Limited-pay plans namin sis ay PruLink Exact Protector and Pru Elite Protector series.

^ nasa magkano po ba premium if 10 years to pay lang?

^Depende sis sa coverage, age, and sex of the insured. For Elite 10 the minimum is 110k. For PEP 10, the minimum is around 18k- 35k.

Kindly consider din sis yung 15 years to pay kasi may loyalty bonus sya. From your 11th to 15th year, PruLife UK will add 10% of your premium amount to your fund value as long as you are consistent with paying your premium. Plus mas mababa ang premium nya with higher coverage.

Hi sisses!

I have a policy with PRU, 10 years to pay. I am on my 4th year palang. If ever I move to another country, what will happen to it? Sorry for the noob question.

Thank you!

Hi sis, I just remembered that policies for OFWs are issued without Personal Accident and Hospital Income riders. If you have these riders, please ask your FA to find out if you can claim on them while abroad since yours were issued before going overseas. If not, I recommend patanggal mo na lang but don't lower your premium para mapunta sa investment yung savings on the rider charges.

Retain Accident Death and Disablement, Disability, and Critical Illness riders if you have them. No problem on claiming while abroad.

Hi mga sis,

Sharing to you the Mid-year Investment Outlook Report by Pru Life UK's fund manager, Eastspring Investments.

http://view.ceros.com/eastspring/outlook-2018-mobile/p/1?[textspeak!].mc_id=564718

You might want to consider investing in Asian equity markets, which is pegged to be the top equity market by 2027 with China at the helm.

Pru Life UK has 2 available Asian specific funds: Asian Balanced Fund and Asia Pacific Equity fund.

Last year, I advised an OFW client to invest her dollar income into the Asian Pacific Equity fund for her retirement fund. This report has validated my advise. So happy :)

Hi, sis Ning Kuting. May questio lang ako about sa products/.

Sabi nila if matanda na  (let's say 50's) and walang masyadong obligation, you can minimize your FA para more on investment na. Question: If FA is 1M with ADDD 1M and CIB 1M, pag ginawang 500k ang FA will the ADD & CIB be affected or pwedeng tag 1m pa rin?

^ ADD coverage can still be 1M but maximum Life Care Benefit (Critical Illness) coverage is equal to the Face Amount/Sum Assured. Same with Total and Permanent Disability coverage. So if ibaba yung  Face Amount to 500k, ibababa rin ang LCB coverage.

However, sis, by that time, malaki na dapat ang fund value mo enough to cover the 500k difference if ever may mangyari. I always tell my clients that the we should maximize flexibility of VUL based on their circumstances. If by 65, you are healthy, has enough funds for retirement, and your fund value is twice or thrice the amount of your coverage, and wala na namang dependents or for estate tax ang purpose, I tell them we should consider moving all of the fund value. If di pa gagamitin, we can put all of it sa single-pay VUL for more growth with minimal charges. Pwede ring half invest and half stays with the bank for accessibility.  Or we can always go with the status quo and just leave the policy as it is.

Madaming options based sa future life circumstances natin.  :) When computing for retirement fund, lagi kong sinasama yung health fund. Why? We'll never know kung anong mga sakit ang dadating sa future na hindi covered sa policy natin. Plus, critical illness coverage is not until 100. Depending on the plan and the company, pwede syang ma-terminate as early as 65. If kaya naman ng budget, better to have a retirement fund with a sizable health fund.

Insurance and financial needs change as we enter different life stages. If nagkaanak, nag-asawa, lumaki ang sahod, lumaki ang expenses, nagkasakit, etc., better sit down with your financial advisor and re-assess. Do I have enough coverage? Are my goals still the same or did they change? Am I saving/investing enough to achieve these goals? Does my choice of investment fund complement the returns that I want?

Sorry, sis. napahaba. I know a lot of Girltalkers ay maalam na sa insurance. Just expounding my answer for the benefit of those na nagsisimula pa lang :)

Thank you, sis for the explanation.

I'm thinking of changing my health insurance from term to maybe VUL ng PRU Life, PEP low premium yata yun na which ever comes first but with fund value.

Question uli sis, can you tell me how much ang charge ng CCB vs LCB for 1M for 35 year old? I have one from Sunlife and their charges increase every 5 years.

Hirap pag nasa province, di basta basta maka meet ng FA's. :(

^ You mean sis yung accelerated ang Life Care Benefit or Crisis Cover Benefit?

Sige, sis. PM kita. Maybe we can Viber. This will waive your premium if you are diagnosed with a dreaded disease na covered sa LCB.

P.S. Like yung cancer, basta malignant, claim na agad.  Di required na naghihingalo.

Sis, I can't give you an exact figure unless I run a full proposal for  you. Yung charges namin sa LCB and CCB are included na dun sa total premium of the plan.

Let's say 40k ang premium mo, 40k na sya forever unless magtaas ka ng coverage then PruLife will recompute based on your attained age. If limited pay, no need to pay for the LCB and CCB rider pagkatapos ng paying period. What you see is what you get na sa proposal.

For Sunlife, rider charges are separate from the premium. In their limited pay products like Maxilink, yung illustration ay may assumption  that you will pay for the rider charges continuously, even if matapos yung premium paying period. I had a client with a Sunlife policy. Yun ang napansin ko when we did a policy review. It's hard to accurately recompute if magkano ang kalalabasan ng fund value if the client chooses not to pay for the rider charges.

P.S. Disclaimer lang. I'm not trying to malign Sunlife. My point is iba-iba ang product design ng companies that's why, sometimes, it's hard to give comparative values between products. :) Some would prefer yung design ni Sunlife where they could see the rider charges separately sa proposal. Some would prefer naman yung design ni Pru Life where rider charges are inclusive na sa premium. It's a matter of personal preference.

Hi, mga sis.
Sino sa inyo may Prulife Exact Protector 15? Tama ba understanding ko after 15 years, stop na ako mag monthly pay and insured na ako hanggang sa date of maturity nung policy (which is when I'm 99 years old)? May sinasabi kasi Yung agent ko before na since VUL sya, need ko pa din daw magbayad ng monthly para may funds para din sa investment portion even after 15 years. Salamat!

^Hi sis. Tama ka on several points.

1. PEP 15 is designed so that you will only have to pay for your premium in 15 years
2. Coverage is until maturity. For PruLife UK, maturity of life insurance coverage is until 100 years old.

hello. please wag ka matakot. just think of it as savings na makukuha mo once magretire ka. you have option naman to stop after 10 or 15 years. and if you have a good agent, hindi ka naman niya siguro papabayaan.

Hi sis,

Natatakot ka ba dahil baka di mo mabayaran until the end of time :)?

Ganito, sis. I think may basis ang fear mo if:

Depende ang desisyon mo sa financial needs mo at that time.

Please enlighten me if ever familiar kayo dito :) [textspeak!] bnbayad ko monthly, pwede ko un mawithdraw lahat after 10 or 15 years dba? and sabi may kasama daw un investment.
