Studio Apartment siguro would range around 33-40k per annum (or even higher)  depende sa location.  May mga location kase na mas mahal ang presyo ng mga apartments.

My friend who leases a 1 bedroom apartment told me na from 60k tinaas ng 70k ang upa nila.  Sa may Deira sila nagrerent.

An officemate who is planning to move to International City said na one bedroom is 50-60K.  Studio ata before dyan nasa 20K ngayon around 30K and up na rin.

Sumasakit na nga ang bangs ko kakabudget hahaha!

@Kawen Husband ko 6 years na as 3d artist sa Dubai sa magandang company sweldo nya 9500 without accomodation, libre visa and ticket ng family (bakasyon muna ako with the kids dito sa Pinas).  Kakalipat nya lang kahapon ng studio flat sa Al Nahda Sharjah (walking distance sa border ng Dubai) 30000 per year. Wala na sya mahanap sa Dubai ng mas mababa pa dyan kasi nga dahil dyan sa Expo na yan. Lahat nagtataasan. Sa simula siguro tiis muna sa bedspace lahat naman siguro dumadaan sa ganyan then pag ok na makakaadjust and upgrade na sa life. Try to apply sa government like sa police nagdedevelop sila ng games and nagaanimate ng crime scene something graphic artists do.

hi, i just want to ask for your opinion. kasi nag apply ako dito sa pinas ng work for dubai. sa dreamland aqua park yung company. ang offer e 1500aed kung tama pag kakatanda ko. sabi nung agent nasa 18k daw pag mataas palitan (sorry hindi kasi ako aware sa palitan) so ganun yung estmate nya. libre na accomodation, airfare 2 years contract, food. mabubuhay na kaya ako sa 18k? mamaya ang food nila e hindi ko makain? first time ko kasi sa uae if ever. sa mga ibang inapplayan ko sa bahrain naman napaka baba masyado. mga magkano ba dapat ang range ng salary? thanks!

sa ganyan din offer ako nagsimula last 2006 pa yun sa construction site sa desyerto. Buhay naman kasi libre lahat matindi ang culture shock, wala nga lang remittance hindi na yun kasya. Ang rate na yan pang DH so kung proffessional ka or skilled nakakababa ng self esteem. After 1 year di ko na kaya nagpakasal ako to have husbands visa at nagresign dun. For a start para makapunta ka siguro then after a year hanap na lang ibang work. Yung Dreamlamand pala sa Umm Al Quwain mga tatlong bayan mula sa kabihasnan. About the food don't worry maraming pinoy dun malamang sila nagpeprepare nun. Ayon weigh on these factors and I hope nakatulong sa decision mo

^^Mas mababa pa nga starting ko in 2004 salary ko is 1250AED.  With transpo and accommodation kaya nakakapagremit pa ako sa amin that time.  First two months ata yung wala akong sim card dito kase inuna ko muna bayaran yung mga nahiram kong pera sa friends ko para sa agency fee and other bayarin.

Keri na yan sa simula pero dapat wag ka makukuntento at maghanap ka ng ibang malilipatan.  First two years na ganun ang sweldo ko but I went on with internal trainings within the company para mahasa yung ibang skills specially yung office related ones kase yun target ko.  If you have a plan and you know kung pano mo i-execute yung plan for sure gaganda ang position mo here in UAE.

^thanks sissy. hindi ko pa din pinipirmahan yung j.o ko until now. para kasing pinas lang 6days a week ang work. kinompute ko so nasa 650/day lang ako. super huhuhu. im praying and asking for guidance padin. mahirap magsisi. salamat sa replies nyo.

^dun sa place na yun medyo tahimik.. hindi kagaya ng Dubai so if you are from Manila maninibago ka.  But kung sanay ka sa buhay province ok lang.  Also take into consideration that the salary you will be receiving is all yours --- wala na yang kaltas gaya ng tax, philhealth, etc

Have you ask kung merong Service charge, bonus and tips? Dun ako nakakabawi kahit papaano before when I started here in Dubai.  Saka super tipid talaga ako that time, bihira ang dine-outs at shopping.  Ganun naman talaga kapag nagsisimula pa lang.

hi mga sis.. may nagwowork ba dito sa IT company dyan sa UAE? Balak ko sana bumalik dyan sa April baka may alam kayo naghahire. Yun last work ko natapos na ang project and gusto nila ako ilipat sa HR pero hindi ko inaccept yun offer kahit same pa rin ang salary so balik pinas ako. Worry ako baka hindi na ako makakuha ng mataas na salary. Nakikita ko sa dubizzle puro less sa previous salary ko. Kung 4k AED lang dito nalang ako sa pinas magwork. Di ako makadecide. :|

Hi mga sis! Ask ko lang okay na ba ang 12K AED package per month pero 4900 AED lang ang basic salary and the rest is for allowance na. pwede ko na bang dalhin agad diyan ang hubby at anak ko, i mean makakasurvive na kame for that amount? thanks!

^Actually mataas na yan para sa nagsisimula here basta sure na 12k ang papasok na sweldo mo every month.  Meron kase na pabago bago na computation lang like service charge / quarterly bonus / etc.

Pero bakit ang liit ng basic noh? usually kase ang computation is 60/40.  60% basic and 40% allowance.  Ganyan kase computation nung package ko.

Magkakatalo lang naman yan sa End of Service Benefit (Gratuity) coz its computed against the basic pay not the overall package.  Naalala ko dati I even asked HR if they can up my basic and less yung sa allowance, kaso di daw pede kase sa 60/40 rule.

