There is always 2 sides to a coin. Ika nga, at least 2 cuento or versions to any event.
Happiness nila, who are we to judge? Or, another view is to say: eh kelangan gastosan nya to get the girl, or to keep the girl.
(Don't look at me to provide the label/s; di ko type mabato dito.)
Now, for that other guy who swallowed line hook and sinker his GF's logic na ilagay sa name ni GF alone ang property.....Hindi bilmoko appropriate tawag kay GF.
IF I were the GF, ang tawag sa akin eh, teka, may multiple choice: wise, forward thinking, astute, practical (very), magulang, opportunista, maswerte!
At ang tawag ko naman sa ex BF ko: my ex fiancee, the sucker.
Peace! Call a spade a spade.
So these should be lessons to us all.
-- best to provide for your own caprichos. That is the new empowerment! that you can afford your way through this world and spend for your own beautiful life.
For the guys, hwag rubberband mentality. Yung give/stretch; tapos snap pabalik in kind or in harsh words. It is only you yourself who can protect yourself from being exploited/driven to 1-digit bank balances. It is only you yourself who knows how much you wanna spend to get what you want, or to keep what you want to enjoy. Everything has its price; so mind your return on investment. Be attentive to your spending so you do not experience buyers' remorse. Hwag kang iiyak, you are a big boy na. Charge it to experience na lang; but learn from it.
