Hi, mga sis! My parents and I are going to Palawan on November, 3D2N lang. 930 AM ng Nov. 13 ang arrival namin then 3 PM ng Nov. 15 ang departure. My mom has been to the UGR and Honda Bay so we're not keen on seeing those.

Was thinking kung possible ang itinerary na ito:

Nov. 13
930 AM - Arrival sa Puerto Princesa, diretso na kami sa El Nido
3 PM (estimate ko lang) - Arrival sa El Nido

Nov. 14
Island hopping - whole day
6 or 7 PM - Travel back to El Nido

Nov. 15
AM - City tour

What do you think sisses? Doable kaya ito? At papayag kaya 'yung agency na makakausap namin if ever kung babalik kami ng gabi ng Nov. 14?

Hi sa mga pumunta sa el nido. Malalim ba yung mga tours doon? gaano kalalim? abot tao ba yung sea bed? Sa coron kasi sobra lalim ng mga tours doon kaya mostly yung mga kasama namin sa bangka lang nag stay.

Manila to PPS ang recommended, 7 hrs boat trip from coron-el nido and malalaki ang alon.

Weve been in El Nido last June 1-4, We take Roro bus from Puerto Princesa to El Nido which takes 5 and half hour. I recommend to take van pabalik kasi ang mas marami hinihintuan. Kay Northern Hope kami kumuha ng Package, from accomodation to tour package,  they give discount at okei ang mga tourist guides at assistants nila. Nakakabilib sila mag prepare ng food. Worth the wait sa byahe. Superb views, babalik kami.

pa help mga sis..oct. 2 pa naman ang punta namin sa el nido,pero nag aayos na kasi ako ng budget namin since apat kami ( parents, and wid my tito) at sagot ko hehe.
1.)ano po ang mas ok, ang mag rent na lang ng bangka or mag avail ng package tours?
2.)pwede pa po ba ang combi tours?
3.)magkano po ang mag rent ng bangka?

i'm currently trying to decide on where to go for our next snorkeling trip next summer... El Nido was one of my considerations, but i've read some blogs that it was waaaayyy too touristy and that when you go boating and go to the snorkeling site, that there are toooooo many people crowded in the same snorkeling site... any thoughts on this?

^Siguro visit na lang kapag hindi pa super peak season. If snorkeling is what you want, maybe you may also want to consider Coron. I've read somewhere na mas okay ang underwater sa Coron pero better ang beaches sa El Nido. I've only been to Coron and puro open water sites ang tour. We'll be visiting El Nido at the end of this month so that's the only time I can judge hehe.

OT: Maybe you can look for deals in Deal Grocer for honeymoon+snorkeling? Daming magagandang deals doon for couples.

But if you have the money, the time, and the energy, sagarin mo na ang Palawan  Start from Puerto Princesa tapos El Nido tapos Coron! Sarap. Haha. Pero pinaka-"touristy" and Puerto Princesa in my opinion.

Hi sis momlory! Tours A and C is more of swimming,both have deep and shallow waters. The tour guides are assistive so if you are not fond of swimming, you can ask for help from them for example like in Tour C (in entering the Secret Beach-which has deep waters before entering the hole especially if the boat is far from the entrance) Try to book with Northern Hope,they have one of a kind and friendly tour guides so far

@Sis ohcmon, do-able po un tour niyo but I'm not sure if the agency will allow this, so better do it yourself itinerary na lang po gawin niyo since it seems na ganun naman po ang gusto niyo

@Sis bebesko, I'm not aware how much is the rate of the boat during low season. But combi tours are going to be available according to a tour guide during low season to attract more tourists. You can compare the price of package tours as to how many you are in a boat. Because some tour operators might charge you higher if you are going to rent a boat.

Went to El Nido a few weeks ago, and also last year in the summer. Yeah, there were a few boatloads of tourists, but I never considered it too touristy (hindi kagaya ng Boracay di ba, grabe lang). I think the El Nido boatmen themselves, they try to figure out ways not to cram too many people into one site at a time. Kagaya na lang our boatmen, who waited for a few minutes for the other boats to leave tapos dun lang kami pumunta sa secret beach or wherever, o kaya they tried to find a spot on the beach na hindi busy. Yeah, there would be times na medyo madami ngang tao, but not overwhelmingly so na hindi ka na mage-enjoy. I'm sure may times rin naman na kayo lang at one area (the moments when feel na feel ko ang El Nido, haha). Ewan ko kung ano months ang superpeak nila, but for early March last year and late May/early June this year, ok naman ang crowd.

Pinaka-ayoko sa trips namin sa El Nido were the van rides. Haay. Cramped seats, the stopovers were at places I didn't wanna eat at (sorry, maarte lang), nahilo ako and nearly threw up the last time, at may time pa nga na may nakatabi ako na may pagka-manyak. Waiting for the day that there would be cheap direct flights to that town!

Sisses ano pa ibang tour agencies bukod sa Northern Hope? Sent them an initial email and I got a response after a week, now it's been two weeks since my second email pero wala pa rin. Ganun ba talaga sila katagal magrespond?

nope, hindi naman so touristy. dahil na rin sa hindi madaling puntahan kaya mas konti ang tao kesa boracay and bohol.
pero, sad to say, hindi maganda masyado ang underwater. hindi naalagaan ang corals. better to snorkel in coron or balicasag island in bohol.

malalim ba ang mga tours sa el nido? Baka meron kayong ma recommend na tour na hindi malalim.

^^in our experience naman mas ok para sa amin ang underwater ng el nido. saw sharks and sea turtles while snorkeling sa hindi kalayuan at kalaliman yun ha. hindi namin ito nakita sa coron.

depende na lang siguro sa area na pag-snorkeling or pag-divan. sa Simizu at sa helicopter island super ganda ng marine life. saka sa pangalusian.
