Penge naman tips para mas maging masarap since second time ko palang itatry magbake :) TIA!

Use big frosting tips. Those are the ones that gives impact. Magastos lang sa frosting. ;)

^ Sis Mistiqshannen, practice makes perfect. But your frosting looks nice na nga eh. :) The higher the frosting, of course, mas madaming frosting ang kailangan. I read from baking blogs that if you want stunning looking frosting, use double recipe. But too much frosting, nakakaoverwhelm na eh. Pang show lang sya talaga. Hehe HTH. :)

Sis Evilwoman, ako, I only use 4 cupcake pans. Yung 1dozen per pan. I can fit two cupcake pans sa oven ko eh. Usual baking time for cupcake is 20-25 minutes so by the time matapos yung nakasalang, I've transferred the baked ones in the cooling rack, lined the pans again with cupcake liners (no need to wash the pans kasi naka paper liners kana eh), filled the liners with batter (use an ice scream scoop as this will give you uniform-sized cakes and saves you time too) and then you'll just put the pans in the oven. Then repeat ka lang ulit ng process. :)

If I were you, buy the pans na. Mura lang naman. Sa love2bake (they have fb account), they have yung Standard Muffin Pan 12's 3oz at 120pesos lang. Yung Arrow na brand, aluminun to, 220pesos. Yung arrow ang gamit ko. Yung regular pan ata, can't be sure though, kinakalawang. So invest kana sa aluminum. Dispose talaga after use. You decide sis. When I was starting baking, sa tools ako nag invest. ;)

Thanks maika14, i think ganyan na talaga ang frosting no pag cream cheese and diskarte nalang on piping..

Nga pala mga sis... I have a recipe from internet on making sugar cookies.
so i need to lower down the sugar.. maybe half? or sobra naman? if babawasan ko ba yun sugar
sa recipe na ito lalabas padin maganda yun dough? and since me royal icing na sya on top
ng cookies tatamis na masdyado diba.. can i make the sugar 1/2 cup nalang?

3 cups (390 grams) all purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup (227 grams) unsalted butter, room temperature
1 cup (200 grams) granulated white sugar
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract

and for royal icing also can i lower also the sugar and will still make the same? and saan nakakabili ng meringue powder?

Royal Icing Using Meringue Powder:
4 cups (440 grams) confectioners' (powdered or icing) sugar, sifted
3 tablespoons (30 grams) meringue powder
1/2 teaspoon almond extract (optional)
1/2 cup - 3/4 cup (120 - 180 ml) warm water
Food Coloring (I use Gel Pastes that can be found at cake decorating and party stores or else on-line)

Sis Mistiqshannen, follow the recipe. If you lessen the sugar, your cookies will break, worse, crumble apart. The sugar will keep it together (once the sugar melts in the oven) and make your cookies crunchy. Follow the recipe too for the icing. Ang frosting kasi ng sugar cookies hardens after a while. Yun ang kanyang definitive characteristic. Hard, crunchy biscuit with hard colorful icings. I hope you know what I mean. :D For the meringue powder, available yan sa baking stores. I'm not sure if they sell by small quantities. When I tried buying, they were selling me 250gms. Medyo mahal pa naman. So I didn't buy. You can check which ingredient you can substitute sa meringue powder. Egg whites usually. Or find another recipe that doesn't require meringue powder. Madami sa net. ;)

Sis Twenty5, may mga baking classes ang mga baking supplies store like chocolate lovers or even Maya. Check their websites or inquire thru phone. Wala lang ata ngayon kasi peak season. But try checking with them, baka meron pa din this month.

Sis Virgogirl, why mo inulit yung pag preheat? And when you try to light the burner again, nakupo! YOU COULD HAVE HAD A MAJOR ACCIDENT!  :o :o I'm glad you're safe. :) Anyway, for preheating, matagal talaga. Since bago palang si oven mo, it would take a few trial and error bago kayo magkaintindihan. Tatagal ang baking time kung MALI ang oven temp mo to start with. Sabi mo nga, namatay yung apoy. Buy an oven thermometer. That's the best tip I can give you.

Or nasobrahan ka ng mix therefore creating bubbles. When those bubbles rise to the top, nagkakaron ka ng porous layer sa ibabaw. Kaya nagiging crispy. Or it could be that the undissolved sugar rose to the top, also resulting in crispy layer. Mix mo lang ng konti (not vigorously) pa yung batter mo before adding the flour. Daming reasons eh. :) Trial and error talaga.

For the merigue powder, pwede din sya sa cheesecake. If I were you, eggwhites nalang. Find a recipe that would require you to "cook" the egg whites by using the double boiler method. Egg whites generally are safe to consume as long as the preparation is good.

^Sisses,

Quick benchmark lang po.

How much is a good market price for a dozen of oatmeal chocolate chip cookies?

I used Quaker instant oatmeal, Mayfair chocolate chips, Maya all purpose flour, Anchor butter, white/brown sugar, eggs, P9.00/pc of window box, gift tag and pink 3in. ribbon as band.

I am still computing, kaso kalat-kalat mga resibo ko. :)

TIA!

oo nga how much should we cost cupcakes also? brownies etc. Assuming na nacost mo na yun puhunan mo per piece Plus gas? magkano ba dapat ang cost sa gas? then from there ilang % ang need na mark up from puhunan?
