Got this Gcash advisory:

"FREE GCASH Advisory: Pwede niyo nang bayaran ang inyong PAG-IBIG monthly contribution at housing loan gamit ang GCASH.  I-dial ang *143# > GCASH > PAY BILLS > CATEGORY > GOVERNMENT at piliin ang PAG-IBIG service. For more info, visit www.globe.com.ph/gcash. No Advisories? Text STOP ALL to 2977 FREE"

Finally! No need to go all the way to pag-ibig and pay. Now kasi hindi pa allowed ang payments sa bank right? Only for loan payments and not contributions

question mga sis: if magpapa-register ako as employer sa 3 agencies, do i need to submit any documents aside from the registration forms? yung sa pg-ibig kasi by type of industry, wala naman akong nabasa for household employers.

and one more thing, meron na syang previous pag-ibig and philhealth numbers but wala na syang reference kung anuman yun since nasunugan sila before, at nakasama lahat ng documents nya. sss lang ang naiwan sa kanya. mare-retrieve pa ba nya yung old numbers nya?

thank you. :) medyo naguguluhan kasi ako.

^alam ko you don't need to submit anything if you are applying for an EMPLOYER NUMBER..

As for the helper's previous numbers - yes they can be retrieved for sure kasi one person one number ang system nila..  kelangan lang siguro na may proof na siya nga talaga yon..

good luck!!!

You can both agree to enter her as newly hired.  Pag ganon, you'd need to pay lang less than those 7 years.

^Yeah, you have to backpay yung SSS tapos may interest pa, if papayag maid mo as suggested by sis can_dice, enter her as newly hired.

Pumayag naman si maid but she asked for money 10t pesos plus one year na payment sa sss 8t, coz she needs that daw
What can i do but to agree mataas sweldo niya sakin more than 5t, this bill made me realize lumalabas pala ugali ng mahal mong maid pag pera na
Pinag uusapan:) been stressed with this bill for several weeks na coz imbes naman daw magbayad ako ng mas malaki humingi nalang
si maid ng portion for savings daw tsk tsk goodluck nalang sakin if alisan ako after paying those.
Pang contract kami now, may claim ba sya for separation pay? But im willing to give her naman sana
Ng money in good faith na pera magkano kaya yon?

^pag ganyan ka cuenta at talas sa negotiation ang maid --  expect her to demand for PhilHealth & PagIbig after you settle the SSS.

IF I were in your shoes:  I will have the past due SSS, PhilHealth & PagIbig computed, and paid.
Or, if sobrang malaki na --  negotiate with her -- to pay her 1/2 of premiums due, without the interest/penalties included.

If you do the 2nd option --  have her sign a contract or simple agreement that she is a newly-hired Lavandera to work for you now for 6 days/week vs the previous arrangement of 2days every 10 days.
That way, claro she was self-employed previously & it was not your obligation to pay her SSS, etc.
baka kasi she gets your money, tapos shakes you down for more later on.
Yan ang sinasabi ko, may mga creative syndicates/lawyers who will make sulsol maids to shakedown employers.
Once you've "hired" her --  do it per the law na -- remember, matalas your maid.

Sis aquacharly, yes you are right she demanded for phil health and pag ibig, but after we settled for the 10t
Plus 8t goes to sss , we are doing it per the law na, salary plus sss, pag ibig and phil health. Hay sakit sa ulo
talaga.matalas is correct pero if mag sign na kami ng contract na one year service siya sa amin there wont be any
Hassle in the future naman i guess?

^Oo make her sign 1 year sya dyan AND previously, reliever lang sya.
Kasi  kung matalas --  at na tutor ng syndicate --  baliktarin ka na you forced her to sign that pero longer than that ang full-time service nya sa yo.
Now, que ano say ng logbooks ng village guards, family nya or a neighbor's maids about seeing her x no. of years daily sa bahay mo -- it is going to be your word against hers na lang, madali lusutan.

