allowed ba ang monopod/tripod sa carry-on luggage?

@Jaguar.Paw hindi allowed ang monopod at tripod sa carry-on. parang umbrella kailangan isama sa check-in. dati nung hindi pa sikat ang monopod nakaka lusot pero ngayon hindi na.

wala naman akong problema with my monopod. I always pack it in my carry on both international (my recent one was to Sydney a week ago) and domestic (now in Bohol) flights.

^pwedi naman sis. I've done it last December.  I brought 1 rim of cigarettes for one of my friends, from Manila to London. Yun lang nga nakakatakot if the immigration officers decided to random check your luggage.

^1ream is the limit for London. If matapang ka you can bring 2reams pero kapag nacheck ka, lahat kukunin.

Thanks sis, what about chocolates at bisquit allowed ba sa hand carry? Hindi na kasi kasya sa checked in ko di na maisara kaya ilagay ko sana sa carry on luggage oks lang ba?

i will be visiting japan next month and super anxious ako paalis and pabalik sa pinas. i will just be shopping for some makeups and probably a bottle or 2 of sunblocks and other cosmetic/beauty stuff, some cookies and chocolates as pasalubong and maybe shoes and clothes na mabibili ko sa japan.

pwede ba ito sa hand carry? also, may sinabi sa akin na may idedeclare pa ako sa customs?

what are the things that i should declare ba? i will be carrying 30k Yen and some few thousand pesos in my bag, some clothes din ..

should i declare the cosmetics i bought for personal use? itatax ba nila ako for these items?

^basta personal use no need to declare the goods. Wag lang sobrang dami ha yung tipong pwede na i-consider na commercial quantity (usually 8-10 of the same kind).

No LAGs (liquid, aerosol, gels or creams) in containers more than 100ml is allowed in carry ons. Check in mo na yung sunblock mo if they're in containers more than 100ml. Total LAGs in carry ons should not be more than 1 liter or  100ml X 10. If smaller containers total should still be 1 liter.

Thick cling-wrap on the check-in baggage and hindi masyadong madaming carry on, kung maari isang napakaliit na handbag lang enough to carry your passport and wallet, and quick feet and eyes.

If it were me, I will just hold my passport, cling-wrapped wallet and phone by hand. No more jackets and coats, sweater and scarf lang to keep me warm. A top that will cover my jeans pocket if any. Praning lang. Kung minalas, I will just call a lawyer. Of course, mumurahin ko muna sila.

Ingat din nanay mo sa porter. Kakilala ko na 70 year old kinulit ng porter for the tip, nataranta naibigay niya lahat ng pocket money niya $500.

^ok lang ba i-cling wrap sis? yang din ang gusto ko. kaso ang sabi sakin kasi baka naman mas mapraning ang airport bakit naka cling wrap yung luggage?

i think i've seen some na nakabalot ng cling wrap yung checked luggage nga nila.

^may nabasa ako na i-video din daw lahat while nasa x-ray area. Paper itinerary fold niyo na lang inside the passport para hindi na maghalungkat sa bag. Just don't let the 'gagos' take advantage of any distractions.

^^ sa Brisbane airporr may area kung saan pede mo pa cling-wrap  baggage mo for a fee. Ilam beses ako naka biyahe  pero never ko na try .
Sa Pinas airport yata wala nyan??

^^matagal na naman iyang cling-wrap to prevent stealing ng baggage handlers or them putting drugs, etc. They should be expecting a lot of that now, featured na nga sa Time and BBC, sana mag-lie low na sila.

^personally, ayaw ko iyang video taping na iyan. Distraction pa rin maski may kasama ka na nag-record.
