I shifted my kids to a Compas Trolley bag. easier to use lalo na mga kids ang daming dalang books. trolley bags are like cars na power steering

My older kid sometimes has to bring lots of books to school. But with this bag, surprisingly, hindi mabigat kahit andami nyang dala.

Looks like it's time to change bags na. My daughter was complaining na nahihirapan na sya kunin things nya dun sa big Cinderella stroller bag nya. In fairness, masikip na nga naman. It's still in ok condition naman, yung lalagyan lang ng water sa side na sumasayad sa lupa ang nabutas na. I guess she can still use it when we have to travel somewhere. Hehe.

Backread and it looks like Hawk bags are the best bet. Mukhang super pricey nga lang (napalunok ako slight), pero if it's going to be useful to her for 3 years at least, ok na din. Told my daughter na no to character bags na this year.

^sis, when i googled meron daw sa Northpoint Shopping Centre. Haven't been there though. Ang nakita ko pa lang sa Tampines 1, sa Bugis junction, 313 somerset, plaza sing, vivo city, achaka somewhere sa citylink at orchard.

i can say na investment talaga yung Hawk trolley bag ng anak ko. i bought it when he was an incoming grade 2 student (back in 2013). nagamit pa nya yung bag this year (in grade 3). mukhang magagamit pa even hanggang grade 4 (should he still need a trolley bag dahil sa dami ng books). bilib ako sa tibay nung bag, to think na battered talaga dahil dinadaan nila sa ramp sa stairs, plus inuupuan pa ng anak ko kapag nag-iintay ng service nya. super sulit talaga..

^ i agree with you sis... 2 yrs na namin nagamit ang Hawk trolley bags ng mga girls ko... and they are still in good conditions.... they are incoming Grade 5 and Grade 6 this school year and mukhang di namin magagamit this year ang mga bags kasi wala na daw gumagamit ng trolley bags sa mga classmates nila gusto nila ngayon backpacks na...  i recall, when my eldest was in Grade 5, bihira nya nga gamitin...  my 3rd child is incoming Grade 1 and parang di nya pa rin magagamit ang trolley bag ng mga ate nya... she prefers to use her 'sofia the first' backpack... hehe

Problemado ako ngayon dahil ayaw ng anak ko ng backpack pati messenger bag ngayong darating na school year. Gusto nya raw floral na quilted shoulder bag. Vera Bradley at Stephanie Dawn lang ang alam ko na ganun na bag, sana meron katulad nun sa Landmark magpapatingin rin ako sa GH baka sakali meron ganun.

May arte/cute factor pa kasi pag babae ang anak

I recently bought my daughter a Granite Gear back pack, this coming school year kasi nasa 3rd floor na yung classroom nya so di na practical gamitin yung trolley. Its a good back pack, may "belts" sya across the chest and sa may abdomen, I guess to balance the weight. Medyo pricey (P3290) but I am hoping its a good investment. Also, the sales lady said that we can have the zipper or the tastas repaired sa Travel Club, free for life

Bawal ang trolley bag sa school kaya northface single shot back pack ang binili namin sa anak ko last school year and incoming grade 2 siya, eto pa rin ang gagamitin niyang bag.

My children's Hawk stroller bags are still intact.  My boys started using them in first grade and they will be in grade 3 next month.  Sturdy talaga.  Best buy.

my daughter used a jansports backpack last year. It is sturdy but ang problem ko is not padded at the bottom kaya natutupi her books and notebooks. We bought Smiggle backpack for her this year.
