^marie05, sis sa chinatown kami bumili ng souvenirs.. 6 keychains for 5RM then 4 ref magnets for 10RM.. sa malacca kami nakabili ng checkhup coffee and tea.. then sa may jalan alor kami bumili ng old town coffee.. 15RM ang isang pack.. 18 pcs ang laman.. pumunta rin kami ng central market, sa mga natanungan ko doon na bilihan ng coffee, medyo mahal ng kaunti ang bigay nila pero hindi naman kasi namin nasuyod lahat ng stores doon..

Bumili ako tickets from cebupac to KL. doable ba pag nagtravel kami ng gabi from KL to legoland if by train, meron bang byahe ng train sa gabi? Naisip ko kasi imbes na maghotel kami sa train na lang kami matulog then legoland sa morning?

If you have the budget, stay 1 night at Legoland Hotel so you have time for the following itinerary

Day 1:
Singapore > Legoland transfer
Legoland Theme Park + Legoland Water Park
Night time seafood dinner

Day 2:
Hello Kitty Town + Little Big Club
Evening time shopping at Johor Premium Outlet
Legoland Hotel > Singapore transfer

If you are only doing a day trip, you only have time for
Legoland Theme Park + Legoland Water Park
or
Legoland Theme Park + Hello Kitty Town + Litlte Big Club

This quite our iti in Malaysia, too bad lang, fully booked na yung Legoland hotel on the date of our travel 

is Johor far from Genting or KL? baka pwede pa kame mag side trip before Hello Kitty or after.

Hello mga Sis, sorry if this has been raised already. Does anyone know here If their is a luggage storage area in Kuala Lumpur International Airport? My hubby will be going home to Philippines to pick up his parents for visit here in Australia. He will be staying at KL airport for 11 hours for his connecting flight. Para hindi sya ma bored, he wants to go out and have a short tour at the twin tower and take some photos. Of course he doesn't want to bring on his luggage everywhere. Any inputs mga sis?

hi! sorry kung madami akong tanong about KL. masyado lang kami nagpprepare sa KL adventure namin hehe. anyway, my question is ano ba mas ok na bilhin na card sa KL, touch and go (tng) card or myrapid card?

sa TNG matagal daw bumili kasi kelangan magfillup pa ng forms etc. pero mas madami pwede paggamitan nito all train lines, buses and selected establishments. sort of octupus card sa HK.

sa myrapid card. lrt and monorail lang pero mas madali bilhin. parang bumibili lang ng lrt card dito sa manila. ang problem ko dito is ang initial load ng myrapidcard is rm10 and mnimum reload is rm10. di naman kami makakaubos ng rm20 sa whole duration namin sa KL.

^ mas madali bilhin ang myrapidkl sis.  and if i'm not mistaken, effective july 1 they also can use the myrapid card to rapid kl buses.

sorry ha, medyo busy lang and im in the client office kasi kaya bihira ako mag-online ngayon.

Sis phurple0515, during Idul Fitri ba sarado ang shops, Genting, KL Tower, Petronas, etc? How different during this period compared to a regular day or regular holiday? Thanks!

^ bukas mga malls sis tska mga tourist spots.  some small shops lang mga closed like mga stalls sa tabi tabi esp. Malay shops.  tahimik din KL most of the time kasi karamihan they are going back to their hometowns kasi mahabang weekend yon.  holiday dito ng 28 and 29.

but for sure, very crowded mga tourist spots those days.

Is any of our sisses based in Malaysia? I have a query lang regarding the cost of living. I plan to pursue my masters in the Selangor area, how much (RM) would it cost me a month? Kahit estimate lang sana para may idea ako.

^ hi sis, cost of living here is low compared to Philippines.  Education fees are high naman compared to Pinas.  It goes up to 3x to 4x rate.  depende din kasi sis san part ka mag-i-stay.

Hi mga sis, I need your opinion which is better: Sky Hotel, MyHotel or Metro Hotel? all 3 are in Bukit Bintang. Almost same prices din kasi. We are 8 in a group kasi. 3 families (3 pax + 3 pax + 2 pax) So either 2 rooms na 4 pax each - which is inooffer ni Metro Hotel. Or 2 family rooms (3 pax each) and 1 standard room (2 pax). Any help will be greatly appreaciated! tia!

^ sis, if you can see from previous threads, i usually suggest Sky Hotel, malinis kasi.  And it is in the center of every place sa Bukit Bintang.  Have not seen the other two hotels honestly

Sis Mozilla, I used HotLink when I was in KL. I got it in the arrival area of KLIA2. No problems with internet access. My only issue is the white (upper) portion of the back of my iPad got a red stain when I asked the staff to insert the sim. I know it wasn't there before kasi i was the one who removed it from the smart case and I turned it over. The white part was clean. I just got home last night from KL and I was going to remove the KL sim and insert my usual sim. The red stain was there. Don't know exactly what it is and I got most of it off but there's a faint pinkish mark already. Maingat pa naman ako sa gadgets. Hope this helps.
