I'm hired na by Sheraton. Magmedical ako sa May 25. Tentative joining date is July 1.
The package that I got is not what I was hoping for, pero okay na rin kasi may placement fee yung agency dito sa Pinas, equivalent to 1 month salary 

Pero okay lang kahit ipangutang ko kasi mababawi naman.

Heads up lang sa mga gusto pa magwork sa hotel, they are opening Four Points by next year so marami ulit open positions.

Yes, tama yun. I applied via Work Abroad. Feb 2015, I received an email from the GM na on hold pa muna yung hiring pero they will let me know if may interview sched na.

Last April 11, natawagan ako nung Key's Agency (sila din yung inapplyan ko sa work abroad)

April 14, interview with HR and GM

May 5, Key's called me again to inform me na hired na ako

May 7, contract signing + briefing

How did u know the opening positions in sheraton? Via website lang ba nila?
Actually when I received the GMs email, di ko maalala kung pano ako nagapply, sa dami na kasi ng sites na pinasahan ko online. Later ko naalala na via Work Abroad pero Key's did not specify kung anong employer (UAE lang). It would help if you will check the careers section of the international chain hotels. submit lang ako ng submit ng resume online

Placement fee is equivalent to your 1-month salary. partial payment once pasado sa medical. balance pag may visa na.

 walang taga key's na naginterview. HR and GM ng  sheraton mismo ang naginterview sa mga applicants. Legit naman kasi I checked the GMs Linkedin profile, sya talaga.

Hi, sa mga nagwowork na sa UAE, required po ba na magkaron ng red ribboned documents like diploma TOR, etc?

Nagsubmit na ako ng passport sa agency for my visa processing ang pinasa ko lang sa agency is photocopy ng diploma/TOR ko from college and high school. I'm thinking lang na baka kasi kailanganin so I want to prepare it na.

^kailangan sis naka red ribbon ang diploma then attested ng uae embassy manila if sa Pinas ka nag graduate. Or else clerk visa ang isang option kasi hindi required ang attested degree pag ganun.

^thank you sa reply sis. Hindi naman ako hiningian ng agency na dapat naka red ribbon pero sabi sa kin nung nagtanong ako sa kanila,  itatanong din muna nila dun sa partner agency in sharjah. I think mas maganda nga kung ayusin ko na din pag kasi nakaalis na ako at i-require later na dapat may red ribbon wala na magaasikaso for me.

Yup, mas ok sis ipa red ribbon mo tapos attested sa uae embassy manila. Kasi kapag gusto mo din lumipat ng work pag nandito ka na irerequire din yan kung hindi clerk visa ang iaapply sayo dito. Isa kasi yan sa requirements para mabigyan ka ng employment visa. Pag attested na sa uae embassy manila, pagdating dito kailangan pa din ipa attest sa MOFA.

Sis sofie mae, nagpa UAE attest ako sa DFA branch, it costs P3104. Sa bahay na ideliver yun doc, pero pwedeng abutin ng up to 9-10 days ang delivery instead na 7 days lang.
