Had a haircut with Hermes yesterday.  Short hair ako, he asked if gusto ko pahabain, maintain length or shorter... So sabi ko pixie cut, explain nya na nice sana yung kay jennifer lawrence but my hair is too short pa for that, so mag anne hathaway length kme.  Im happy with the result, kuha nya  =)

until now naghahanap pa rin ako ng magaling mag cut ng hair.  Art Evangelista used to cut my hair and super ganda siya yung tipong after 6months may magtatanong pa rin sayo if bagong gupit ka.  Sayang lang wala na siya.   I tried different hair stylist na including louis kee himself and honestly hindi sila mananalo kay Art.

my top 3 best hairstylists arranged according to date of haircut:

1. yr.2009-2012 mr shin of beauty brick. i like his cut pag humahaba na yung hair. pag bagong gupit medyo hindi ko type. lagi kasi siyang too short mag cut. kunwari sabihin ko 3 inches lang putulin sa length aba almost 6inches ang mawawala. tapos sasabihin ko mukhang makapal tignan yung buhok (put volume) aba ang nipis. pero pag humaba na mga 4months up ang ganda na. sa 3yrs mga twice lang ako nagpunta matagal kasi ako talaga bago nagpapa gupit.

2. yr.2013 hermes of studio fix. twice nako nagpa haircut kay hermes last year and ok naman siya magaling siya gumupit. if you explain what you want nakukuha niya talaga yung gusto mo.

3. yr.2014 park jun salon sa glorietta (dont know the name of the stylist). korean yung nag gupit and hirap explain kasi may language barrier. so sabi ko bahala na siya. she showed me a picture sa ipad niya and sabi ko ok. super like ko yung gupit niya. pag naka blower ang ganda ng layers. pag hindi ko blower maganda pa din hindi siya tumitikwas. nakuha din niya length na gusto ko.

Ako sis, I normally go to Menage Salon in Trinoma and ask for Earl. He's rate is only 300 what I like about him is he always ask me if I want to grow my hair long. Never he did offer treatments sa hair na parang hard sell, the only time he asked if gusto ko magpatreatment is nung sobrang dry na talaga ng hair ko, that day kasi balak ko talaga magpa-treat ng hair. He will give you tips talaga kung pano mo alaalagaan hair mo without spending too much ;D I asked him nga last Sunday lang if I can have my hair steambond, sabi niya after pwede naman pero better after summer na para hindi masayang un treatment.  ;D Plus factor kasi sakin yung hindi nag hahardsell ng treatments nila sa salon na parang wala they will make you feel na ang pangit talaga ng hair mo. Ang maganda din kay Earl, you will get what you paid for and he gives value to your money, kung hindi talaga maganda  ang result hair treatment sayo, he will tell you directly.  ;)

^that's nice! sayang ang layo ng trinoma sa akin.

ako, i always go to Mhel of Azta Rob Metroeast. for my haircuts lang ha, kasi he really knows what to do with my hair. saka pag humaba hair ko, mas gumaganda. though tagal ko na hindi nagpapa-haircut since i'm growing it. he's been my stylist since 2011 if i'm not mistaken, after Paul of Bench Fix G4. both of them magaan ang kamay, which i really like  :)

Hi sisters, i want a red streak hair sana like Elena Gilberts of TVD! :)

LOOK: http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/vampire-diaries-elena-pink-hair.jpg

Actually, IDK kung anong tawag dyan. hair coloring ba or highlights? ang concern ko kasi is that may mga salon daw  na hindi nagcocolor or naghihighlights basta basta.

This is my case. Rebonded kasi ako way way back plus palaging dark colors ang pinapalagay kong cellophane color. So, as in shiny black straight hair ang peg ko before. But now i'm sporting a slightly curl (mejo nagloose na kasi perm ko) "floweriness red" (not so red, which is exactly what i like) hair. actually, nahihirapan akong i-maintain. haha. pero mas peg ko na talaga ang curly hair. mejo nababagot lang ako sa hair ko, kaya gusto ko sana na may red streak ang hair ko. saan pwede magpagawa? :D

sorry, if OT. But im looking for the best salon na pwedeng gumawa neto. :)

i went to Studiofix in greenbelt last Thursday for color and haircut. ive been to Studiofix many times, and hermes is my usual stylist.

my hair is rebonded so we went to an above the shoulder cut  with longer sides, parang mala bea alonzo daw. then proceeded with hair color. i told hermes i dont want the color to turn brassy, and i dont like red-tinge brown. in short i want ash brown. also i want to cover my gray hairs

The haircut turned out great. However, i think the color is a disaster.  the final look is at first ok, but i already see brassiness. hermes said its the salon lights that make it look brassy, so sige ill give him that. he also said my hair has lots of red pigment. now when i went home i notice the brassiness. nung umaga napansin my gray hairs entirely were not covered. its been 2 days that i didnt wash my hair cuz im thinking of going back so they can repair. im just hesitating because nakikisama ako kay hermes

im so disappointed, i might call them later. i paid 3100 all in all (2600 color plus 500 haircut) and im not happy at all with the color.

last year i tried the nearby cheap salon who was able to achieve an ash brown on me, i remember the cream they applied is purple, maybe to neutralize the orange.
