glysolid_clarins – hi sis we have a lot of products but it depends sa need mo, that’s why financial consultant like me setting an initial presentation or appointment sa client first.  Meron kasi kami more on investment, meron din savings with insurance. Hospitalization meron like hospital income or for critical illness claim but it is different to health kasi yun hospitalization benefit nila is reimbursement type.

But I highly disregard na cut mo yun policy mo just because a small amount, kasi nastart mo na yan eh. What if something happened after a year, then tapos na contestability period mo, sayang naman..

queenteaser – hi sis, yep usually my projection sila pero since investment may risk, high risk high returns, pero proselling ng Pru Life is their fund manager which is eastspring investment (Singapore), number 1 asset management company sa asia. If you wish to have a meeting or discussion regarding this, I can meet you personally. :)

Stability wise sis, insurance commission required a very big amount sa isang insurance company bago maregister to sustain the business for the client claims , if si yellow company saying that twice as much nun required meron sila, si prulife 5 times lang naman, hope this help.

Hello! did anyone here try the online access to view their investments/policies?  I want to sign up but I'm missing some info. Tried asking my agent but she isn't that helpful.. The questions are asking the maturity date but walang nakalagay sa statement ko..

Hi, everyone!

Is anybody a client under the Pru Life Assurance Account Plus?
How is it naman?
I'm being offered one pero my concern is that I'll be paying for the plan ~forever~. Of course, there's an option to term the contract pero when you do, no more life insurance na rin. Unlike (I'm not sure, just correct me) with limited pay insurance (e.g. Exact Protector) where after N years, you are still covered up to 99 years old. So, parang you bought the plan, tapos may investment on the side.
I'm new to VULs so I'm still wrapping my head around the idea.
Wouldn't it be wiser to buy a life insurance and an investment fund separately?

Thank you!

- No you do not have to terminate your policy if you wish to
stop paying. You can just stop paying and it's called a "premium holiday"

Your policy will continue to be active and charges will continue to
accrue against your policy's fund value.

For more information, look at the proposal your agent gave you.

Under the "notes" section.

You'll see

6. The above illustration assumes that all premiums are paid in full when
due and as planned with no premium holiday, and assuming that the
current scale of charges remain unchanged.

Ergo this means you can opt not to pay and it is called a premium holiday.

- Some proposals actually include an illustration where it is assumed that
you took a premium holiday i.e. stopped paying so you could see how your
policy would fare.

- If you stopped paying, what are the consequences?
Nothing. The charges would still happen on schedule but if your
fund value ever goes down enough that it cannot absorb the monthly
charges then you'll be forced to top-up or let your policy lapse.

Please see note 4

4. The fund value may run out due to partial withdrawals and deduction
of charges. If the fund value is insufficient to pay for the policy fee,
insurance charge, rider charge and other applicable charges (including
any policy debt), the policy automatically terminates, subject to Note 5b
below.

^very nice said, most of the clients natatakot kasi for life daw magsasave pero come to think of it, diba dapat lagi naman tayo nagsasave. Pwede nga kahit after 15 years msmagstop kana tapos charge na lang yun insurance charges and others sa current fund value. Meron naman PruAcess online to check kung sufficient paba yun funds for the charges.

^sis you could check sa PruAccess kung meron ka na fund value, but i would suggest na continue mo na kasi baka hindi mo masabi bigla mo kailanganin yun benefits ng insurance mo.

^Thanks sis.

Since 2yrs palang ikaw naghuhulog, i think mababa pa fund value nyan.

^premium holiday tawag dun, ichacharge sa current fund value mo yun insurance charges, admin, policy and rider charge.
