re: highlites

when they saw me i had highlites parang they cringed to the sight of it maybe because bleaching the hair really damages the hair..what happened was they insisted kulayan na lang buhok ko ( my roots only) since may color din yung mid shaft to lower part hair ko...i will never go to that salon ever again.. kung sabagay mid range lang price nun kaya siguro.. ending when i washed my hair nawala yung shine at pagkastraight and to think pinarebond ko din yun :/

baby chichay,

sa dami dami ng high end salons na natry ko (Jing Monis, Louis Kee, Basement, Chiyo of Sei Salon), never ako nagbayad ng ganun kalaki, diyan lang sa Hairshaft na yan.

to think na yung mga gamit nila like shampoo, hindi naman Kerastase, generic lang. yung overall ambiance ng salon, hindi high end at all. kaya mabibigla ka talaga sa bill

Torn between Bench Fix and Tony and Jackey. Parang ang tagal ko ng hindi nagpapagupit. :(

I called BeautyBricks now lang wala ng vacant for stracurl tom. so sad di sila open every sundays. :(

okay ba sa Bench Fix and Tony and Jackey magpa-digi perm + rebond? hm kaya?

PS: sino na nakapagtry kay Ms. Lynn Park of Hair Click Style & Leisure Club? i went to their salon din then i noticed may mga artista din silang clients. sa Bel-Air, Makati yung place. :)

for rebond or xtenso, i would recommend Bench Fix. had mine done about 2 weeks ago in their Eastwood Mall branch. Stylist is Robert. kahit inabot ng 6K (bra-length hair), so far, even after 2 weeks, soft pa rin yung hair ko and hindi frizzy. this is the 3rd year na nagpa-rebond ako sa Bench Fix Eastwood Mall branch. so far, so good.  :)

went to T&J The Block. they have a package for volume rebond, 6k any length. but when i had my hair checked, they said i must pay 10k++ since the volume rebond will just rebond the lower part of the hair. and they need to rebond the upper part too (of course!) so I have to add 2k for that. and another 3k for this treatment to make the 6k package "work" on my hair.

i admit my hair is dry and all, and okay lang naman gumastos sa hair as long as may rason talaga. pero yung sinabi nila na yung promo is sa lower part lang ng hair ang irerebond?? i immediately stormed out kasi di nila maiexplain saken bakit kalahati lang pala ng buhok ko ang irerebond nila dun sa 6k na promo. at bakit need pa ng isang treatment kasi di daw basta basta gagana yung 6k. so bakit pa sila nagpromo ng ganun. di ko lang magets talaga. >:(

^ natawa naman ako sis dyan sa nabanggit mo na "promo" ng T&J. parang T@nga naman yung promo nila ... wala naman atang seryosong tao na magpapa-rebond na lower part of the hair lang.. so ang lagay pala nun eh, tipong lower part of the hair lang ang pa-plantsahin kung sakali? what if yung waves or kulot eh lumalabas na sa regrowth (upper area) area? parang ang sagwa naman.. di ko ata ma-visualize.. sana rin upfront nila ilagay kung ano yung covered sa 6K promo nila.. para hindi rin aksaya sa oras ng customer nila.. just my two cents worth ah..  :)

^exactly sis. i told them napaka misleading naman ng promo nila. everyone will think "all in" na yung 6k na yun kasi sa flyers naka-slash pa yung original price which is 10k and they said "any length". so kahit sino hindi maiisip na dulo lang ng buhok ang marerebond. ang reason pa nung korean which trinanslate ng pinay girl is yung volume rebond daw kasi papasok sa dulo, so dun magconcentrate yung 6k, not sa upper part. i was like, "wtf?!" talaga. mas mahal pa pala sa 10k ang babayaran mo talaga if you avail of that promo. kakaloka mga salon ngayon. bakit ganun sila LOL  ;D

Feedback on Folded & Hung salon? Either Robinsons Manila or Glorietta branch. Looking for a good salon na hindi masyadong mahal for short haircuts. Jing monis kasi too expensive lalo if imamaintain yung short hair.

Had my haircut with Hermes a few days ago, he was very, very nice. And chill lang. Sa mga nagpapagupit sa kanya, how much tinitip nyo? :)
