I would like to bake but I don't have much time to work for it. Anyone here would love to suggest ng recipe na madali lang sya gawin? Thank you! :)

@babymeow04 you can substitute buttermilk sis, 1 cup of evap milk and 1 tablespoon of white vinegar..babad mo lang siya atleast 19 minutes bago mo imix sa ibang ingredients..
Ok naman siya sis.. i bought buttermilk before, kaso powder form lang available, mas gusto ko pa yung substitution..

Hi mga sis. Anyone po nakagamit na ng panasonic? Maganda po ba yung brand kesa sa imarflex 300s? San po ba pwedeng bumili na mura lang? May mga bazaar or convention po ba kayong alam? Thank you po.

Other than kitchenaid, ano kayang brand ng stand mixer ang ok? May mga nakita ako sa lazada but not sure which one is ok. Mahal kasi kitchenaid e di ko naman inenegosyo ang baking. Para lang sana sa family and friends...

Hi mga sis..im a bit confused kasi.. what type of cake iyong nasa goldilocks/redribbon? Kasi iyong ginagawa ko is chiffon type, its a bit dense right? Bakit iyong nasa goldilocks soft and airy siya then sa red ribbon naman very moist iyong cake itself..mas marami ba eggwhites?(for soft and airy)..panoo po maging moist ang cake?TIA...

^ sis depende kung anong cake yan.. pag chiffon, airy yun so expect na maraming egg white ang recipe nun. you incorporate or fold air by whisking the batter. pero yung moist na cake, di yun chiffon kasi eto yung dense ng konti. not sure kung pano nagiging moist pero i noticed pag may buttermilk or sourcream ang recipe and ma-butter or oil, mas moist ang cake..

if i'm going to bake an 8"x 3" chiffon cake sis, ilang eggwhite s kailangan?..gamit ko kasi 7 large eggs..is it enough na? Same lang kasi siya with the amount/pieces of eggyolks sa recipe..

^ sorry sis di ako sure jan.. hindi pa ako expert sa measurement ng pan against sa dami ng eggs na gagamitin. but if your recipe calls for 7 eggs, that looks more than enough for an 8x3 cake pan. kakapal kasi yung cake batter once you start folding the beated egg white to your cake batter mixture with egg yolk.

hi sisses! i started baking 2013, cakes yung mga napagdiskitahan ko.

pero these past 6 months i've been decorating cookies with royal icing, my husband and I have turned it into a small business (made-to-order cookie giveaways)

sharing you my blog about cakes and cookie decorating, baka lang may mga katulad ko na cookie decorating enthusiasts. I love using royal icing kahit challenging syang ihandle. :-)

hi sis momentum! thanks naman, nakakatuwa!

re the cookies, madali lang magpiping once you get the hang of it, pinakabasic dun yung shinare ko sa blog entry na latest, pag natuyo na yung surface ng cookie na nilagyan mo ng royal icing, you can design the cookie any which way you want :-) share ko paunti unti sa blog yung mga natutunan ko :-)

kaso nga lang ang recipe ng ginagamit ko for royal icing has egg whites. maybe you can use meringue powder, kung ok yun for vegeterians like you? three options kasi yan-- raw egg whites, powdered egg whites (not a very good option) or meringue powder (which can be bought sa baking supplier stores). medyo pricey nga lang ang meringue powder pero if for personal use, ok na ok naman sya sa budget kasi may mga tingi niyan :-)
