Caterer Review: K By Cunanan (Part II)

^Hi sis kittybabe Try to weigh the pros and cons so you can decide. What we did is we computed the cost between hotel and venue +caterer. Turned out na cheaper pag yung venue+caterer.
With K by C din kasi magaling din sila sa styling so medyo sulit na sila.

^yep sis andee_gurl, i made an excel sheet with the hotels shortlisted vs venue + caterer with the inclusions/freebies/corkage if meron.

 if i'll go for caterer + venue, kukunin ko talaga si kbyc. december 2014 pa wedding ko but as early as now medyo nase-stress na ako coz i dont have a reception yet...but im giving myself until december this year to decide. hehe.

Btw, what do you mean by closing the deal? LOL din kasi kami at nagpunta kami sa KbyC para sa FT at maconvince si Fiance na sila yung kunin. Tapos yung reservation and payment sa LOL mga transactions.
Hindi na kami nagreserve pa sa KbyC.

Hi everyone! newbie here I just wanted to share my experience with KbyC

Our wedding in on Jan 2015 pa but we had our food tasting with KbyC earlier today.  Ayaw kasi namin ma-stress so we're trying to book our major suppliers by this year na.  Our AE is Katrina, she's super nice and she responds to emails agad.  I got in touch with them through FB and then I called their number.  In one day may na-email nag email na siya sakin and we were able to get a sched for the food tasting na. We were scheduled last Tuesday but since the weather was really bad na-resched siya and Katrina emailed me at 6:30 am to inform me. 

As for the food, nasarapan naman kami, so we booked them na kanina

If you guys wanna schedule a taste test, you can call them first kasi may schedules sila na set: that's 10:30, 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm, tuesdays-thursdays lang.

From what I know they're also participating in a food taste event with several other caterers in blue leaf on September 1

Best to book kbyc during bridal fairs coz they give freebies like additional dessert. My AE told me that they are joining the bridal fair on Sept 21-22 at the SMX convention.

^^sis caramel899, did they lock the price for you since 2015 pa wedding mo? i'm a 2015 bride too and am wondering if they lock the price if you book them as early as now. i sent them a message in facebook pero 'til now wala pa rin reply.

sabi kasi ng AE namin sa LOL para ma sure na si KbyC makuha namin try ko rin to get in touch with KbyC directly kasi minsan daw matagal mag reply pag LOL ang mag contact sa kanila. madami kasing clients KbyC.

when we booked LOL kasi di pa kami sure kung KbyC or Hizons. So ngayon na decided na kami, i want to make sure na available pa KbyC sa date ng reception namin. nadala kasi ako sa experience ko sa oasis manila.

Hi sis traveltechie! Nope wala din price lock for us and our AE told us that agad.  Pero from what I know hindi ganun kalaki tinataas nila, yun din sabi sakin ng events manager namin from blue leaf 

Sis IAMkrish, may set menu sila for the day tapos once you've booked and you've chosen your dishes na, may tasting kayo ulit pero this time yun na yung actual menu niyo. Usually daw sabay yun sa presentation final mock up

Sis IAMkrish - For initial FT, KbyC will serve you their "Best Seller" food, like their Honey nut prawns, carrot rice, etc. actually madami silang iseserve, I'm not going to list everything unless you want to know ano yung mga nagustuhan naming food, then I can send/pm you my reviews. Tapos RE: packages, EA will ask you naman anong budget nyo. they will work on within your budget then kung may add-ons kayo mapag uusapan naman. Once you're settled with the food choices nyo, final FT na kau kasabay na ng final detailing din. HTH!

Hello, ask ko lang kung kamusta yung AE niyo? i know kasi madami sila clients... pero talaga bang matagal sila magreply? 4 days na kasi since i emailed pero wala pa din response..

mabilis naman silang magreply sakin. Baka nagkataon lang na marami silang ginagawa that time. I love their prawns...nagcrave ako a day after ko matikman

just wanted to share mga sis...kung kelan ready na ako to book kbyc as our caterer, my AE said that they are fully booked on our wedding date and to think December 2014 pa yun...and this is another heartbreak for me...sob...

yes sis j.adore, peak date talaga ang 12.13.14. i tried asking my AE baka kaya nila mag-handle ng 5 weddings since next year pa naman ito, pero sabi sa akin max na daw ng kbyc ang 4 weddings a day. nafi-feel ko na talaga ang pressure sa paghahanap ng suppliers for our wedding date kaya i have to move fast...
