Once you get the hang of it, maganda na yan :)

Nagppractice ako every now and then, mga once a month hahaha pag lang naiinspire ako sa mga brow tutorials sa YT or if may makita ako magandang eyebrows sa girl. I have scar sa right, and then the hair, sparse and scattered tas medyo low and short :[ although sometimes, finifill in ko nalang using my brown pencil as in fill ng onti then brush with spoolie, para lang di sparse talaga.

Like you, I have a scar on one of my brows, tahi sa kalikutan ko nung toddler pa ako. And my brows are manipis too. Pero with the right technique, tool, and brow makeup, naaayos ko sya on my own. Basta practice lang.

I'll try having my brows professionally done din at the brow studio since yun ang pinaka-accessible sakin to see if there will be a difference sa ginagawa ko.

Agree, practice ;ang! 25 yo na ko ng matuto ako magkilay. Wala akong pakealam kasi dati, but wehn I started working, panget naman na manipis ang kilay ko. haha. Madami din natutuwa na maganda daw ako magkilay, pero I use pencil, di ako marunong pag brow powder, I tried a few times, di ko talaga magawa. So, stick to pencil nalang ako :)

Tama practice lang! Mapeperfect mo rin [textspeak!] pagkikilay. Mas ok nga [textspeak!] pencil kasi control mo [textspeak!] paglagay at kung gaano kakapal eh.

Idk if dahil lang makapal brows ko, pero iniisip ko mas madali magshape ng brows pag manipis and it has the additional perks na kahit pencil/brow powder lang ang gamitin okay na, di na kailangan ng mga tinted brow gels to change colors. Hassle for me na dahil i dye my hair light.

My one and only beauty ritual which I almost never missed was eyebrow threading. I miss having neat eyebrows.

:P I'm looking at givenchy eyebrow show, may naka try na ba? Choosing among that one, clarins, shiseido, and billion dollar brows. ;D

I like the natural combed eyebrow look lang more than the very drawn on look. But I think the drawn brow look is really the Philippine aesthetic because my clients really request it so that's what I do for them. To achieve that look, I really like Makeup Forever's Aqua Brow. It is the most flexible product for me.

I like the bushy Cara Delevingne/ Lily Collins look. I think there's a difference between that and the drawn on look? (like combing your brows upwards if they're not naturally bushy so they would appear bushy) It looks youthful and still natural kasi despite being thick so I think it's the current trend in brow aesthetics kahit world wide :)

^ yup, we're the same ladychris17. That's the brow look I prefer, it looks very effortess and chic! To get that look, I still use aqua brow with a spooli brush.

Among clients, though, many still like the drawn look. In fact, many makeup artists for weddings haven't caught on to the natural look... there's nothing wrong with it though. It's beautiful, but feels too made up for me lalo na the uso red carpet look is just glowy skin.