Remember -- SSS is a legal rqmnt.  Pag nahuli ka or someone brings you to court --- hindi lang contributions due and penalties -- may prison term yan. You will end up paying more than dues & penalties - I atras lang nila kaso.

Of course, it is easier to say hindi nya pa aabutin sa ganyan. But it is just 1 more sentence to add to your employment contract. Just saying.

I haven't had yaya/maid for a long time. I am a housewife kasi and I take care of my kids by myself and do housework and cooking by myself too. Now, I will start working na (sept) so need to hire a helper/yaya. Ngayon ba?? Di ako mayaman. I just need help, coz I need to work.

The law is really needed but it is kinda one sided.  But since its the law na, we have no choice but to abide.

Walang overtime pay as of the KB, there is nothing that states that at all.  They have rest periods and thats it.

^I think there's is a provision for overtimes kasi di ba there's a part there that states "Hours of work and proportionate additional payment".  And dun sa sample contract nila meron nakalagay na "number hours of work".

Aquacharly do you just buy generic receipts of vouchers from the bookstore when your maids get their salary or sss benefits?  I'm just a new wife and I'm still trying to figure out what to do when I finally get a regular helper since kakaalis palang nung 2 months na helper namin.

^no, I have an accountant do it for me -- I have a BALMORI computerized  system for all our personal/family expenses.
Only that 1 accountant, me & hubby access that software.
We have kasi 7 helpers, 4 drivers, 3 regular part time helpers, guards, pool maintenance guy, team of gardeners who come every 15 days, maintenance contracts for pest control, chandeliers, etc etc etc
I have to keep watch on my annual total budget for the house.
This software churns out vouchers for every payment.
Also,  we configured it in such a way -- thru debits & credits - per voucher -- that the helper signs pag get wages/advances -- na yung total wages nya from start naka total din sa voucher.
The objective is to maintain only files of the last sweldo.

For my sisters who have 1-4 helpers,
I told them to keep  a notebook, 1 maid per page.
But I warned them to always safekeep well the notebook.

 Aug. 15/13.   Advance for day-off                   P 1,000.      Signature
 Aug. 31/13.   Complete sweldo for
                      Aug 1-31 less Aug 15 Advance.  P 4,000      Signature

Every time the maid gets paid - have her sign for the amount
Write mo din dyan any payments you add for her contributions

If you will follow the paper rqmnts para kang naging PA ng maid mo. Hello
So just learn how to simplify to your advantage - but be sure to protect yourself
A notebook, in our opinion is enough --  what for receipt booklets pa?

But if matiaga ka, do it by the KB --  maintain receipts, records etc for 3 years
Hello?

fully complied, what i did is P3,000 ang sweldo ng kasambahay ko, divided it by 2 para every 15 30 ang sweldo nya so that hindi masyado mag vale, then paid up all the 3 contibutions 3 months advance so that less asikaso.  Thank you Lord at mukhang matino at worth it ang bago naming yaya!

i haven't registered our yaya, she's on the second month na. next week ito na ang aasikasuhin ko.

kakatamad lang, since stay-out sya (but reports daily), hindi ma-control ang absences at ang late time-in. kaya nakakapikon bigyan ng ganitong benefits.

question po: required ba talaga na 3 months advance yung payment, or annual payment ang gagawin? or pwede ring monthly?

Why do we have to provide sss philhealth and pagibig for employees who dont even do their job tapos tatakas lang? I live sa condo, and we asked a lot of maids/yayas sa building namin, wala din sila ganyan and ayaw nila. Kailangan meron probationary period na 6 months for all employees.

sss pa lang yung nababayaran ko, but since napagkasunduan namin na with pag-ibig and philhealth din, so lalakarin pa namin yun.

question po: since aalis na nga si yaya, ano bang kasama dapat sa last pay namin sa kanya? 13th month pay meron na din ba sya?
