Nag FT na kami. Ma Del's is ok. May mga hit and miss, just like any other. Ok so re food, eto mga sinerve nila samin. Ratings are 5 as the highest and 1 as the lowest.
APPETIZERS
☆☆☆ Assorted Canapes - Sa blueberry lang nasarapan si H2B. It was just ok for me.
☆☆☆ Chicken Empanaditas - Oily, lacks a "crunch"
VEGETABLES
☆☆☆☆ Chopsuey with Quail Eggs - I loved it but hindi masyadong type ni H2B.
☆ Open Fresh Lumpia - Hindi talaga namin nagustuhan ito.
PASTA
☆☆☆☆☆ Fettucine Italiana - SUPER YUMMY! Really creamy! Definitely a favorite for the both of us.
CHICKEN
☆☆☆☆☆ Chicken Cordon Bleu - This is another favorite! Super creamy ulit! Yum!
PORK
☆☆☆☆ Pork Galantina with Egg Dressing - We gave it this rating but I can't remember much about it.
FISH
☆☆☆ Fish Fillet with Tar Tar Sauce (Labahita) - A little dry and very oily.
BEEF
☆ Spanish Beef Caldereta - It was way too spicy. Neither of us liked it.
DESSERT
☆☆☆☆☆ Buco Pandan Jello - We enjoyed it so much! Should have asked for more.. Haha!
OTHERS
☆☆☆☆☆ Red Iced Tea - Hindi mabilang kung naka ilan kami
☆☆ Rice - Sana they put it in a cup man lang!
We noticed they are really good with cream-based dishes. Yun yung mga favorite namin, also the dessert and iced tea. Others, so-so lang. I think the fact that the dishes were not as fresh (heated lang sa microwave), also affected the overall taste.
About the misses, one of them was, Anj was suuuper late. We were scheduled at 10AM, she arrived at 10:45. We tried to understand nalang. Besides, it gave us time to critique the food by ourselves.
The other miss, another couple arrived around 10:30. Awkward lang because H2B and I were already seated at the dining table and they had to sit at the couch and eat on the coffee table. Magkaharap pa kami so medyo bothered ako with the set up. Anj told us that they schedule FTs with 1 and 1/2 hour intervals, so IDK baka napaaga lang ba yung couple? Either way, she was late and had to accommodate the both of us upon arriving.
When Anj arrived, she didn't apologize for being late, and she even seemed flustered na may isa pang couple. We had a very short discussion and there was that evident feeling na parang minamadali kami. Na pressure siguro siya na may naghihintay pa. We told her about our verdict and she assured us that they can modify the taste to our liking. She also suggested that we drop by one of her scheduled weddings to see the set-up and to take some food home.
Overall, we think Ma Del's is just ok. Sad to say we expected more
We'll try Anj's suggestion though, so sana mas magustuhan namin ni H2B. Sana din magdagdag sila ng tao para naman may tutulong kay Anj.
About their rates, hindi pa sila nagtataas sis
Sabi ni Anj, very soon but she can't specify when. Sa styling daw ang major changes because they have a new stylist.
