In my opinion, the best way to get the most out of combi tours is to just pick out the BEST of the sites in Tour A, then pick out the BEST sites in Tour C then just go there, don't go to ALL the sites in A & C tapos madalian lang so di niyo ma-enjoy. So might as well spend quality time on the best sites. Yan ang balak namin gawin.


So the question is, which are the best sites? Sisses who have been to both A & C, we need your help here. For me personally, snorkeling ang trip ko so alin ba ang best snorkeling sites in A & C? Thanks!

We already experienced the tour A and tour C, talagang pinaghiwalay namin ng dalawang araw para makita namin talaga ang lahat ng islands of both tours. Dahil pag combi tours, expected talaga na may mamimiss ka, for me the best in Tour A are the lagoons, for snorkeling, you can ask your guides kung saang spot pwede. For Tour C, my favorite..  , ang nagustuhan ko is the Hidden beach, Colasa beach, near colasa beach pwede rin magsnorkeling dahil may makikita kang mga turtles, and the Secret beach. They say na maganda pala ang underwater ng helicopter island kaya maganda magsnorkeling. Hindi naman nagawa yun dahil chill and beach bum lang kami sa helicopter island noon nandun kami. Kaya sayang..

^^Hi sis meimei, for me ito ang best sites:

Tour A - Big lagoon, small lagoon, Simizu Island
Tour C - Hidden beach, Matinloc shrine

The best site for snorkeling is Cadlao island, pero tour D siya. Pero baka pwede niyo sabihin sa guide na isingit.

For me kasi, ang El Nido hindi siya masyadong pang-snorkeling. More on beach bumming, sightseeing and kayaking siya.

Sis meimei paghiwalayin nyo Tour A at C kasi magaganda sites dyan.

In terms of snorkeling, wala masyado sa El Nido. Ang pinaka maganda na ay yung sa Cadlao Island at sa Helicopter Island.

Joining the thread mga sis. Just got our tickets going to PP on November. Plan sana namin ni hubby to go to El Nido and try to squeeze in yung Underground river sa itinerary. 4D/3N kami. Possible kaya mga sis? Also, kaya po ba ng diy itinerary and kami nlang magbobook ng hotels and transpo or better po through travel agencies? 2 lang po kaming magtratravel, would you recommend na private yung tours or with other groups? Thank you!

Wow sisses! Thanks for the tips! Very helpful. Though medyo na-sad ako na onti lang ang really good snorkeling sites. Looks like i will definitely have to include Cadlao Lagoon!


5D/4N naman kami so we can accommodate 3 tours, kasi day 1 late na dating namin and day 5 ay maaga alis. So nalilito pa ko sa 3 options na to:


Option 1: combined A&C, B, D
Option 2: combined C&D, A, B
Option 3: combined A&B, C, D


Because we can accommodate 3 tours kaya todo-research ako para i can decide alin ang ico-combine. Since we're a big group, we can do a private tour so no issues in combining, we can dictate which sites we want to visit.

Just got home from our 6 days tour in Palawan. I fell in love with El Nido, sobra. Will definitely come back baka sa december puro El Nido na lang wala ng side trip sa PPS. Although superb din ang experience sa UR tour and ugong rock, nacapture talaga ng El Nido ang puso ko. 

In our case tama ang choice namin na mag combi tour, nakapag in land tour pa kami at nakapunta ng falls at nacpan beach. Sobrang ganda. Kasama sa experience yung 30 minutes trek papuntang falls at  ang 2 hrs bumpy road to nacpan. Ang saya. Regarding accomodation, i'll recommend yung mga hotel or inns sa corong-corong if you are not the type of person na gusto mag party palagi. Mas feel kasi ang nature kasi tahimik kesa kung sa town. Nag stay kami sa Telesfora, beachfront room. Very accomodating yung owner pati yung anak nya na talagang nag-asikaso sa'min. Madaling silang kausap at very much concern sa needs ng guests. Yung anak nung owner yung nag-ayos ng trip namin to Nacpan. He only asked 450 pesos pang gas lang daw sa tatlong motor ng mga barkada nya, ususally 1500 daw singil ng tricycle papuntang nacpan so sobrang mura talaga ang offer sa'min. First time ko mag back ride sa motor pero I felt very safe. Magagaling mag drive at mindful sa safety ng pasahero. Pagdating ng Nacpan breathtaking ang view, walang katulad.