^^arcee08, korek si sis Myealexis21. baka pwede i-workout mo na taasan ang basic atleast 60% ng total package mo. di lang din dahil sa end of service kung di most companies kasi pag nagbibigay ng bonus or increment sa basic nakabase ang computation. kaya halimbawa may kaopisina ka na mas malaki sweldo mo in total pero maliit basic mo, mas mataas ang makukuhang bonus ng kaopisina na maliit ang sweldo in total pero mas malaki naman ang basic nya...

^Good point about the bonus! di pa kase ako nakakatikim ng bonus since nalipat ako dito sa present company ko kaya not sure how they compute bonuses.  Yung bonus naman dun sa dating company ko is the same for all below manager level.

In our company, yung increments are computed based on the whole package.


And also check the benefits - air ticket, medical insurance, education allowance --- if ibibigay nila yan even if yung anak mo nasa Pinas or kelangan talaga nandito na sya bago mo ma-avail yung benefits na yan for your dependents.   Single or Family status ba ibibigay ng company sa yo (this is very important at mas makakatulong if family status kase your dependents will enjoy whatever benefits you have)

Gusto ko magdubai kasi in demand mga interior designer jan at walang pakelamanan kung may license o wala.. Kaya lang nalalayuan ako and yung cost of, ivingg rabe masa dvisable ba to go thru an agency kasi may mga allowances? Anybody here who's an architect or interior or any related para naman may matanong ako

Hi mga sis, have you heard about Mackenzie Jones, they really have good offers.. I saw a job for me which is 18-24K AED, I just don't know the breakdown.. check that out.. but right now still undecided to leave, pa browse browse lang muna ako.. Most of their jobs starts at 9K AED.. cannot find reviews of this company, I wonder why..

^I checked their site Sis kase I've never heard of them before.  Parang Headhunters sila or placement agency like Bayt.com, Monstergulf.com etc.  Pero nice ha may salary na nakalagay sa mga job vacancies nila.  The 15k above are junior managers up to directors kaya ganun ang sahod and it's the total package na yan (basic + allowance / then benefits which are mentioned din).  Some are meant for UAE nationals kaya kahit na entry level mataas ang salary kase ganyan ang kalakaran dito they have a different salary package.

Re hospitality jobs -- ok naman sya.  I've worked for 6 yrs sa industry na yan.  Maganda sya for me as Entry job mo here sa dubai kase they provide accommodation/transportation/food so you can easily settle in.  But the salary is a bit low compared to non-hotel jobs and you will receive the basic lang, allowances are not given in cash (provided na kase ang accommodation/transpo/food/laundry/etc) but you will have almost the same benefits (medical insurance/flight ticket) may slight difference lang.

Sis I work as a Multimedia Specialist / Graphic Designer.. I saw their opening for that post, sooo tempting... happy pa naman ako dito sa Pinas, iba parin talaga ang treatment..

MJ pays a lot huh, hope they don't discriminate.. maganda din sguro if your employers are not UAE nationals.. like Americans / Europeans.. share niyo naman these type of employers, are they treating us well?

^I think it's not MJ ang nagpapasweldo ng mataas, rather yung mga clients nila na.

Hindi maiiwasan ang discrimination, but for me hindi ko naman masyadong nafefeel dito sa present company ko.

American companies are said to be good employers.  But I have to say masaya ako sa present company ko which is a semi-government company.  I report directly to a UAE National and wala akong maicocomplain about him -- best boss ever! 

since I started working in Dubai, I've reported to bosses with different nationalities -- Indian and Sri Lankan (during my F&B days); Indian, Pakistani, German, French-Canadian, Croatian and UAE National (Office).  When I was starting pa lang, a Srilankan asst outlet manager said that I won't last 2 months in the job, pero I can't blame him kase I was so thin back then and zero knowledge of F&B...yun na siguro yung pinakanakakainis na experience ko with a superior. 

May nakita akong nagpost here na yung hubby niya is 3D graphic designer ata... basta thread yun about Dubai. Maganda sana if you can ask her para mas magka-idea ka.

Pansin ko lang, here in Dubai parang mas mataas ang offer sa mga pinoy na nagtatrabaho sa office compared dun sa mga nurses (except siguro yung sa government hospitals) and mas maraming opportunities (esp if matagal ka na dito).  Exact opposite ang situation naman sa America, mas mahirap makahanap ang mga pinoy ng office jobs there na kasing taas ng sweldo/offer dito sa Dubai.

Mas mataas pa nga ata offer sa retail kesa sa licensed nurses.

Mahal lang talaga ang accommodation sa UAE. Ang option mo is to get a bedspace or spend a lot on a solo room. So kahit medyo mataas sahod mo, you still can't get a solo room kasi mahal nga.

Hello mga sis. Working here in Saudi for 2yrs and 5mos na. Hubby and I are planning to transfer to Dubai. May job offer na sya pero since ako wala pa medyo mababawasan ng konti yung income namin (in case ibigay ng employer yung hinihingi nya na basic salary). Then pagdating namin dyan maghahanap nadin ako work.

Ok na sana kami dito sa Saudi pero naiisip namin na kahit papano mas magkakaroon naman ng konting saya yung ofw life namin kung lilipat kami dubai. Siguro malulugi nga ako sa salary since nababasa ko yung mga admin/secretarial jobs eh swerte na kung makakuha ng AED4k all in na. pero bukod sa malilipat kami sa open country eh nandyan din ang brother ko so magkakasama kami.

Sabi pa ng husband ko, hindi naman sa lahat ng oras eh salary ang pinaka importante. May dahilan din naman daw kami para sumaya kapag lumipat sa Dubai. Nadidiscourage lang talaga ako sa taas ng upa sa flat at sobrang taas ng competition ng applicants kaya ngbabarat yung ibang employers.

^Depende Sis kung anong level ang experience mo in doing admin work, and depende din sa company.  Yan ang line of work ko and mas mataas naman sa 4k ang package ko plus family visa and other benefits
