If BPI, you have to enroll the accounts.

Actually sis, in my experience with BPI mobile app, I can easily do funds transfer to third-party accounts (accounts I did not enroll and/or not mine).

You need to apply for the funds transfer to anyone feature in your BPI mobile app, and then activate the enrollment through your ATM.

Sis, sorry for the late response, was able to read this thread ulit just now. What I know is Citibank offers different types of savings account and there is one that requires just P50,000 minimum deposit but you have to increase your balance by P5,000 per month for the next 12 months.

I opened a BPI Savings ATM Account to apply for BPI trade account; It was a hassle since I lost my SSS ID  so I have to present some other form of identification.

I have 2 savings account. One with RCBC and one sa BPI. Parehas kong recommend yung dalawa because of their online transaction na super hassle free. Sa RCBC since college pa yung acct ko tapos yung pag pay ko with other credit card and other bills maayos.

I'm not in the Philippines kaya yung convenience to do online banking talaga ang gusto ko at so far super satisfied naman ako sa dalawang bank.

Pros - madali magbayad ng bills sa halos lahat ng billers ko;
- May online banking
- Madaming atm, thus avoiding interbank withdrawal charge
Cons - mahaba pila, depende sa branch

Bpi
Pros - madali magdeposit - kapag may yellow bpi machine dun sa branch. Di hassle
- May online banking din
- Madaming atm, thus avoiding interbank withdrawal charge
- Madaming services gaya ng bpi trade, mutual funds na madali
Lang i access thru internet
Cons - kung aside sa deposit ang gagawin mo, haba ng pila palagi and mabagal

We moved majority to Security Bank and so far we are happy. No pila. No Interbranch Withdrawal Fees even for ATMs, maasikaso mga RMs/or yong mga sa desks. Then maraming branches ang open na din til 5pm. Meron pa nga 6pm. Mabilis din magreply sa texts and emails. Sana magtuloy tuloy silang ganyan.

I will try BDO for my savings account. Turn off lang sa akin ang haba ng pila for deposit, at may payment fee pag province ka magdeposit sa ibang account..

How much is the payment fee for BDO? I'm used to BPI na walang interbranch fee.

- may interbank charge parin pag nagdeposit ka from a different region
- not all branches may cash deposit machine

BPI
+ no interbank charges
+ mas maraming cash deposit machines based on my experience
- they often have a system downtime
- even if the lines aren't long, mabagal talaga transaction

BPI Direct Express Teller and BPI Express Teller. The former for the 50k daily max withdrawal, then the latter for parking funds (settlement account for UITF, transactions etc)

I'm also considering opening an account sa SB. Question lang, is it easy kaya to do their online banking if they have any at all? Kung meron, pwede ba to like pay credit card bills and to transfer money to and from say BPI or BDO online?
