Ako naman looking for recos for salons in katipunan, particularly aura and azta. I used to go to piandre trinoma usually for coloring but was so disappointed with the recent haircut I got, as in the only way to style it is to just put my hair up in a ponytail and wear a headband to hide my bangs, it is that unflattering. To think trim lang naman nirequest ko, and it was medyo pricey at 650. Now interested in azta for coloring.

Nung unang punta ko kay Ms. Eva din ako, but when I went back last week kay Mr. Noel naman.  This time may hair color na rin, both visits were ok.

He's with Lifestyle Salon now but since it's newly opened, I haven't read a review so I'm a bit hesitant (going for both cut and color). Had my hair assessed recently by LPK but he didn't really suggest a color that compliments me kaya I just showed him a picture. Medyo di ko inexpect yung walang suggestion.

Originally I set an appointment with Studio Fix with a cut from Alex pero di nila makita yung slot ko which is really disappointing since I booked almost 2 weeks ago. They suggested pa na color muna before cut which is fine if I want to keep the length but I don't so sayang naman kasi magkaibang rate (from long to shoulder length).

I also went to JuRo Salon to have a consultation and they really are very accommodating and would ask questions about you and your lifestyle. Then sir Jude explained the best length and cut for me, which I agree with kasi I noticed it with my previous cuts. Ms Rose also took into consideration my skin tone and then explained what she would do since I'm very low maintenance and with it I could go for a couple of months without retouch. In fairness, if I could justify spending a big amount at this point for hair cut & color, I'll choose this salon.

Long story short, because I got disappointed with Studio Fix medyo I'm taking that as a sign na baka hindi dun dapat :P So would like to ask if anyone's tried LPK recently and how was it. Thanks in advance.  :)

Simple bob cut lang naman, but I love it. Honestly, medyo intimidated ako sa salons but I think I'll stick to this one.

Ma-try nga sa Menage pag uwi ko. So either Eva or Earl ang hanapin? How much ang rate nila sis?

Ms. Eva...sya ba yung artistic or creative director ng menage trinoma? (I'm bad with names, I don't remember! Di bale, I will recognize her instantly naman pagpunta ko dun if ever). If so, I already had a haircut with her din, and I really liked it. I was planning on returning to her for my latest haircut but ended up having it at piandre instead. Mas gusto ko sa kanya. She is one of the few stylists ever in my life who was able to cut my bangs exactly the way I wanted it, LOL. Had my hair trimmed, at maganda kinalabasan.

Nakakatawa nga kasi nakita ko yung old photos ko and my reference pics for my old haircut sa Bench. Yung sa Bench, sa umpisa lang maganda. Pero ngayon, di nga ako nagpakita ng reference pics eh, I let her decide what would look good pero yung kinalabasan kagaya ng gusto ko maachieve sana dati.

Almost 2 weeks na yung cut ko ngayon and same pa rin as the first day, granted kailangan ko lang talaga tiyagain patuyuin nang maayos saka ang bilis humaba ng bangs ko (I should have asked for shorter bangs!) But Ms. Eva knew right away that I don't get to blow dry my hair for styling, kaya she suggested yung cut ko para mas low maintenance. Di talaga nagffly away hair ko ngayon :)

Wispy lang that hit just right above my eyes. Sounds simple enough, right. But lots of times, I end up with too long, too thick or too short bangs. With my recent cut sa iba, binigyan ako ng heavy blunt bangs. Oh well.

Any suggestion san magaling magpagupit, I'm pregnant and dry at wavy ang hair ko so hindi ako makapagpatreatment plano ko ipagupit na lang I badly need a best hairstylist na kahit wala treatment at babagay sakin. Pakilagay po ang salon branch, price and name of hairstylist much better if near Paranaque or Alabang. Thank you

You may want to try Ms. karina from Regine's salon sa atc. She's the owner. Available lang siya pag mondays though. Downside is 1,000 ang haircut.

Tony and jacky fishermall okay din... Layer kase pinagupit ko maayos naman. First hesitant ako kase first time ko magpapagupit sa Koreana.

I need a new salon for cut and color. Hermes of Studio Fix is good. I've had cut and color with him twice.

But now i am looking for someone, another salon, that's even better.

I originally wanted to go to Juro salon exclusif because I heard that they really consider your face shape and all to match the color and cut. I want that kind of customized cut and color. But Juro is so expensive (around 7k for cut and color while I would only spend 4k for cut and color in Studio Fix, inclusive of service charge)

Anyone knows a more affordable salon with a more customized approach (that they really take into consideration your face shape, hair texture and all)?

Thank you!

^Try Chiyo of Sei Salon.  She charges 3k for haircut.  I'm not sure about her rates for hair color.

Sino ang mas ok - henry calayag or alex carbonel? Preggy rin kasi ako at di pwede mag-patreatment. I want to cut my hair short pro problem ko thick sya. Challenge talaga sa cutter. Sulit ba talaga sa kanila? Hope someone can share their recent experience with them. salamat.

I'm looking for someone specifically for bangs eh.

after more than a year, i had my hair treated again (steam rebonding). i had my hair done (color + steam rebonding) at bench fix trinoma last friday. i am very much happy with the results. kahit medyo pricey yung color + steam rebonding, super sulit naman yung results. Mr. Cesar (and his assistant - forgot the guy's name) was able to meet my expected hair color, plus ang ganda ng bagsak nung hair ko. very seldom do I have GGSS moments, but when I saw the results, napa-wow talaga ako. hahaha! kaya kahit pricey sa bench fix, hindi ako makalipat sa iba, because most of the time talaga, hiyang ang buhok ko sa kanila (especially with their eastwood and trinoma branches).  :)

^ based on my observation sis, yung steam rebonding, yung hair iron na ginagamit nya nakakabit sa isang small machinery/base which generates steam (kaya siguro may water din sa loob yung machinery). in the usual rebonding (na na-try ko na rin before), yung ordinary hair iron, direkta sya sa kuryente. sabi ng stylist, under steam rebonding, hindi subjected yung hair to too much heat, so kung medyo sensitive ang hair, hindi sya ma-damage. alam ko rin, may difference din sa gamot na ginagamit. 8100 yung binayad ko for hair color and steam rebonding -- 2100 for the hair color, 6000 for steam rebonding - bra-line ang length ng hair ko sis.