Isa pa, mababait ang locals. No wonder maraming foreigners and local tourist ang piniling mag stay sa El Nido for life. Imagine, in a span of 3 days we found new friends. Mula resort owners to tricycle drivers wala ka masabi sa ugali.

Di pa rin ako makapag move-on.  I guess tama yung sinabi nung isa nating sis dito na you'll kinda feel brokenhearted once you leave El Nido.

2 lang kase kame magtravel to el nido in november, still thinking if mag eulen van kami or roro, personally i want to try roro para hindi tourist-y ang dating, haha kaso nga daw mas matagal byahe. nag van ba kayo sis? sabi kase sa nbabasa kong blogs masikip daw pag van and matagal magantay ng pasahero unlike sa roro na may schedule yung departure

^eulen joy sinakyan ko sis. depende siguro kung anong oras kayo byahe pa-elnido. kasi dating ko 2pm sa PPS, eh ganong oras pala wala masyadong pasahero kaya hinintay ko pa yong nagpabook na 7 pax galing UGR, no choice eh. kaya 6pm na kami nakaalis. maluwag naman since 8 lang kami at dahil solo ako, sa frontseat ako umupo. pag umaga nasusunod talaga yong sched, 30 minutes lang waiting time.

nong galing kasi ako el nido eulen joy din sinakyan ko 9am sched, 5 pax lang yata kami pero 9:30 umalis na kahit konti lang. yong RORO 9:00am umalis pero naabutan pa namin sa daan & nag-overtake pa kami sa sobrang bagal

How about cherry bus? Dun kami sumakay from el nido to PPS. Nung galing kasi kami PPS papuntang El Nido nagvan kami kaso sobra kami nahilo kaya pinili na lang namin mag bus nung pabalik.

how about best seafood dining in El Nido? based from what i researched so far, ito yung mga plano naming kainan (4 nights kasi kami doon so we want to have dinner in four different restaurants):

1. Sea Slugs
2. Alternative
3. Squidos
4. Altrove or Art Cafe (but i read somewhere na over-rated yata ang Art Cafe so we might go for Altrove na lang)


how about the others? aling restaurant ang mare-recommend ninyo and any specific dishes you really loved? foodies kasi kami kaya i'm really reseaching this din.

yes sis, tigil operation ang RORO sa ngayon. You can try Cherry Bus. May scheduled departure ang mga bus dun sis pero along the way nag sasakay sila ng pasahero so dun tumatagal. Ok din naman ang Eulen Joy kasi mabilis, kaso medyo nakaka hilo for me

^yes, umorder ako ng buttered crab & walang lasa. para lang syang steam na nilagyan ng konting butter na madaming sabaw. hehe! so sayang naman kung di ko kakainin yong 1/2 kilo na crab kaya dinaan ko na lang sa sawsawan

nag-ikot ako nong dinner pero tinamad na akong pumunta ng squidos hilltop kaya sea slugs uli bagsak ko. inihaw na pusit inorder ko & enjoy naman habang may acoustic band

I'd say ditch Sea Slugs and go for Altrove AND Art Cafe If you really want seafood fest, pwede mo ring tignan 'yung pagpapaluto sa resort ninyo. Since hindi naman full service hotel yung accommodation naman noon, nagbigay na lang kami ng pamalengke and nagpaluto sa kanila (P350 service charge). Hipon and fish galore for less than P1000. May kasama ng prutas and unlimited rice. Bet sana namin ang lobsters noon kaya lang wala raw available.

Pero syempre if gusto mo talaga sa town and dinner by the beach, maraming magkakahilera doon na pwede kang magpaluto (malapit sa Sea Slugs).
