Ano bang fund ang pinili nila sis for SPVUL? Baka naman nasa money market or bond fund? I'm from PruLife UK but let's not be quick to judge PhilamLife. Fund performance also depends on the type of investment chosen. Pag conservative funds, may chance for low returns especially if matanda na ang insured. SPVUL has minimum insurance coverage. May charges din ito.

For the 22 year old VUL product, please double check, sis. Pru Life UK pioneered VUL in the Philippines in 1996. That's 22 years ago so medyo may doubt ako kung VUL ba yung nakuha nila. Baka traditional product yan and 80k is the dividend earnings.

I used to have Philam VUL, after 10yrs I pulled out kasi 10% lang ang kinita.  I felt that it was too low given na nung kumuha ako nung 2008, the market was really down.  So, I shifted.  But I'm still maintaining my term insurance with them which I got when I was 21 yo.

^sorry Pru Life thread pala ito...

Sis, 10% annual return ba yan or 10% lang kinita ng principal amount nyo? 10% annual return is good enough kasi mag-cocompound yan. But 10% gain of principal amount is low. But as always, I am not quick to judge lest I know the whole picture. So may I ask kung anong fund yan? May I also ask kung anong product type? Like limited pay ba payable in 10 years? Usually kasi in VUL (for 10 year or more payment terms), you start seeing returns in your total principal amount after the 10th year or so. I'll explain why later when I have more time.

Muntik na ko mag Prulife agent, ok at kilala din naman siya ang pinaka malaki ang commission, but then mas believer ako ng sunlife interms of after service, claims and performance, so dun ako nagsign up and nag financial advisor kasi goal ko din naman is to purchase multiple policy for myself/my family.

Sis, every company has strengths and weaknesses. I could say a lot about other companies and why I chose to be an FA in Pru Life UK but I wouldn't go to that route simply because I believe that  the top 5 insurance companies are worthy of our hard earned money (but of course, depending on our preferences, some are more worthy than others). I work with Pru Life UK but my loyalty is with my clients, and part of that loyalty demands that I align myself with a company I believe to be an approximation of my ideal, which is Pru Life UK. Ang pangarap ko talaga is to be a broker para di ako tied down sa isang company. That way, I can offer the best products in the market to my client. But, a lot of clients are still not ready to pay separate fees to an independent agent so I compromise.

I had a client na rated sa Pru Life UK because of an eye condition so what I did is I told him to try with other companies first. Baka makuha nya ng standard rate. I even referred agents to him. Now, he's working on his applications with Sunlife. Kapg rated pa rin, we will try with Philamlife.  No income for me, but I wouldn't be able to sleep at night if I just forced him to get that rated plan without giving him another option. Bata pa kasi sya so I want him to try.

Now, I have another client na mid 50s na. He has diabetes, high cholesterol, borderline obesity, and history of brain infection. Rated sya. I asked him to get the Pru Life UK plan because I know na kahit saan syang company magpunta, he will be rated or worse, declined.  I worked for this application for more than 2 months. Some agents don't like medical cases like these but I really like working on them, pero sana wag naman lahat :)), 'cause I really feel that I'm helping people and families secure their future when they need it the most.

Pangarap ko pa rin ito dahil taas ng premium. May new packages kaya sila lalo nagka local endorser for the first time via LIza.

Yes, sis. Maganda ang  myDNA Pro bundle. You have coverage for life, disability, critical illness and accident with daily hospital income and waiver of premium in case of total and permanent disability. PLUS you will get the myDNA health program. A third-party company (HK based) will process your DNA file and recommend changes to your health habits based on a 44-page report. Ang maganda dito, pwedeng i-transfer yung myDNA health program sa iba so if may family member ka na sa tingin mo ay mas nangangailan ng program, pwedeng DNA nya ang i-process. Note that hindi makikita ni Pru Life UK ang report na ito so please don't worry that it will affect your plan. The report is for your eyes only.

This program is aimed to prevent you from contracting dreaded disease. Maganda na protected tayo pero mas maganda if we won't need that protection di ba?

You can learn more about myDNA pro here: https://www.prulifeuk.com.ph/mydnapro

^Correct, sis. MyDNAPro bundle is available for attachment to our existing products. For PAA or Pru Link Assurance Account Plus and PEP or Pru Link Exact Protector, the minimum premium is 70k. For our Pru Elite series, it's 75k.

Hi sisses!

I have a policy with PRU, 10 years to pay. I am on my 4th year palang. If ever I move to another country, what will happen to it? Sorry for the noob question.

Thank you!

^ Tuloy mo lang, sis. You can still get claims kahit nasa ibang bansa ka.  If VUL yan, you can treat the fund value as retirement fund para pag magbabakasyon ka sa Pilipinas, di ka na magpapapalit from dollar to peso (assuming na in peso yung plan mo). Better discuss din your plans with your agent so she can discuss claiming procedures with you. May extra step kasi if from overseas yung documents.

irita na kami ni hubby sa Pru Life agent namin, unfollow sa FB at kung pwede lang iblock sa Messenger hayss, masyado pushy sa mga new products or upgrade to the point that yung pagiging parents namin questionable na ata sa kanya  ::)  Lagi niyang binibida how she's one of the top agents, so ganun pala ways niya para maging top siya.
Like ko products ng Pru Life  pero kung pwede lang sana lumipat ng agent  >:(

Limited-pay plans namin sis ay PruLink Exact Protector and Pru Elite Protector series.

Since madaming time mangulit.  ;D
