Found a new hair colorist!  He works for a top salon in BGC.  Pag day off nya he does home service for hair colouring lang (he doesn't cut hair).  But he only accepts bag malapit sa Makati.  Nag pa ash brown ako sa kanya with highlights, shoulder length hair, 1,500 lang!  & only took 3 hours.

Any feedback sa Piandre salon Timog or Trinoma branch? I plan to have a rebond sa Saturday and magpapa-short hair sana. I?ve been sporting long hair since time immemorial and I want to rtry short hair, though scared ako.

Sino marerecommend nyong stylist? Thanks so much sa sasagot. :)

Wala kasing page for worst hair stylist pero I need to share my story here so my other sissy here na nagtry magpahaba ng hair only to be cut ng alanganin ng mga nagmamagaling na stylist ay mawarningan.

Let me tell you my story. Last July 21, saturday i went to jessi mendez (glorietta) for haircut. Nagshow pa ko ng picture for inspo gupit ni Lovi Poe. Soft layer haircut daw yon sabi ng receptionist. So they assigned me the bonggang stylist na nagcost ang haircut ng 560, si artistic director. Bes nagexpect ako kasi 560 eh di bongga yon for sure.

Ending? After banlawan ng hair ko, sumabog na nagtikwasan pa.  560 down the drain. Now my hair is shoulder length na lasi pinapantay ko na sa ibang salon.

My hair is too manipis to sport octupus hairstyle.

Has any of you gotten a haircut from the creative director himself of the salon (i.e., Henri Calayag, Jing Monis, Alex Carbonell)?

Normally I just get a senior stylist. But I want to try getting a haircut from the creative director himself. But I do not know the TIPPING etiquette if the one who did your haircut is THE creative director... Are you supposed to tip him or will that be construed as insulting?

Sorry I know it sounds trivial... i just do not want to commit a social taboo. Hahahaha!

Jeff of Mars Effect (Starmall Alabang) saved me from my super tingkad yellow bleached highlights + brassy hair in time for my wedding!
They know how to correct depending on your current hair situation.
Sasabihin din nila kung ano pwede ma-achieve and will set expectation of what's going to happen after ng  service.
Walang hard selling na naganap when I went to their salon.

Tried Piandre Salon's Keratin/Brazilian Treatment with super subtle highlights and color + hair cut, I forgot if I also had my mani/pedi/foot spa there. They billed me around 11k. I was shookt sa pricing nila at first and I felt na di naman masyado apparent transformation ng hair ko, but now that it's been almost 6 months and maganda pa din buhok ko, sulit pala haha! I've never had any treatments since then pero it looks fine. Grabe din tedious ng process ng highlights nila.

^ Piandre is on the higher end so 11k is a bit high.  I did highlights for half and maganda din naman even after 6 months.  Usually dapat na redo yung hair after that.

^I see, I hope sa next visit ko ma try ko naman medyo loud color as base + highlights. Ngayon kasi black lang and base ko and subtle highlights, it's nice tho.

^ Cool, went with ash brown plus subtle highlights.  But you know how it is, it turned a little blonde over time even with sulfate free shampoos and conditioners.  My hair is super high maintenance I swear.

^Yes, my hair has been through a lot na din, I looove experimenting with colors, very apt din ang black base and highlights ko because I was prepping for my pregnancy back then, I'm 5 mos preggy now, my hair looks decent, doesn't necessarily looks like it needs a touch up pa. I rarely use iron nor curlers, blow dry lang ok na.  :)
