

Truth be told, I chose him over a single guy. And recently, I chose to stick with him when another single guy made known his feelings towards me. Hindi sa nagmamaganda ako or something kaya I'm telling you about those two single guys. Both have better careers and do not have baggages and could have been "better choices".

Just last week, I could have walked away from it as I got a preview of what life would be like with him. After a lot of thinking, I decided to stick around. And then I knew I made the right decision.

^ sis sugardrop interested ako sa answer mo.  :)

In my case kasi, I am a single parent kasi may mistress ang asawa ko. I had to exit the marriage as we were not happy anymore. Ngayon may BF ako, he is divorced with children.  Ang masasabi ko hindi madali makahanp ng katapat nya. I also have kids.  Ang kagandahan sa BF ko, he understands how to raise kids, he also understands my predicament.  I have dated single guys, kahit pa sinasabi nila they are willing to accept me, hindi ko yun nakikita sa actions nila kasi feeling ko hindi nila alam pa ang sinasabi nila.  My current BF also had a past marriage na so he already knows what he wants and understands what he is getting into.  He also can manage relationships much better. Kaya I don't think papalitan ko sya over someone na single.

Bottom line, it is not about single or divorced or divorced with children. Nasa sa maturity at quality ng guy/girl yun.

I agree. Weird as it may sound, his being a good father to his kids is one of the things I was attracted to the most. And he's treating me much better than any of my single ex-boyfriends.

Dating a single mom/dad comes with acceptance - his/her baggages, the whole situation, the kids will always be the first priority unless you have kids of your own na, and that the kids' mom/dad will never be gone unless he/she totally abandoned them to your partner.

Thank you. Everybody deserves a fair chance. (If I'll have a son, I'm going to name him Santiago. I just thought about it last week.)

for a single guy, it takes a lot of courage and strength to commit to a single mom, considering all issues and attendant circumstances surrounding her situation... this is not an easy choice because it defies logic and reason

but who needs logic nor reason when two person are in love with each other,? Love knows no reason nor logic nor boundaries when two people are in love...

just my opinion: it really doesnt matter as long as you love each other, it really doesnt matther as long as you are happy with each other...
