yes, sis. dapat focus ka muna sa longer term benefits ng working in a hospital. at tulad ng sabi mo may pay naman yung training mo. ang tendency kase pag nag work ka sa BPO healthcare company, hindi mo maiiaalis sa isip mo yung chance na mag work sa hospital. lagi yun nasa back ng mind mo. so why not try the hospital setting na lang muna. buti ka nga sis may chance ka to work sa hospital. maraming nurses graduate ngayon na unahan sa pila sa hospital. tapos madalas wala pang bayad yung training. swerte na yan. wag mo na palampasin.
Two questions to ask yourself:1. Do you really want to be a nurse? -- it's one thing to be a registered nurse, and another thing to want to be a nurse the rest of your life. May iba kasi na nasama lang sa agos noong maging uso ang nursing, but their passions lay elsewhere. 2. Can you manage well enough for 2 months (maybe more) without compensation? -- mukha namang kaya mo since you just resigned from your previous work. you won't be a burden to your parents like you initially feared. Kung pinili mo ang ospital at maabsorb ka afterwards, then great. Kung hindi, at least may exposure ka ulit sa clinics, and there is always an option to look for opportunities in other institutions (or countries) if you realize nursing is your calling after all. BPOs will be around long after the 2-month hospital stint is done. Remember, though, na kahit maganda ang pay at benefits ng BPO jobs, unstable pa rin ito.
