Caterer Review: K By Cunanan (Part II)

We had our mom's suprise birthday party catered by KbyC. My only concern was that, the leftover food (super dami as in) weren't given to us despite the fact that i saw Jieza gave instructions to their staff to pack it for us to take home (I wasn't able to eat kasi  and sayang yun ha, expensive kaya ako kasi nagbayad  )

 i don't know if it was on our ends fault for not overseeing it or nag enjoy na ang staff nila since umuwi na si Jieza kasi tapos na yung event.

^^uh-oh.. Ang sama naman nun sis, u already paid for the food eh. 
And hindi porket wala na yung ae, kakalimutan na nila yung kailangan nilang gawin. Diba yun naman talaga ang process? What's left sa food na binayaran, ibbigay dun sa client? Kailangan pa bang irequest yun?

May mga pinack naman po, kaya lang parang rice & fish lang na pina kain ko na lang din sa mga maglilinis. The food that we asked for was good for 220 pax. Konti ng dumating so imagine ang natira na food. Na di namin alam san nagpunta. Pero just sharing mga sis yun lang talaga naging problem, overall naman everything was great! Jieza is super =)

^ I've heard some reviews din about their food once the program/party ay tapos na eh nawawala yung mga food to think alam nilang madami pa dapat yun kasi konti lang ang guests. I have this plan already in mind na have someone to supervise the buffet area and/or kitchen. Pero sana naman whoever getting those food naman either KbyC staff or not, grabe naman ang kapal ng mukha. IMO! We paid for the food that we supposed to enjoy even at the end of the program, pero mawawala nalang. Lalo na sa couples (bride and groom) na typically hindi makakain mismo sa reception program. Sana hindi magkaproblem ng ganto smin

Mas mura ang rate nila for birthday event. In my opinion though, mas sulit ang wedding package nila. I still got them though.

They have different rates eh. Meron sila kiddie meals (bday packages), meron lunch & dinner menu, tapos meron for cocktails. I got the lunch menu for my mom's birthday, yung lowest package nila.

sis missuguerrero i dont remember everything, i really have a bad memory & my brother was the one who chose our menu kasi iniba nya lahat ng last minute. Eto mga naaalala ko,
soup - Broc & cheese
Salad - its like a tex mex salad
Appetizers - pork & chicken wrap
Pasta & Main dishes - ill try to recall
Dessert - white choco cake (SUPER!!!)
            - crepe

Hi mga sis! We just recently booked blue leaf for our jan 2015 wedding. We are also getting k by cunanan as our caterer. I need some advise lang from our other sis here na kinuha ang kbyc as part of the package offered by blue leaf. Nag bayad pa lang kami ng reservation sa blue leaf 1 week ago and after 30 days we need to pay 50% of the total cost na. We reserved for the banyan pavillion instead of the silk pavillion for 200 pax. We found out kc na pag 200 pax ang guests sa silk pavillion, ang buffet set-up will be outside na. I hope to hear some insights from you sisses. Tia!

monique is the ae who responded to my email inquiry. she asked me nga if i want to do the food tasting na so that i could already book her sa bridal fair sa smx on september 21 and 22. sana lang may mabakante ako na week day to do this. sa mga sisses who have done food tasting na with them, meron ba ako dapat ispecify sa ae before going there?

alam nyo ba if pwedeng umorder ng white choco cake sa kanila? naadik kasi ako bigla dun, gusto ko sana magpasadya eh. May physical store ba sila?

Two thumbs up for KbC. Panalo yung food and superb ang styling. super ok si Winona na AE. Lahat ng pinag-usapan namen during the mock setup is nasunod. SHe was very generous din during the food tasting kasi nahihirapan kameng mamili, so she lets us taste halos lahat nung mga pinagpipilan namen.  Wala din kameng additional na bayad for all our request. hubby and I are super happy with them, as well as all our guests. Isang issue lang siguro is sa excess food.Sabi kasi samen wala ng natirang food after the part, but we had an excess of almost 20 head counts.  My advice is to aassign someone from your family to check if may tira pang food pag patapos na yung reception just to see if may maiuuwi pa kau at di sila yung mag-uuwi. sayang kasi, binayaran nyo na yun.

Sis Cutee_xxx, nice to hear to great that. Anyway, pwede ba malaman kung ano-ano yung mga request nyo na hindi na kayo pinagbayad. Just to have an idea. Masarap mag request pero ayaw ko naman sila ma-offend pag sumobra ako.

just had our initial food tasting at kbyc and winona is my AE as well. she's so nice talaga and i dont have to wait that long when she replies to my emails (2 days max). i asked her about any set-up for the DIY candy buffet and she said that they could provide the jars and the table set-up na. then i asked what if the candy runs out during the reception, natuwa lang ako when she said that she would be there to do the refill, just let her know where the candy would be. she's such a sweet girl. na-confuse tuloy ako lalo if i'll get them plus venue or stick with a hotel reception...sigh...
