Hi sis, yes allowed. But you need to be in the Philippine soil when you sign all the forms. You can pay your premiums via check or auto-debit anyway. :)

Hi sa mga agent sa PruLife. If wala nabenta ang agent, ma tanggal ba siya as agent?

Also, ano ang effect kung kunyare yung team na sasalihan mo nasa Cebu, pero clients mo and ikaw mismo, based ng Dagupan. Tapos, baka in about 5 years or so, mag sesettle ka sa Mindanao. Ano effect nito sa mga clients and accounts? Is this going to be a problem ba? Ano ang better scenario? Sa Mindanao ka nalang na team sumali? Or sa Dagupan? Sana hinde magulo question ko hehe. TIA!

Kakapasa ko lang as insurance agent! Pumasa ako sa dual license under Pru Life.

I think having an insurance is really a wise choice for your protection. Plus may investment component pa so it could also serve as savings.

Prulink Exact Protect (PEP) payable in 7, 10 or 15 years OR the Prulink Assurance Account (PAA) ang choices namin sa ngayon.

"The Total and Permanent Disability benefit accelerates a percentage of the sum assured"

Does it mean if I have a 1m sum assured w/ 500k TPD, yung 500k is mababawas sa 1m, so I'll have 500k (plus fund value) left when I die?

Hi, I noticed may Agent dito ng Pru Life, so magpost na din ako ng question ko.

My Husband and I recently got married (this year lang) so we are already planning of getting Insurances + Investments + properties, na afford namin of course.

I am already convinced to get my Insurance sa Philam Life, but I am looking for another one for my Husband. I have Insular and Pru Life in mind.

Here's the thing, Philam has as good package coverage with Family Secure, dahil yung face amount is maitatransfer sa investment fund (account value) mo later on, say when we reach 60, not all, pero halos 90 % as far as I understand.

Does Pru Life have this kind of package? If so, ano yun? Thanks!

Hi sis,

I'm a Pru Life UK agent. No, we don't have this kind of product as of the moment. But the thing here is you have to look at the details.  Most of our plans can give accelerated benefits. What does this mean? Say you have a sum assured amount of 1M. When you become totally and permanently disabled, you can have the option to get your sum assured and terminate the policy. You also have the option to get a portion of your sum assured. In this case, the policy stays intact.

Another detail to look here is the rate of return on your investments. Baka naman they assure you of getting back a portion of your sum assure but the rate of return is so low that break even lang with other companies kahit na ibalik nila. Lugi ka pa kasi the value of your money today will
be way way lower in you're 60s if you're in your 20's or 30's now.

What I will recommend is allow them to make a proposal to you, then compare with a Pru Life proposal. I'd be happy to assist you. Just send me a PM.

^True, ang kulit nung ibang Agents, don't know kung may points sila kung face to face meet up or via phone communications, based kasi abroad, hirap ng time difference and schedule, ang dalas nila maginsist na magusap sa phone or video. Mas comfortable ako sa chat and email kasi at least documented kumpara kung oo-han lang sya mga tanong ko pag voice call or video call.

Hmmm...your premium will be based on your age, gender, and sum assured. So itong quote na 18k for a 1M sum assured will not be applicable to all. What I can tell you it is possible to get a coverage for 18k up to a certain age. Pwede pa ring VUL (insurance plus investment) or pwedeng term insurance (coverage for a limited period).

Regarding sa mga agents na mahilig tumawag, I don't know all agents so di ko alam how they operate. What I can tell you is that Pru Life UK takes it name seriously. Prudent kami and I take pride in that. What does this mean? We always follow the international standards and the requirements set by the Insurance Commission. When we present fund projections, what you see is net of all charges.

How does prudence translate to how agents approach the clients? As Pru Life agents, we are trained to do an assessment on the needs of the clients so that we can give the best solution to you (Again, di ko alam if all agents comply to this). Our products are flexible so if you're agent is good, dapat she can maximize this flexibility to your advantage.  So that's why we are keen on discussing your concerns further. Mahirap mag-come up with an optimized proposal with so little info. Prudence also comes through full disclosure. Agents are required to disclose all charges and exclusions in your policy.

For me din, I want to know my client better kasi if ever she will get a product from me, we will have a lifelong relationship so at the minimum, I must see her once. I answer simple queries here in Girl Talk because when I started investing and doing financial planning years ago, some of the threads really helped me. So this is my way of giving back to the community. But when it comes to proposals, I prefer a thorough interview with the client first. :)

;D I work from home nga eh, nahihirapan ako yung kailangan makipagkita ng panay panay.

EDIT: Hi! I just want to correct my statement below. This quote is POSSIBLE for a VUL. I was running a different product when I checked kaya hindi nag-match. For a 25 year old nga, the premium could go as low as 16k/year. Regular pay sya, meaning continuous. However, you can take premium holidays once your fund value has enough funds to pay for your premium.

Are you referring to this sis?

Annual Premium: 18k
Mode of Payment: Whole life pero pwede up to 20 years lang or at age 60 lang
Sum insured: 1M
Total and permanent disability benefit: 1M
Accidental death and Diablement Benefit: 1M
Crisis cover benefit: 1M

This proposal is impossible for a VUL unless you're a minor. At wala kaming product na 20 years ang payment term.  Or may fixed payment term up to age 60.

Kung medyo maliit ang budget, we have a term insurance with a variable life rider so you also have an investment option. This will give you this kind of coverage for a low premium. Kung mas nakaluwag-luwag na, you can convert it to whole life VUL.

Crisis Cover will give you coverage if you are diagnosed with any of the 15 critical illnesses including cancer.
